I know that this story only focuses on the original series......but the picture looks super cool!!

The next day the foursome were asleep just before history class, laying face down on the desks. Somehow they managed to not get enough sleep. While William snored loudly, Lizzy woke up from her slumber and stretched her arms to the ceiling. She yawned a little and decided to shuffle her Duel Monsters cards out of boredom. One of the classroom doors flung open and the rest of their classmates rushed inside.

"Oh no, what did you four do this time?" a classmate named Aaliyah asked, looking at them.

"Had fun," Lizzy replied with another yawn. "And stayed up a little too late..."

"Uh-huh...."

"Actually, we had to do a few errands," William said, waking up from his tiny nap.

"What kind of errands?" Yami asked, sitting down at a desk. Lizzy got up from her chair and handed Yami and Yugi their decks. She sat down after that, still feeling exhausted. The two duelists were shocked and stared at their sleepy classmates.

"You got the decks back by yourselves?!" Yugi gasped.

"Yeah," William replied tiredly. "But that's not the reason why we stayed up so late."

"Ryan needed help with his homework," Lizzy explained. "It took a very little no time..."

"Hey, I'm not that smart," Ryan remarked, finally awake.

"Well thanks!" Yami smiled. "You didn't have to get out cards back."

"It's one of our ways of showing appreciation for friends and a game that we really enjoy," Lizzy said with a grin. Xavier, at that moment, had an idea.

"Speaking of games," he began, "why don't we play a few at lunch like old times?"

"I'm up for it!" William exclaimed, getting very ecstatic.

"Me too!" Lizzy agreed. "It's been so long since we played together!"

"Can we join in?" Joey asked the happy group, on behalf of the others. They nodded and Mr. T came rushing through the door.

"Sorry I'm late!" he exclaimed. "I was talking to a fellow teacher and that took forever!"

"Mr. T, we're planning to game at lunch again!" Lizzy screamed happily.

"All right!!! Here in this classroom?"

"You bet!"

"Yes! I can't wait to play the shuffle game."

"I totally forgot about that game!" Ryan exclaimed in surprise. "We need to play." William agreed and high-fived
him. Mr. T thought it'd be a good idea to start the class period after that little commotion. Discussion of current events and random occurrences came about the classroom, some were funny while others were sad. Lizzy wrote down a few notes about the discussion until a folded piece of paper was given to her. Curious, she opened it right away and it said,

How did you know where the cards were? Yami

Lizzy chuckled, almost forgetting the little promise she made. She grabbed her pencil and wrote:

I can see it with my mind. I have these crazy mind powers that let me do that. You won't tell anyone, will you? Lizzy

She passed the note to her left, hoping it will reach him. A few minutes later, the paper got to Lizzy's desk again. She quickly unfolded it and it said:

I won't. Yami

Lizzy sighed in relief. She was really hoping that he wouldn't say a word. She finally relaxed and enjoyed the remainder of the class with a smile.
