Yami banged his head on a desk and groaned, "Why did you involve me in this bet?!"

"You were the first person I thought of," Joey said nervously. Yami sighed but then gritted his teeth. He was fine with bets but this particular one made him feel a bit uneasy...

"Tell me what I have to do again," he said.

"All you have to do is go out with a girl," Ryan explained. "That's it."

"Okay but what girl would want to go out with me?" The three began to think of a girl that can help with this. Their thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the classroom door. Ryan dashed to the door and opened it, revealing Lizzy in the other side.

"Hiya!" she smiled. "I finally got the ace."

"It's about time!" Yami teased with a smirk. "Did you cheat?"

"No! I told you I wouldn't."

"Just making sure." The girl sighed and turned to Ryan. "So how's your guy meeting?"

"Doing good," he replied. "But you must leave."

"Do I have to?"

"Yes!" the three guys exclaimed.

"Okay, okay," Lizzy smiled. She closed the door and went back to where she was sitting outside. Ryan began to think as he saw Lizzy. He then had a good idea.

"Why don't you ask her, Yami?" Ryan finally asked.

"Lizzy?!" he exclaimed. "Oh no, I wouldn't ask her."

"Why not?" Joey said. "You two are pretty good friends."

"I don't want her to be involved in a bet like this."

"Honestly," Ryan began, "I think she'll be fine with it."

"Why don't you want her to be involved?" Joey asked curiously. "You like her?" Yami quickly turned to him and shook his head. "Okay, just wondering."

"Go on and ask!" Ryan smiled. "I don't think she'll say no."

"Okay fine," Yami said. He then walked back outside to go see Lizzy. His stomach felt uneasy and knotted. He couldn't understand why. This wasn't a real date. It was only part of a bet that somehow involved him asking a girl out. There shouldn't be any nervousness at all.

"Something wrong?" Lizzy asked, pausing his thoughts.

"Hm?" Yami replied. He realizes that he has been thinking without saying a word to her. "I'm sorry, did you say anything?"

"No, I didn't. But why are you so dazed?"

"I'm just thinking...actually, can I ask you something?"

"Sure! What is it?" Yami explained the entire situation as his heart beats very fast. When he finished, Lizzy giggled playfully. "That's why I never bet with Ryan at darts," she said.

"So...you'll do it?"

"Yeah! It's only a bet and I need to get out of the house on the weekends anyway. When do you want to hang out?"

"Whenever you're free." The girl began to think of when it would be the best time.

"How about Sunday?" Lizzy suggested after some thought. "We can hang out then."

"All right then," Yami replied with a smile. "Now what were you doing while I was gone?"

"I decided to shuffle the cards and find the ace again. But look what I got!" She held up two cards, which revealed to be the king and queen of hearts.
