Who Knew We'd Get Weapons?

A/N: The Bow is Stella's weapon. Also, play the song when I tell you to do so.

Stella's P.O.V

It was the next Morning, my shoulder sore from where Pete had put it back in the socket last night so it wouldn't really heal out of it's socket. I opened my eyes, and realized my head was laying on Patrick's chest, who was holding me close to him in his sleep. I went to get up, but Patrick's arms tightened around my waist, pulling me back towards him. I giggled softly, kissing his cheek, earing a soft smile in return. This time when I went to get up, he actually let me, so I stood up and stretched, wincing slightly at some of the bruises moving under my shirt. I looked over at Patrick, and seen that he was pretty much spooning a Pillow, and giggled again.

I looked around the room to see Pete curled in a chair asleep, Rae in an Identical one, Andy on the couch with an arm thrown over his face, snoring, and Joe was on the other bed, spread out like a starfish. All of a sudden, the door was thrown open, startling everyone, and earned a growl from Patrick, guess he's not a morning person.

"Whoever it is, it can wait." He spat, burrowing his head into one of our pillows, trying to go back to sleep.

Looking at the door, I seen Brendon huffing, and he answered,

"Unless you want tranqed again, then get your asses moving. Thomas sent a squadron his Hunters to come here to eradicate you guys."

                I furrowed my eyebrows.

"They're coming to kill you guys. So move it Dragons." Hayley said sharply, who walked in behind Brendon.

"We know a place to keep you guys that even Thomas has no idea it exists." Brendon added, as Midnight hopped into my lap, expecting to be pet.

I started to pet Midnight, causing her to purr happily, then I looked at Brendon.

"How long till they show up?" I asked.

"An hour, maybe forty minutes now, so get y'alls lazy asses out of bed and get ready." Brendon answered, and everyone got up, getting ready, well besides Rae and I.

Patrick looked at me, his suitcase in one of his hands, and I noticed he changed quickly, I didn't even notice him head into the bathroom. I looked at his outfit, which was a pair of boots. black skinny jeans, a red t-shirt, and a black leather jacket, all topped with his infamous fedora. I rose a questioning look, silently asking where his kingly suit was, and when Patrick finally understood what I meant, he chuckled, and raised his suitcase up.

"I don't think we should raise any suspicion to any of the fans if they wondered why I was wearing a yellow suit with a sash and a sword, don't you?" He asked, pulling me up from the bed I was sitting on, and kissed my cheek, as we looked at the others to see that they were ready as well.

We left the hotel room, and quickly headed for the lobby, but seen some Hunters walking around aimlessly, searching for someone, but we already knew who they were searching for. Us. I glared at Brendon.

"I thought you said about forty minutes?" I whispered harshly, switching Midnight to my other arm so I could hold her.

"That's what I said. they must have went over the speed limit to get here." He muttered, then started to back up, motioning for us to follow him.

We made it to the back of the building, and seen a large van sitting, waiting for us. Brendon pulled out a key, and unlocked the van, looking at us, as if expecting us to get in as well.

"Well? Get in." He said, looking at us frustatedly.

"You expect us...to get in that?" Rae asked, raising a questioning brow.

"Come on, this is the only thing to fit all of you in here without raising suspicion. Now, get in, or we're all toast." Brendon huffed, so finally, we did get in, although some of preferred to fly.

I sat in the back with Midnight, and Patrick sat next to me, while Pete and Rae had a seat to themselves, and Joe and Andy had another. I guess we were waiting for Hayley, and when she finally came out, she had computers in her arms. I rose a brow, suspisious. Brendon must have noticed, because he said,

"That's what we used to track Thomas and the other Hunters. You didn't think we came unprepared, did you?" He asked smirking, as if he was proud of himself.

I rolled my eyes, and leaned against Patrick's shoulder, who wrapped an arm around my shoulder, and kissed the top of my head. I closed my eyes as the  van left the parking lot, sleeping till we got to where we apparently had to go so we weren't killed by Hunters so soon. I guess Brendon and Hayley had some faith in us.

<<Four hours later>>

I was gently shaken awake by Patrick, who was smiling down at me, and kissed my cheek.

"We're here. Though, I'm not sure how you'll like it." He said, chuckling.

I sat up, because apparently in my sleep I laid on Patrick's lap with Midnight laying near my chest, and looked around, seeing we were in the woods, and noticed a Cabin sitting infront of us. I smiled, happy that I can actually Shift here without getting caught by Humans in the City. Just to humor myself I said,

"I guess this will work." Earning a pair eyes rolling at me from Patrick.

"Your worse than Pete." He teased as he got out of the Van, and helped me out, seeing that I was carrying Midnight as well.

I chuckled and looked around fully. There was a large patch of an empty field close to us so we wouldn't catch our wings on Tree branches as we landed from stretching our wings. Another thing you should know about us Dragons, is that if we don't stretch our wings every so often, we will be very pissed, and sometimes Snap at others, literally; I've seen it happen a couple times, or start brawls, weither they're human or Dragon.

Patrick's P.O.V

I watched as Stella looked around happily, a smile stitched perminately onto her face, and I couldn't help to smile as well. Just seeing my mate-. My mate. I thought over it a couple times, until my smile got wider, and closed my eyes. My mate. I finally have a Mate, and I just wanted to shift and roar with joy. I can finally call someone my own, and not be afraid she'll leave me. Opening my eyes again, I noticed Brendon walk up to us with a purplish bow and a quiver of arrows. Narrowing my eyes at him, I wondered why he would try and kill us already after we had made a deal just last night.

"Calm down, Patrick. I'm just handing these to your mate." He said rolling his eyes, seeing my expression.

Stella turned to Brendon, and eyed the bow.

"What is this for?" She asked confused.

"Well, your all going to need a weapon, since I thought, if you couldn't shift if you got hit pretty badly. You had a second go-to plan." Brendon said shrugging, and handed the weapon to her.

"Glad I took archery when I was younger." She said, sighing as she pulled the string back, and shot an arrow directly into the middle of a tree trunk.

I rose a brow, impressed. Hunter's are going to have to look out for my mate when she has that bow in her hand, I thought smugly, a smirk playing at my lips at the thought.
