Chapter 8: Valiant Hero returns home
Skylighter Residence
Morning had risen faster than most could count on Coruscant. It seemed as of late that the city planet was on a faster rotation than any other planet, but for some that was just because of either the stress of the war or just not adjusting to the comfortable atmosphere which was the capital city. For one of them it seemed even so after his return from a week or so ago.
Xinthiss seemed a little more like himself when it came to everyday life, but he still had some remorse and regret when it came to the mentioning of his former jedi master and his sacrifice. It was mostly his time away from the order and the war itself that kept him from thinking about it, but if he was being honest he had to thank his wife the most for it. Bonny had been as lovingly supportive as he had hoped, but when it came to her problems after that senate fiasco he would be there for her as well. They didn't attend the funeral of Azmo as they both agreed that it would be determinable for them to go there, but it was mostly something they both knew would just make Xinthiss sullen once again. It was something that he didn't want to witness again considering he already accepted that Azmo was gone.
One would think that Bonny was getting somewhat of a spotlight when it came to things at the Senate tower. That was mostly because after foiling the first assassination attempt on the new senator of Coruscant she was given much more free will at the tower than she would have loved. The apparent love by many of the senators were also clear as she was frequently harassed by many of them, but many like senator Glina had been respectful and had stayed their hand.
Then there was the senator in question, but sadly Xinthiss did not know her personally he knew her by name, Isis. While Bonny had been working most of the time at the senate tower she had agreed on thinking of a recommendation for a jedi guard for the senator. It was something that stressed her out since this would be nearing the end of her week for her too decide, and sadly she still did not know who. Bonny had first thought that Xin could do it, but after realizing just how bad that most likely would be she regretted thinking it.
Though Gayle she knew was being very reasonable with her as the two frequented conversations and meetings together. If anyone was being honest it seemed that Gayle favored Bonny more than anyone, but understood that it wasn't in her power to choose who would protect her. Knowing the woman however she was stubborn and made sure to make Bonny her protector until the decision would finally be made, and neither of them regretted the time that they spent together. To know that Bonny had finally found someone that gave such a friendship like his and Kel's made Xinthiss happy for his wife.
They all really needed the win right about now anyway. Almost all of them had been threw near death experiences, but they were glad to be able to rest for a change and relax. Something that they all didn't know would be able to come from their titles, a fact that surprised Xinthiss when it came to Bonny and Gayle's new friendship he thought with amusement.
Then he finally returned.
When Xinthiss and Bonny had heard that Kellan had returned from Bothawui the two were ecstatic to know that he was finally home after what was happening on the planet. Their excitement was cut short when they discovered how injured the man was upon his return, and without hesitation the two went to meet him after he was brought off the shuttle. The two being as close and like family too Kellan decided to stay with him as the soldiers and medical staff took him to the hospital, Coruscant General.
It didn't take long for the man to awaken from his extra time within a bacta tank. The first thing he noted when he did awake was the two people around him, but at first Xinthiss thought that he was as sullen and angry at something. Xinthiss pondered this really with narrow eyes at his friend until Kellan simply shook his head and smiled at the two. It didn't take a non force user to know just how glad he was too have the people he considered family with him. None of them really complained either, even if it was showing a little more than what a Jedi should be showing in public.
Merely a few hours had passed since his arrival that morning, but by then Kellan was feeling much better due to his time from being in a temporary tank on his trip to Coruscant and then his stay in the hospital. Though Xin knew his friend better than he knew himself, and he knew when Kellan was troubled and doubtful. He may have been trying to hide it, but even Kellan knew that Xin could tell when something was wrong and wrong was definitely the word to use here.
Kellan did not seem to be acting as his usual self. It was somewhat strange really considering the man was usually hopeful and prideful when it came to every situation, but now it seemed as if though he was sullen and angry with every thought that came into mind. When the three had arrived back at the Skylighter residence the two people in question were confused and shocked when Kellan turned down their offer to come in and in turn walked away from them without saying a word.
Xinthiss and Bonny both had to ponder what had happened to their friend as it was clear that something was bothering Kellan to no end. It had gotten worse as it seemed that he tried to distance himself from everyone for the time being, but while Bonny understood that he needed time for whatever happened. The same could not be said for Xinthiss however as he felt offended that Kellan would not at least speak to him about it, but that drive had only gotten worse after he heard what happened on Bothawui.
Jedi Master Belth Allusis and his men were seemingly overwhelmed during the final hour of the battle of Bothawui. Nearly outgunned and outmanned nearly ten too one it made sense why Kellan felt remorseful and angry about what happened on the planet. The man wanted to die alongside his fellows during the battle, but if Xin was being truthful. He couldn't blame Kel really. Though they had thought it would put some ease to Kellan's consciousness that the Republic still held Bothawui even after their losses, but yet it did not ease his mind what so ever.
Both tried and failed at getting Kellan to at least cheer up after the battle was set and done, but still he resented. Eventually Bonny finally relented and left the situation to her husband who she knew would be the best suited for helping his friend. Though that in it's own was very difficult in itself as Xinthiss wasn't very known to be the calm type when it came to cheering someone up. It started as they had thought it would, with the man trying to pry Kellan to speak to him and tell him what was bothering him. When that didn't work he resorted to other tactics, but when these didn't work he was close to quitting when one last idea came to mind.
If Kellan was being this 'moody' about what happened and wouldn't want to talk about it, then Xinthiss knew just well how to get it out of him. With little hesitation Xin gave the call and Kellan answered, but was ultimately surprised when Xinthiss proposed something he thought he never would propose. With this new idea and proposition the man barely disagreed as it was clear on the holo-call that something had happened to his friend as well, but Kellan was stubborn and knowing if he would talk about anything was debatable at best.
For now however the two were going drinking.
******
When Kellan first arrived at the cantina he felt a little off being in what was considered the lower city of Coruscant. Why Xin chose this place out of them all was what had him worried, but he trusted his friend more than anyone. It's why he was here, but mostly because he knew Xinthiss was trying his hardest to help his friend with the grief and anger he was secretly holding in.
That was a reason he loved Xinthiss and Bonny to be fact. The two of them were always so caring when it came to him and the love that they shared for him secretly was always cherished and appreciated by Kellan. Though he felt as if this situation was just something that he needed to get over on his own, and Bonny he knew finally relented and decided to let him do so thankfully. However Xin would not let him do so easily, not unless he was there to support him in some way or form. He had to give his friend credit, he was quite persistent.
Upon walking through the door he noticed the abundance in people around the cantina, but it wasn't surprising as this cantina was the Dealer's Den Cantina a place notorious for having every character on Coruscant. There was about as much as you would expect here smugglers, soldiers on leave, civilians ranging from humans to all types of aliens, and lastly there were some jedi here as well surprisingly. With a cautious eye, Kellan scanned the room and soon his eyes landed on a figure leaning on a bar counter near the center of the room.
Without hesitation Kellan walked towards it and his assumption was correct when he saw that it was Xin waiting for him. When Xinthiss noticed Kellan the man waved him over to join him, which Kellan did happily by sitting down next to him.
"What made you decide on doing this?" Kellan asked clearly weary and now fully hesitate as his friend simply shrugged and waved for a bartender to serve them.
"You weren't exactly making things easy for us to talk Kel, but this? This is just my last attempt really." Xin replied drolly. It seemed that the man was tired of Kellan's constant refusals to his other attempts of talking.
"Mhm, we haven't drinked before so this will be new right?" Kellan asked clearly worried about what could happen to the two clear newcomers to drinks.
"Yup it'll be new alright, but they'll probably give us something not very strong upon our choice of course." Xin was apparently confident in the two unlike his friend, but before Kellan could argue with him they were interrupted by the bartender...a besalisk was apparently their server tonight.
"Whaddya having tonight?" The bulking besalisk asked with a gruff, and booming voice it seemed that he was irritated and tired by the business tonight. Though it was like the towering alien was staring into their souls as Kellan and Xinthiss were contemplating what they would have.
"I suppose Tarisian ale? For a start?" Xin spoke for both of them too which Kellan was thankful for, but was soon silent when the bartender grunted before turning, and leaving to get their drinks.
"He's pleasant isn't he?" Xin asked sarcastically with one brow raised eye into his forehead, but Kellan had no response other than smiling and laughing at his friend.
"Knowing you it will turn into a brawl between the both of you if he hears you." Kellan laughed slightly before sobering up quickly when the bartender returned with their drinks. With little thought the besalisk slapped their drinks down and walked off to turn to his next customers, but this was clearly just his mistaken rage of having unruly patrons all night.
The two were merely drinking for a bit after words until they both felt comfortable to the point of talking about anything, but it was more or less the same much to the disappointment of Xinthiss. His friend would continue as he did every time they tried to speak, he would stammer, speak about something else, and then he would just dodge any attempt at speaking about what happened. It was to the point that Xin had finally had enough, but so much to the point that when things silenced between them he suddenly slammed his hands on to the table and pointed looked at Kellan.
"I have just about enough of this Kel! I have tried everything for you to speak to me about what happened on that damn planet!" Xin spoke angrily as he continued to look at his still silent friend, but it was clear that Kellan was being affected by this.
"I probably don't know anything about what happened on to you there, but this is ridiculous!" Xin continued, but was cut short when Kellan slammed his own drink on to the table before turning to his friend with clear anger in his eyes.
"I understand you want to help me Xin, I know you do. Yet you don't know how to help me in this situation I was forced off planet because of Master Althusis' decision to sacrifice everything to get me off it! I wished I would have stayed there to fight alongside him and his men when everything mattered most, but now their dead and I'm one of the only few who managed to escape like a coward!" Kellan replied completely lost in his own fit of anger, but rather than stay where he was the man quickly and swiftly rose from his chair, and left the cantina.
To say at the least of knowing what was bothering Kellan was a relief to Xinthiss, but now he knew he had to make things right with his friend. It was another of their fights after all, but even he knew they needed to be better men than this. With a quick payment with the bartender and a nod to the bartenders approval at the price Xin rushed out the door to catch up with Kellan, but was stopped when he found him outside in a clearly angered state still trying to push that emotion down as best as he could.
When Kellan noticed that Xinthiss was watching him the man said nothing as he silently and slowly fell down the wall he was leaning on. After he sat down he looked at the ground and tried to continue to mask his anger, but knew that it wasn't helping at all. That was until he heard a shuffle next to him and noticed that Xin was now sitting next to him clearly silent as well, until he spoke again.
"You know I'm sorry for what I said, I just...well you know how I am, when I don't know what's going on Kel I'll keep pushing until I know." Xin stated calmly and politely as he stared up towards the metallic ceiling that covered the beautiful Coruscant night sky that he loved so much.
"It's just I'm trying to help you the only way I know how, but you're just being so difficult with me and it's frustrating. I only want you too speak to me about this so I can help you." Xin stated almost sadly as he peered over at his now calming friend.
"I know Xin, but you can't expect me to tell you everything that goes on with me. It puts too much pressure on me, but I need you to understand that this is something I need too get over myself. If you want to help me I appreciate it, but don't try to meddle with it." Kellan replied smartly at first before he corrected himself.
"Yeah that I know too, but you know me...I care too much." Xin responded jokingly, but was surprised when he heard a light chuckle come from his friend. That made him smile actually.
"Thank you for that Xin, for always having my back even when I don't need it." Kellan said with clear respect and admiration towards his friend, but rather than getting a snarky comment he received a pat on the shoulder from Xinthiss.
"That's my job as you're best friend you dolt." Xin joked with a little snarky comment leering behind it. Kellan however couldn't help but to be amused by the comment.
"I-I heard about Azmo, I'm sorry for what happened to him." Kellan responded sadly for his friend, but upon hearing the mention of this Xinthiss was silent.
"Yeah, he was a good friend and I will miss him, but don't go blaming yourself as selfish for thinking about you're problems over my own. I suppose I needed this chat it's more like a reality check for me in the end." Xin stated as he finally realized to himself that he needed this talk more than Kellan needed it, both of them had suffered and it was clear that Xin only wanted to get it off his chest about what happened. He wanted to release that pain with Kellan at his shoulder as they always had been.
"I suppose we both needed it then, but thank you anyway for always being here for me Xin, you and Bonny both." Kellan replied clearly calming down from his heated moment earlier, but it didn't take a fool to notice that he was cheering up by talking. In the end, Xin had the last laugh.
"And thank you for always having my back, and to pull me back into reality at times." Xin stated with a chuckle, he knew that Kellan found it amusing as well with the slight laugh he gave in response as well.
The two continued to speak for nearly a few minutes after until they decided it was time for them both to return home, but if they were being honest with themselves they were both glad that they went ahead and made up after their latest fight. The next day would be awkward for them both if they were still angry with each other. That being said the two who were now fully made up decided to help each other off the ground before walking together to the speeder's and transports guide.
"You know we should make this drinking thing a routine eh?" Xin stated with him stopping for a moment to make it seem as he was being truthful for what he said.
"Don't push you're luck." Kellan said with a snarky smile and proceeded onward. Xin wasn't far behind catching up to him afterword's.
When the two said their goodbyes for the night and when Xinthiss returned home he was surprised to find Bonny already waiting for him. She understood what he and Kellan left earlier to do so she prepared and made dinner just in case the two of them didn't eat tonight, a fact that Xinthiss was thankful for as he was starving when he got home.
After the two were done eating they chatted and talked for sometime before they decided to head to bed, but from the looks that Xin was getting from Bonny he was sure that she was still riddled in stress because she had no choice to give the senate committee tomorrow.
"Bonny if you're that worried about it then just tell them that you don't have a choice and let them decide, It'll be easier on you if you do that instead." Xin said as he prepared himself for bed that night by taking off his clothing one by one.
"I know, but you know me Xin I intend to get that job done." Bonny replied sadly as she laid in bed, but it was clear she was tired from how she was already lying down.
"Yeah don't I know that well, but if you're going to worry about it so much then volunteer someone you know for instance then." Xin replied as he removed his shirt and pant's next, but soon moved to the bathroom after.
"Yes, but who is the question?" Bonny said a loudly as to ensure that her husband could hear her from the bathroom.
"Hell if no-one else just say Kellan can do it, because lets be honest the last thing he needs right now is another mission off world." Xin replied from the bathroom clearly unaware of what that answer had done to his wife. Bonny had seemed surprisingly stunned after hearing this comment and was still shocked and processing it after hearing it, even when Xinthiss came back and laid down in the bed with her.
"Goodnight my love." Xin stated pulling her out of her trance before kissing her passionately.
"Goodnight my love." She replied back and watched as Xin slowly moved over towards his side of the bed and closed his eyes. He wouldn't know it yet, but he had given Bonny an idea that she hated herself for not knowing sooner.
She knew who she was going to pick now for sure.
******
When morning came Bonny was more than prepared for the day as she got dressed and ready for her eventual meeting with the senate committee and the most importantly the Vice chair specifically. She knew the mentioning of the committee was a bit much, but was nothing more than just a ploy to ensure that no-one would interfere or disturb the meeting between Bonny and the Vice chair. While Xin did suspect something at first when she mentioned this too him he didn't really put much thought into it, he just simply nodded and agreed to what she was doing all the while trusting her as he always did.
With a loving kiss to Xin's cheek and a quick goodbye, Bonny had ran out of the house and towards the lift in their apartment. She was very eager to get to her job for today.
Since the two of them lived in the upper city of Coruscant, and were relatively near the senate plaza it usually did not take long for Bonny to arrive at the Senate building. It was like usual a few shorts minutes of walking and she would arrive at the building with ease, in which she did easily as always. The feeling of entering the senate building was always tense now for her sense stopping the assassination attempt as most of the Senate Guard who she admired were treating her as one of their own. Something that felt alien to her really.
It wasn't just the guard who were giving her a high amount of admiration and respect as well. Almost a lot of the senators within the building gave her a sort of favoritism and quite liked her, but then there were others like that pig she met on her first day who tried to have their way with her. Gayle, Glina, and several others were amused that one day when the disgusting senators were humiliated and pushed away by Bonny who was not having it.
Today was one of those days were should would not tolerate it, so she did what she normally did she would wave and nod to those greeting her, and to the ones she despised she would just slink past them. She was unsure if she could tolerate the idiocy of some of them right now.
When she reached the Vice Chair's office she was happy to know that he was currently in the room filing what looked like paperwork after paperwork. He seemed irritated and tired from the clear amount of work he already had and would have to do for the rest of the day, but upon seeing Bonny enter the room he seemed calmed and happy to have something keep the work off his mind.
"Knight Vaile, good morning to you." Hector stated cheerfully.
"Good Morning." Bonny replied with the same amount of enthusiasm.
"I believe today is the end mark for that week you wanted, and I'm afraid we can't hold back the Jedi Order and the Senate any longer. Do you have a suggestion for us or no?" Hector asked with a serious tone, it was clear that he wanted to know her decision so he could forward it for debate to the Jedi Council and the Senate as a whole.
"Yes, I have only one person in mind." Bonny said truthfully she was ready to give her answer at the fullest.
"Then by all means, speak their name." Hector implied anxiously awaiting her answer.
Bonny smiled however and chuckled a little knowing full well who she was going to pick, but whether or not he would appreciate this or hate her for this would be completely up to him. Only time would tell.
"Kellan Barr is my choice." Bonny replied finally after a moment or two.
"Knight Barr, hm?" Hector seemed to be pondering the name and her choice before he tiredly smiled. "I have not heard of this Knight Barr, but if he is you're choice then I will forward it to the Senate and the Jedi Council immediately." He stated as a smile appeared on both of their faces, but for completely different reasons.
For Bonny she chose Kellan because he was in her opinion the best one suited for this role, but also because what Xin said was right the man needed a leave from the war after what happened to him. She had silently laughed too herself as she knew that once Kellan and Gayle met the two would become fast friends, it was just her gut feeling telling her that.
On the other hand, Hector was only happy because he finally had a recommendation to give to the wolves that were known as the Senate and the Jedi Council. So unlike his Jedi friend he without any form of hesitation went to one of the holo-projector's and started making calls, but he simply waved off Bonny and told her that Senator Gayle would most likely meet her with her new guard sometime later.
With that thought in mind, she excused herself from the room knowing full well that their business for the day was done and over. She actually pondered how Kellan might react to getting this new job or position really, but Bonny hoped that he would at least appreciate not being sent back to the war anytime soon. That was what she was hoping for in him hopefully becoming Gayle's new bodyguard.
However she was confident that Kellan would no doubt become her new guard and protector, she just had that feeling. Bonny liked Gayle well enough already and it was clear that Gayle considered their friendship as more than just 'meager' or whatever she could phrase it. It was actually amusing to her as some of the other senators were jealous by the clear attention and love that Bonny was and had received from Gayle. There wasn't a day since her inauguration that she and Bonny did not talk or were seen together, exploring, and chatting until the day ended for them both.
This attention certainly gained the audience of several senators who believed that Gayle was cherishing Bonny more like a blood relative or a sister than anything, and while some found it amusing and great there were those who thought otherwise. Those who did have a problem with their friendship had clearly made it obvious to the two by vocally stating their opinions, but it did little to affect either of them. Many of the senators referred to Bonny as just trash and other rude, and hurtful things. These things in question did not phase the woman however as she expected it from the low-lives, but too have Gayle defend her as well? That was just something she cherished and loved about her new friend.
It was this friendship that made her ultimately choose Kellan in the first place, but it also had to mostly deal with the fact that clearly he needed sometime away from everything as well. She was still amused however as she thought back to how Xinthiss compared their friendship too his and Kellan's, it was a funny thought at first until she realized that it could be true in the long run. The two of them were fast friends and soon considered one another brothers before the first year of their friendship had even ended, but perhaps the same could happen for Bonny and Gayle? She pondered the question heavily as it felt as if though that was where Gayle wanted to go with this friendship, it just had too be.
She decided after to forget these thoughts for now, and continued on with her day. She was going to have a lot to do today since most of the proceeding's and now the senate would be moving forward with everything. It would be a long day.
After a few hours had passed and Bonny had completed most of her duties for the day which were slim and few in number she was mostly distracted during her small break when she received a call from one of the senate guards. It seemed that she was being personally requested by Gayle herself, but upon hearing this particular news it made Bonny have little hesitation on leaving or not. She briefly answered the guard and received where she would be meeting her friend, and Bonny was eager too meet her for the day. However she wasn't at all surprised by the meeting location which was in fact the fountain outside the senate plaza.
With this new information in mind she decided to hurry and quickly, and swiftly left the room she was currently sitting in to join her friend. By the time she had finally reached the fountain however it was already setting towards evening, and she knew she would have to return home to Xinthiss soon, but he could wait for the moment...this came first.
Bonny smiled upon approaching the fountain as she saw the silhouette of the woman sitting down on the stone foundation of it's center. Though that smile only widened when she noticed the man standing to her left, but it was clear that he wasn't paying attention as he stared out at the thousands of speeders bustling in and out around Coruscant. Unlike her guard however, Gayle was happy when Bonny approached. Uncharistically of herself Gayle hugged Bonny when she got into reach and had a huge smile on her face.
"Bonny it's good to see you again today, I assume that today was as boring as ever?" Gayle asked in a brash and calm demeanor. Though she did seem a little curious as she noticed her new guard Kellan had stiffened at the sound of her mentioning Bonny's name.
"Yes about the same as usual, but this time a little more less of the usual disgusting senators and such." Bonny said with a bit of bashfulness herself, but it held some sort of snark and cockiness as well. This just made Gayle laugh and giggle on the other hand really, and it seemed that it affected Kellan as well. It seemed he didn't yet know that once you got to know Gayle she wasn't as uptight as one might seem, but that was probably because of Bonny that she acted the way she did.
"I don't doubt it, oh! My apologies." Gayle blurted out after sobering from her fit of laughter. She quickly motioned for Kellan to join them, and with some hesitation he did. The first thing he did however was the fact that he smartly looked at Bonny in a way knowing she had something to do with this situation. "Have you met my new guard by chance, Bonny?" Gayle questioned clearly unaware of their very well good knowledge of each other.
"Oh yes we have actually." Bonny said with a small smile as she pointedly looked at Kellan awaiting for his response. Yet her smile grew even more as she clearly saw the realization that Kellan was facing, he was understanding that she definitely had something to do with getting him into this. Bonny being the snarky woman she was at times merely winked at Kellan, but added to the fact that she was the ultimate one who helped 'push' him into getting this job.
"Yes we know each other very well, both me and Bonny were in the same class together and trained together on Tython. We're both good friends really." Kellan said with some embarrassment that both the women picked up on and gave sly look's at each other. He sighed realizing that this was going to be difficult for him, but he now realized fully that it was apparent that these two were good friends for better or for worse.
"I see...that is very good then, but I have to ask was this you're doing by any chance Bon?" Gayle asked pointedly and almost demandingly, but Bonny knew better to know that she was trying to push.
"I was given the option to recommend someone for the council to pick, but lucky for you I knew someone capable of doing the job." Bonny said with a smile that grew when she saw the shocked look on Kellan's face as the truth was fully discovered.
"Well, if you think that Kellan here is capable enough. I'll take you're word for it Bonny." Gayle said confidently fully trusting her friend's words more than anyone's, and Kellan's too mix as well.
"He won't let you down, right Kel?" Bonny asked with a delicate brow shoved high into her forehead, but if she was being honest she was only making fun of Kellan at this point.
"Yes I promise I won't." Kellan responded formally and respectfully, much to the amusement of the two women.
"With that settled then I think it's about time we all head home no? Kellan would you be a dear and escort me home please?" Gayle stated and questioned, turning to her new guard with a smile on her delicate face. Kellan however seemed a little worried about this, but knew very well that she was just messing with him and wished to speak to him more.
"Of course." He responded swiftly and without hesitation.
"Excellent, and with that said I'll see you tomorrow Bonny. Does lunch sound appropriate?" Gayle asked her friend, but with a smile and nod the senator had her answer. It didn't take long after for the three to depart from one another, but rather than split up Kellan, and Gayle stayed together as they walked to her home. The same was said for Bonny as she decided to head home as well for today was tiring as always.
She was seemingly happy though, it seemed as if though Gayle and Kellan would become a good match already. If only she would have known at the time what she had done, maybe she would have prevented it slightly...and slightly was a key word there.
******
When she arrived home that night she was surprised to find Xin not already asleep as he always was by this time. It was already too the point of night when she returned home, but instead of finding her husband where she usually found him she instead found him where she didn't think too go.
Xinthiss was sitting outside on the balcony of the apartment seemingly unaware of what was happening around him as he hovered in the air in blissful peace. It was mostly surprising to Bonny that Xinthiss of all people was meditating at all, but it shocked her too see that he was managing to keep himself and several objects outside floating while doing so.
She had known that the force was strong in her husband, but not as strong as most would think. It scared her really that now however she felt a tinge of just how powerful the force was swirling from him, that was mostly because she had never seen him meditate before and this was certainly her first time.
Xin had first started doing this on a daily basis after Azmo died. It was what she accepted as his way to forget, and accept that his former friend and master was now truly gone. Though while she knew that he did in fact meditate from time to time now, she had no idea just how strong the force was emitting from him while he did so. It wasn't just the calmness and purity of peace that she felt from him, but she also felt a wave of sadness and anger being washed away in the masses.
This feeling felt rather strange and alien to her, but she would not let it consume her. She understood that this was just another learning curve for her husband as his new obsession of learning the mysteries of the force were increasing. Bonny did not question her husband or his reasoning's for doing this, but rather decided to be the loving and caring part of his life he needed right now. It was why after he was done from his meditation that she instigated that nights festivities.
While Xinthiss and Bonny would be lost in a haze of desire for one another that night, both had to wonder just what the future held after recent events. It was question that both of them were curious on, but both were ready for whatever came.
At least they hoped they would be for better or for worse.
