Celestia wanted to show her adversaries that she was completely weak so wanted to take back what she gave to MHB. The town of Ponyville was a excellent place to raise a fort and Bret made it obvious that he depended on it and wouldn't give up with out a fight. The word of Celestia coming turned his people against him and fought him even before Celestia's troops arrived. When Celestia herself arrived She took over half the city and spread her influence throughout the area. Bret himself arrived late to aid his followers and they began to to get back what was theirs.

Bret P.O.V:

"We're in a jam Bret, Celestia's soldiers are forcing us out of Ponyville" Lynal says to me sitting at the table. "I agree, her experienced troops are more than we can handle at this moment, but rumors spread that she sends her top Pegasus General to the front lines for reinforcement. I believe if I can intersect her Pegasus General's unit before they reach the front lines,we can force them to fall back and we can spread more territory over the city." I say to Lynal as we walk outside. "Okay Emperor...you stay safe and Ill swing to the front line as a decoy and you'll have some time" He responds and runs off leading his small unit to the front lines. "Alpha and Beta units you're with me! We must prevent the Enemy General from reaching the front lines. ". We marched through the east side rather quickly as we knew our way around the city. We pay in wait before the front lines in surprise.

Celestia's P.O.V:
"Things are easier than expected against these armed hooligans. Once we claim Ponyville, we can regain some land in the Everfree forest to match these overgrowing worms" I say to my faithful student Twilight. "Princess it'll be a pleasure Princess Celestia...Friendship will once again return to Equestria." Twilight Responded with a reassuring smile. "That it Will Twilight, This battle will and MHB's reign in Ponyville. Did Rainbow Dash reach the front line yet?" I ask and Twilight Responded with "Shortly it seems From our scouts that Lynal has stationed himself at the front lines, so Bret must not be very close in that area.". I hugged her and smiled "Go Twilight make sure Rainbow Dash gets to the front line and then push those scoundrels out of our city". She trotted to the window and flew off.

Broad Prospective:

Rainbow Dash and her unit was closing in on their target to reinforce their allies. As Bret and his ambush party lie above from the rooftops. Before Bret could start his plans Twilight Caught up to Rainbow.

Bret's P.O.V:
"Okay Twilight let's drive out these cowards out of our home! " Rainbow Says in such a enthusiastic tone. I creep to the edge smirking rather wide. "Hello down there it seems you had a goal but I seem to stand in your way. " I say revealing myself. All their attention gazed up at me."Bret Bookspree? It seems you've made a mistake blowing your plans" Rainbow Dash says floating. "On the contrary Rainbow, Just as I cleanup this corrupt government starting with this battle. " I respond and signal for my guys. The murmur of her troops excites my urges. " Charge! " I shout jumping down onto a nearby ledge and then onto the ground. My troops attack, so I charged straight at Twilight with my Katanas held by my forever stone. She drew her weapon in anticipation of my arrival when Somepony jumped her way. " Princess I'll protect you!" She said. I couldn't see her face but I can tell that it was a female due their voice. I threw my first katana at her but she deflected it with her sword. I swung first but missed by a hair length and she bumped into my chest. Quite shocked of her quickness, I looked back up quick enough to dodge her attack. " Floating Swords won't aid you mare!" I say watching my hair fall. " For an emperor you sure fight like a private." she shoots back. "Oh really?" I respond swinging a couple more times before kicking her with my hind legs. She arose and now her face and parts of her body was visible. She was very unimpressed by my moves at and then her wings caught my attention when they poked out. "Flying away so soon eh?" I say teasingly when she jumped up in the air. "Nah, My goal isn't accomplished yet. You're still breathing Bookspree." She says Before doing several loops before fleeing straight into me. When I say that truly hurt I mean it took my breathe away, I laid on my back trying to regain my breath when she appeared dazed standing above me. I started panicking when a blade was pressed in my throat. "It seems your day has come--" she collapsed on top of me before I passed out again.

"Bret!!!Bret!!-- Come on!" I heard as I reawaken I can feel her weight get shifted of me. Lynal was there with a couple of soldiers helping me up and quickly got me out of the area. " Retreat!!!!! We must retreat out of Ponyville!!!!!" Lynal says and I have nothing to say.
