38 - Grandson?!?
Lucious Malfoy was actually quite nervous. His wife, Narcissa, had told him about Draco's relationship with Harry Potter. He honestly didn't want to believe it but when he received the letter from Draco he knew it was true. Why else would a Malfoy choose to spend the entire Christmas holidays with a Weasley.
Lucious was so angsty and nervous that they had to actually leave sooner than they planned. Narcissa honestly just wanted him to stop pacing. It was a complete surprise when Lucious saw how happy Draco seemed. It honestly hurt Lucious a little when Draco's attitude and demeanor changed.
Even though Harry literally pounced on Draco, Lucious was still taken aback. He was proud of Draco not forgetting his manners and proud that Draco seemed to have a genuine relationship with Harry. He was worried for his son because he figured a simple name shouldn't be enough to steal Harry's attention.
"Lucious you shouldn't frown so much."
Lucious rolled his eyes. "Molly, you shouldn't be wanting your house to be full of people."
Molly shrugged. "You're going to have the same issue sooner than you think. Just be careful."
"What rubbish are you talking about now?" Lucious frowned.
Before Molly Weasley had the chance to respond the room started to fill. Ron and Hermione walked in arguing over something while Blaise and Draco trailed behind them. Draco broke away from the group and disappeared up a flight of stairs.
"I didn't realize you were here too, Zabini." Lucious frowned.
"Mr Malfoy. Mrs Malfoy. Nice to see you again. I'm sure Draco is more excited to have you here than he seems." Blaise grinned.
They each took a seat around the table. Lucious shouldn't have been surprised but he was. He actually complimented Molly on the size of the feast and the table. It was such a rare thing that it even managed to surprise Narcissa. A few minutes later Arthur Weasley joined the group. Greetings and pleasantries were exchanged between everyone as they got ready to eat.
"Are we not waiting for Draco and Harry Potter?" Narcissa asked.
"I'm right here mother. Harry might not be joining us. I'll take some food to him later." Draco added and sat down next to Blaise. "We don't have to wait."
Lucious frowned and so did Narcissa. They both refused to get started without Harry. After a few minutes of silence Draco sighed and stood up. He didn't get the chance to leave when Harry rounded the corner. Without a word Harry sat down and shifted Scorpious in his lap.
Draco took his seat again after kissing Harry's forehead. The action had become so common for him that he no longer realized when he was doing it. Harry gave Draco a small smile and entwined their hands together. Arthur said grace and everyone else carried on like normal. Everyone except Narcissa and Lucious who were currently staring at Harry and the baby.
"And who's baby is that?" Lucious eventually asked.
Draco suddenly froze and stared at his father. He had honestly almost forgotten that his parents didn't know about Scorpious. He was beginning to feel afraid that they might be disappointed.
"Your grandson." Harry shrugged and continued to eat.
"Harry!" Draco almost yelled. "You can't just say something like that. I haven't even said anything about... That."
"Well they were going to find out eventually." Harry frowned. "Besides, what was I supposed to say?"
Draco groaned and slapped his palm to his face. "Nothing. You were supposed to say nothing, Harry. Merlin, you're difficult."
"Grandson?" Narcissa finally asked. "But... Draco, did you cheat on Harry Potter with some girl? Is that why you were so distant?"
Draco wasn't exactly surprised by his mother taking Harry's side. Of course she would think something like that. Draco sighed and shook his head. This conversation was not starting off in the right direction.
"I mean he could have but that's not..."
"Harry! Don't make me..."
"Okay fine. I'll be quiet." Harry huffed and turned his attention to his food again.
"What has gotten into you?" Draco frowned.
Harry shrugged but didn't respond. Harry was desperate to not be hated by Draco's parents. So much so that he was actively trying not to be seen as highly dependent on Draco. He was even trying to act like he wasn't phased by it all.
Draco sighed and gently squeezed Harry's hand. "Remember that potion accident I told you about? Well, Harry was the one who was affected by it and that's how we sort of ended up together. In the process of everything Harry gained a creature inheritance. A Neko submissive and basically he can get pregnant. So no, mother, I didn't cheat on Harry with anyone. The reason I was so depressed and distant was because I knew Harry was still probably pregnant with my kid and I didn't know what to do. Anyway this little guy is Scorpious and he's mine and Harry's kid. He's your grandson."
"Grandson?" Lucious repeated. "You mean to tell me that I am a grandfather? Are you serious?"
"Yes."
"I've got a grand baby!" Narcissa grinned. "And he is so cute!"
"Hon. Contain your excitement please." Lucious sighed. "We will talk about this later, Draco."
Draco nodded his head. He pretty much left it at that and started to eat. His attention shifted to Harry when Harry pulled his hand away. The small frown on Draco's face made Narcissa look at Harry. It didn't seem like anything was wrong. At least from an outside perspective. Draco could tell something was wrong because his arm had randomly started to itch.
"Harry?"
"I'm going to take Scorpious for a walk. Excuse me." Harry stood up and left without another word.
"Fuck." Draco sighed.
"Language." Both Narcissa and Lucious frowned at Draco.
Draco frowned back at his parents and left. Not knowing what was bothering Harry was making Draco nervous. The rest of the group were left staring at each other.
"So who wants to follow them?" Blaise smirked.
"Zabini, that's not right." Hermione huffed.
"It is interesting though." Ron shrugged and stood up. "Besides, if Draco hurts him I'm going to be there."
Blaise stood up and the two of them were quickly followed by the rest. They all had their reasons to be curious about what they just witnessed. Luckily for them it didn't take very long to find both Harry and Draco. They hadn't actually gone very far.
"Harry, answer me."
"They're your parents, Dray." Harry shook his head and sighed. "They raised you. You know exactly what it is they expect. I don't want them thinking badly of me."
"Harry..."
"No! You don't understand." Harry yelled.
"I do understand, Kitten." Draco sighed.
Harry shook his head. "Scorpious could be like me and then what are they going to do? I don't want to hate myself anymore."
Much to everyone's surprise it wasn't Draco who attempted to comfort Harry. In fact it was Lucious Malfoy who stepped away from the group and drew all the attention.
"Mr Potter, whatever reason you have for believing we will not approve is invalid. I've seen that Draco truly cares about you and is genuinely in love with you. That's enough of a reason for me to accept you into my family." Lucious shrugged slightly.
"That's total crap." Harry huffed. "You can't even prove it."
"But I can definitely prove it." Blaise stepped forward.
"Blaise don't do it." Draco pleaded.
Blaise smirked and shrugged. "Harry is a Neko submissive which means he is bound to his dominant no matter what. To add to it he is also an unregistered Little. Draco is his dominant and also his legal caregiver. This proves it all."
Draco clenched his jaw and balled his fists as Blaise handed a piece of paper to his father. He almost marched over to Blaise and punched him. Almost because the second Blaise mentioned Harry being a Little, Harry whimpered and hid behind Draco. Harry had already regressed beforehand and this wasn't doing any favours to his situation.
"Okay." Lucious raised an eyebrow and shrugged.
Draco's anger quickly turned into surprise. "Wait. What?"
Lucious raised an eyebrow. "Okay. As long as you know how to treat him I see no problem. Scorpious will always be my grandson and I will always treat him as such. Even if he turns out to be a Little. He has a father who knows how to deal with the situation and a father who understands what it is like. He also has two grandparents who will spoil him."
Draco sighed and shook his head. "You're not going to buy my son's love, father. You and mother are not allowed to spoil him."
Harry giggled. He stepped around Draco and placed Scorpious in his arms. Harry then ran up to Lucious and jumped onto him. Draco tried not to laugh but he couldn't hide the huge smile on his face. Lucious was confused about what was happening at that moment.
"You asked for it." Draco shrugged at his father.
"No I didn't." Lucious complained.
"Yes you did. The second you said you were okay with Harry being a Little. Get used to it father because Scorpious will probably do that too. He is your grandson after all. Plus he is actually still a kid." Draco smiled.
