Lost in a Jealous sea
A city-limited Voyager tries to find solace
His teacup runs empty of failures
But his mind is a deserted island he left long ago

A Storm looms over his head
His current perceptions of life,
Get tossed around
Like a little toy boat
In a Whirlpool of confusion

If only he knew life as I perceived it,
Once, it was full of grace and compassion
And then, the tide turned against him
He's gone overboard on the friendship of his own happiness
Just as i had gone overdue on my once good spirits
When i was born into a happy-go-lucky middle-classed society
Running on empty promises of redemption and breaches of trust

Unbeknownst to the current struggles and price-ridden sacrifices, we endure
One by land and one currently by sea
I try to remain as a calm river, running with kindness
I sail my friendly friendship looking for more social contacts to come aboard,
including him...

If only life wasn't so hard as his own right now
He wasn't lonely all the time and was joyful and caring unlike some suburban girl like me
He was beckoning for the long lasting compassion that i had, and although i could never have the courage to spare
Not for him, at least,
He did experience it years ago, when he was still docking at bay with his Relationship
But it sank to the bottom, due to an unfortunate encounter at bay
when the tide came rushing in,
And her relationship got swept in the current...

He's now sailing too far away to make even the simplest form of contact
And for years, my friendship has sailed around his Jealous sea,
Like a voyeur,
But because i was afraid to reveal my true colors,
Our, "ships" never passed each other

I can't bear the sight of his current misfortune
I, even sweat nervously when i think of him now
Feel sorry for him
Yet, in some weird way,
i love him
Not romantically or sexually as i love my boyfriend
But, i love him enough to let him to know that no matter where he goes
Be it a world full of Jealous seas, confused whirlpools, or calm rivers,
He's not alone
