Colorful Beginnings: Leafy's Debut and The Colorful Quest
After the elimination of Foldy from The Strongest Team on Earth, the studio buzzed with confusion, anger, and excitement on the day of Leafy's debut as the co-host of TPOT. Contestants from all corners of the colorful world gathered, eagerly anticipating what this new dynamic duo had in store for them.
Two stood at the center of the stage, beaming with a smile. "Ladies and gentlemen, friends and fans of TPOT, today is a very special day! As you know, running this show has been a delight, but now, we have someone extraordinary to share the journey with us. Please give a warm welcome to our new co-host, the talented and kind-hearted Leafy!"
The studio erupted in cheers and applause, with a few whispers of disappointment, but the majority embraced Leafy's arrival. Leafy stepped forward, a bit shy at first but beaming with gratitude. "Thank you all so much for the warm welcome! I'm truly honored to be a part of this amazing show."
Two placed a reassuring hand on Leafy's shoulder, their excitement is contagious, causing Leafy to smile brightly. "And we're honored to have you here! Now, let's get started with today's challenge."
The contestants had mixed feelings about their new co-host, unsure of what to expect, but they all felt the thrill of a new adventure and the possibility of positive changes on the show.
"Now, for today's challenge," Two continued, "we're going to play a game called 'The Colorful Quest.'" Two announced cheerfully and turned towards Leafy, who was well-prepared and nodded in agreement.
"Each team will venture into different nearby locations to collect various colored crystals. Your mission is to gather as many crystals with the colors corresponding to your team as you can in the given time. The team with the most crystals wins immunity from the next elimination round!" Leafy explained as she handed out colored bracelets, crafted by Golfball, corresponding to each team, along with a large bag and a map indicating each team's crystal locations.
"Exactly! The crystals can be found outside and inside the hotel, in the Evil Forest, and over by the Beach on the opposite side of the Evil Forest! And if any of you find a crystal corresponding to another team, you have options: hide it in a nearby spot, negotiate or trade with the team to whom it belongs, or even give it to them as an act of kindness!" Two added.
"However, remember that you can't hide them further away, destroy them, or hold them for too long. After 15 minutes, any non-corresponding crystals will automatically return to their original hiding spots, and breaking these rules will cost your team 3 points per crystal. So, play fair!" Leafy emphasized.
Lots of contestants were eager to start the challenge, some already strategizing within their teams, while other members were trying to encourage each other. Two noticed Leafy taking a moment to offer kind words and encouragement to two slightly nervous contestants, Teardrop and Clock, who seemed to appreciate her support.
As the teams set off on their colorful quests, Two and Leafy took their places in the observation tower on top of the hotel, overseeing the challenge and providing commentary for both entertainment and the viewers.
"Look at them go!" Two exclaimed, their enthusiasm infectious. "This challenge is going to be one for the books!"
Leafy nodded, her eyes filled with admiration for the contestants' determination. "Absolutely! It's incredible how each one of them brings something unique to the table."
As the challenges unfolded, 'Team are you ok' decided to venture into the Evil Forest despite the risk, while 'DEATH P.A.C.T.' followed discreetly to ensure their safety.
Meanwhile, 'Team8's and 'S!' joined forces to help each other find their corresponding crystals, forming an unexpected alliance that intrigued everyone.
Back near the hotel, 'The Strongest Team on Earth' believed they had the perfect strategy by staying put but little did they know that Teardrop had an ace up her sleeve, secretly collecting crystals from their location, managing to gather 27 crystals of her color.
Meanwhile
"Team are you ok, how's everyone holding up?" Golfball's hushed voice trembled in the darkness, met with subdued affirmations and quiet nods. The looming red presence kept them on edge.
"That's reassuring. How many crystals do we have now?" GB's concern was palpable.
"Currently, we've found 26 crystals. They're like beacons in this darkness," Pen's response carried a cautious undertone.
"At least we've got something to show. I bet other teams might have fewer crystals, given the chances we've got over them," Eraser's optimism mingled with his unease.
"Agreed. Let's keep hoping for more," Tennis Ball's voice barely rose above a whisper.
Just as their conversation settled, a snapped branch behind them sent shivers through the group. Their startled exclamations were muffled by a familiar voice cutting in.
"Shh! Your noise could expose us! And I hate getting caught!"
All eyes turned to the source of the voice, watching figures emerge from the shadows.
"What the—? Team Death P.A.C.T.! Were you spying on us? Planning to swipe our crystals?" Fries' skepticism resonated as he handed their crystals to Puffball, who guarded them protectively.
"Well, yes but no," Tree rolled his eyes slightly. "Our role is to ensure your safety, not steal your crystals. Keeping them for more than 15 minutes would cost us points."
"That does make sense," Tennis Ball cautiously acknowledged.
"Wait, hold on! What if they're plotting against us?" GB's suspicion lingered.
"Nah, we're too occupied dodging danger and hunting for crystals. We've got 21 so far, and other teams might be ahead of us by now!" Lightning chimed in, shaking their bag of crystals for emphasis.
"Well, I guess immediate harm isn't on the menu," GB conceded, but the moment was shattered by a sharp SNAP.
A collective realization hung heavy. Frozen, they hoped it was just a misstep.
"It can't be them. Please tell me someone from our teams stepped on a twig," Pen's voice wavered, as if silence alone could deter a threat.
The darkness advanced, revealing a small brown bunny. Marker's enthusiasm briefly eased the tension.
"Aww, can we keep it?" Marker's query lingered, but Black Hole's urgent warning halted any actions.
Marker turned, only to face an irate red leaf, its aura radiating hostility.
"Marker, look out!" Lightning's cry triggered a swift retreat, Black Hole assuming a protective stance.
Yet their plan faltered when Evil Leafy absorbed Black Hole, vanishing in an instant. Stunned silence engulfed the group.
"How? That's not—" GB faltered, snapping back to reality as Evil Leafy reappeared before them.
"Everyone, get on Puffball, ASAP" GB's directive was swift, the team scrambling onto their makeshift escape.
They ascended, leaving the malevolent forest behind as Evil Leafy watched, unmoving.
Amidst the attempts to calm their racing hearts, Golfball's gaze lingered on Evil Leafy. 'How is this possible?' she silently pondered. 'I'll need to study this anomaly later...'
Meanwhile
"How difficult can it be to find crystals on an entire beach? We should be finding plenty, but we've only managed to grab 12 so far!" Pin's frustration reverberated through her words.
"Hey, Pin, don't let it get to you. The others probably haven't found many either. And remember, team S' is assisting us," Coiny chimed in, trying to offer reassurance.
"Coiny's right, Pin. We can't assume the worst. Others might be facing the same challenge as us," Winner added, Clock nodding in agreement.
"But you know what's more exasperating than this challenge?" Needle interrupted, joining the group. She launched into her thoughts before anyone could respond.
"Leafy! I mean, how and why is she back? Why would Two choose her out of everyone else? Do you think she manipulated Two into picking her? And what if she tries to snatch Two's powers like she did with Dream Island!"
Gasps rippled through the two teams as speculation spread like wildfire. However, someone soon voiced a counterargument.
"Hold on, why assume that? Yeah, she took Dream Island once, but that was a long time ago," Clock reasoned, gaining some supporters.
"And besides, Leafy has shown remorse for her past actions. She's tried apologizing to Fiery countless times. And bringing up that ancient incident, isn't that a bit petty?" Clock's anger was evident as he voiced his opinion, silencing Needle. before she could reply back.
"Moreover, she's not the type to forget her teammates. When I disappeared, she didn't know, and I don't blame her. But that night, she apologized to me for something beyond her control. But you? You never did! Most of you, you all forgot about me and never bothered to even apologize!" Clock's words hung in the air, leaving everyone stunned.
Needle was at a loss, unprepared for Clock's emotional outburst. She turned and walked away slowly, her guilt weighing heavily on her shoulders.
Winner approached Clock and offered a hand. "Are you okay? Do you need some space?"
"I'm alright, Winner. Thanks, though," Clock replied with a appreciative smile.
"Guys, without making things worse, the sun is setting. Time's running out. We should head back," Yellow Face intervened, eyes on the descending sun.
"Yellow Face is right. Let's head back now. And Clock, we're sorry. We didn't mean to upset you," Pin and Coiny apologized.
"I'm still processing, but no hard feelings, you two," Clock replied with a small smile.
"With that settled, let's return. And Clock, I agree with you. It's been years. Let's go, teams."
As the sun set, the teams returned to the studio with their collections of crystals. Two and Leafy praised their efforts, celebrating their creativity and teamwork.
"Congratulations to all the teams! You've done an amazing job," Leafy said with a warm smile. "No matter the outcome, you should be proud of the spirit and energy you brought to the challenge."
As the crystals were counted, one team emerged as the clear victor, but Two and Leafy ensured to commend each group for their impressive efforts.
Sadly, due to Two's new rule, two teams, 'S!' and 'Team8's, had gathered the least crystals, and both teams faced elimination. Tensions ran high as the contestants prepared for the elimination ceremony.
As the day came to a close, Two and Leafy stood side by side, basking in the positive energy of their successful day. "You were amazing out there, Leafy," Two said, admiration in their voice. "I'm so grateful to have you as my co-host."
Leafy blushed, genuinely humbled by the kind words. "Thank you, Two. I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity. I'm looking forward to creating more wonderful memories together."
And so, with their dynamic partnership, Two and Leafy continued to try their best to make The Power of Two (TPOT), a show which both hosts will try to fill with laughter, friendship, and exciting challenges. A goal to captivate the hearts of contestants and viewers alike. The colorful journey had just begun, and it was bound to be an unforgettable one.

Rookie here, thank you all for the support you've all given me so far despite just starting! You readers have inspired me to keep on going, and I'll do my best for all of you!
Although, I have forgotten to add some details in the description, so I may as well add them here!
Firstly, you may have noticed that some characters might behave out of character in this story. I apologize for that, but since it's already written, I've decided to go with the flow.
I also wanted to say that in the future chapters, there will be some Leafy harems introduced. I'm a multishipper, so I'm sorry if some ships might make some of you uncomfortable. Please know that I'm exploring these ships purely for fun and not necessarily because I actually ship most with Leafy.
Lastly, I've been trying a different kind of writing might perhaps a bit more formal than my usual style. I wanted to try something new with a help of a good friend of mine who doesn't like Wattpad but is willing to help me out in writing and with some help of Grammarly as well! So not all credit goes to me, although they would like to stay Anonymous.
That's all for now! Once again, thank you for your support. I hope you all have a wonderful day or night!"
