Redmon, Maine was a quaint coastal town, the kind of town where nothing ever really happened. The coastal breeze brushed lazily through the faded streets, and the fog from the ocean crowded the empty roads at night. It was a blissful place, quiet and peaceful. In the summer, it was a popular tourist area, with Volley Pier offering cotton candy the size of yoga balls and a ferris wheel towering over the small homes.

This summer is different, however. The Lighthouse Killer has plans for the town, and no one knows who or when they will strike next. There are two victims so far, Mark McNowell, an 80-year-old who was reportedly 'going fishing' at the time he went missing, and Sierra Ronan, a 33-year-old young mom who was on her way to a hot yoga class. Both were found dead on the beach, with a turned-on flashlight taped inside their mouths.

Although no one knows who the killer is, a group of high school students will come to find out they know a lot more about the incidents than they realize.
