Nighty-Night Patrick
Stella's P.O.V
We landed on the roof of the Hotel, as I gently sat Patrick on the rocks. I looked at the others, and watched Rae climb down off of Joe's back, so he could shift to his human form, and Joe got Pete off of Andy's back, so that Andy could shift to his human form. I shifted to my human form, and kneeled down beside Patrick, brushing some of his hair out of his face gently. Rae walked over, and kneeled next to me.
"The guys are gonna take Pete in, I've got to help them with the door. Will you be alright up here with Patrick for a bit?" She asked.
I nodded and smiled softly.
"Yeah, I'll be alright up here. Go ahead and help Joe and Andy with Pete." I said, looking at the two over my shoulder.
Rae nodded, and walked over to the two, who started arguing. I chuckled, then looked back down at Patrick. I sat my hand gently on his cheek, and rubbed my thumb gently. I guess he liked it because he turned his head into my hand, and nuzzled it. I giggled, and said,
"Your nothing more than a giant kitty."
The response was him humming, which actually sounded like he was purring. God, he is like a giant cat.
"You are a giant kitty, 'Rick, but your my giant kitty." I said, and kissed his nose gently.
Andy's P.O.V
I laid Pete on the bed, and headed up to the roof to hear some sort of purring. I looked around to see Stella giggling at a still unconsious Patrick. I stayed silent, and watched Stella, listening to her.
"You are a giant kitty 'Rick, but your my giant kitty." She said, and I smiled, as she kissed his nose. I think her and Patrick should be glad that I'm the one up here watching this, Pete would probably make fun of her for it.
I walked up to them, and cleared my throat, chuckling when Stella jumped.
"Calm down, It's just me Stell." I said, and looked at Patrick with a confused look when I heard him growl.
"He reacted the same way with Brendon when he called me that." Stella said, rubbing his cheek with her thumb, calming him down. It didn't take long for the purring to start back up.
I chuckled, and looked at Stella. She has no idea what kind of power she holds over him, he would move the moon and stars to make her happy. I then looked down at Patrick, and sighed,
" I need to pick him up." I said, looking at Stella.
"Why?" She snapped, and I could hear a growl in her tone.
I looked down at Patrick, and and could've swore I saw a smirk playing on his lips. These two were meant to be, alright. I chuckled at Stella.
"To take him to the room." I said, leaning down and picked him up.
I headed towards the fire escape, Stella behind me, and opened the door. I looked over my shoulder to look at Stella, and almost dropped Patrick seeing Hayley pressing a gun to Stella's head, hand over her mouth. I turned towards Hayley slowly, eyes narrowed.
"You don't have to do this, Hayley. There's always a way out of this." I said calmly.
Hayley let out a cackle, walking backwards as a Helecopter came up from the side of the building, behind her.
" 'I don't have to do this'? I have every right to do this. Your kind killed my Grandfather during a hunting Mission. It's about time I got revenge, and I think giving this one to the Boss, can help start it." Hayley saud, turning and running towards the Helecopter, and handed Stella to a Hunter inside, then climbed in herself.
Hayley looked at me, smiled innocently, and waved at me, as the Helecopter took off. I growled, but noticed a strange symbol on its side. It was the Hazard sign, with a Dragoneye in the middle. I looked down at Patrick, and sighed. He's going to kill me. Walking into the room, Rae looked up at me with a smile, then frowned.
"Where's Stella?" She asked as Midnight sat in her lap.
I looked away, kicking the door shut, then made my over to Patrick's bed, laying him down, and went to the couch to sit. I heard Rae get up, and walk over to me. I looked at her, and noticed her glaring.
"Andrew Hurley, tell me where my Best Friend is." She said sharply.
I looked over at Joe, and sighed.
"Hayley took her." I said looking down, hearing Rae take a sharp breath.
"Why didn't you go after them?" Rae whispered.
"Stella would have told me to get Patrick inside. Just the same, Hayley had a gun at her head, and I don't think Patrick would have been happy about that." I growled, then sighed, looking over at Patrick.
"What are we going to tell Patrick?" Joe asked, from his chair.
"The truth." I sighed, looking at the two.
Rae looked at Pete, and sighed.
"How long are those two going to be asleep?" She asked.
"Patrick, the rest of the night. Pete, probably tonight and part of tomorrow." I estimated with a shrug.
Rae nodded, then looked at me with a confused look.
"There's more than the fact Hayley took Stella, isn't there." She asked.
I sighed, nodding, and told her about the symbol on the side of the Helecopter.
Rae listened intently, then sighed, and looked down.
"I hope Stella's alright, wherever she is." She spoke softly.
I nodded. "For everyone's sake, so do I." I muttered, looking at Patrick.
Stella's P.O.V
I sat, with my arms chained to a brick wall, glaring at the unknown man in front of me, blood trinkling down from a cut on my forehead, making its way down My cheek from his brutes.
"I'm not letting you get my friends." I said lowly. "Your not hurting them."
The man chuckled, saying,
"You shouldn't worry about me harming them, but your mate... Well, if he can still think straight that is."
"What did you do to him?!?" I yelled, pulling on the chains.
I could hear him practically smirking when he said,
"That wasn't an ordinary sleeping dart that he was hit with tonight. It was mixed with a formula."
"What does it do?" I hissed out.
It makes a dragon very angry when they don't see their mate," The man said, but continued, snapping his fingers, and the cell gate opened, letting his brutes in, "Now, play nice, all of you." The man finished, chuckling darkly as I was punched in the face, everything going black.
