• (Sting's POV) •

I have to go out today, my stupid 'mother' wants to talk to me about my future. Fuunnn.

I've no choice but to leave Lucy here, but I know that Natsu is out there somewhere, and he's gonna find her.

He probably already has.

I've left Loke here as Lucy's personal bodyguard, and I've told him to stay by her side until I get back. I can't risk anything.

And I still need to speak with her about the other night...

"Master Sting! Are you ready to leave!?" One of the maids yelled.
"Yes yes I'm coming." I yelled, walking swiftly down the stairs. At the bottom, waiting for me, was Lucy.

"Do I really need to have a bodyguard follow me round our own house?" She asks with pleading eyes.
"I'll miss you too." I replied sarcastically. She scoffed and looked away.

"Have a safe journey." She mumbled. I stopped and walked closer.
"Is that all I get?" I smirked, snaking my arms around her waist. "I'm your husband, you know."

She still won't look at me.

"Lucy." I said bluntly. She ignored me. As always.
"Look at me Lucy." I raised my voice, and she turned to look me in the eye.

"That's a lot better." I smiled, stroking her cheek with my index finger. I then leant in and swiftly kissed her forehead.
"I'll miss you~" I smiled, turning to walk away.

No reply. I guess nothing's changed then.

I walked off out the door, but then something caught my eye. No, someone. My maid. She had short, white hair and fringes framing her face, sparkling brown eyes and a beautiful smile.

"S-sir?" She mumbled. "I-is everything alright?" I snapped out of my daze and smiled.
"Y-yes, I'm fine... umm...."
"Yukino Agria, sir." She informed.

Yukino. That's a nice name.

• (Lucy's POV) •

"You know Loke," I began. "You don't have to go through all this trouble, I'll be fine."
"Sorry Miss Lucy, it's Master Sting's orders." He sighed.

"Hey, don't you work for my mother?" I asked.
"Well, she hired me, yes." He began. "But I was ordered to wait on you, Lucy. That also means that when you marry, I will follow you."
"I see." I sighed. "Is it the same with Virgo?"
"Yes, it is." He replied.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. But not any old knock. The same knock I'd heard for years, and the same one that I heard before my wedding.

Natsu's here.

"I'll get it." Loke walked over to the door.

No.

BAKA!

Why did he knock on the front door!?!!?

But just as Loke was about to touch the handle, it clicked.

He's not that stupid. He knows what he's doing.

It's a distraction.

At that moment I turned for the stairs and ran as fast as I could to my bedroom.
"Miss Luc- HEY! M-Miss Lucy!" Loke yelled, beginning to chase after me.

I have to keep going. Go faster.

I got to my room and slammed the door shut, locking it with my key. Letting it a sigh of relief, I slid down the door to sit on the floor.

"Miss Lucy!" Loke yelled, banging on the door. "Please open the door!"

I then heard the same knock again in my window, so I stood up and walked over, opening the window.

There he was: Tanned skin; pink hair; toothy grin.

My Natsu~

He jumped through the window and enveloped me in a tight bear hug, which I gladly returned.
"Luce~" He whispered. "I missed you so much."
"I-I missed you too Natsu." I cried, tears spelling down my face.

I never wanted to let go. This hug felt so warm, so comforting, filled with so much love; like snuggling down next to a heater in your favourite pyjamas.

"Miss Lucy Eucliffe please open the door at once or I'll be forced to break it down myself!" Loke yelled.

Lucy Eucliffe. Sounds awful.

"Lucy Eucliffe?" Natsu smirked. "That name really doesn't suit you."
"Tell me about it." I sighed.

"One~" Loke yelled. "Two~"
"Get under the bed quick!" I whisper-yelled, as we broke the hug and he slid under my bed.
"Three!" And with that, my door came crashing down.

"Loke, what on earth was that for?" I asked, sitting down on my bed.
"I heard a voice that wasn't yours come from this room." He said. "Where is he?"

"I think you must've hit your head Loke." I sighed, standing up and walking over. "Me and you are the only people here."

"Please don't lie Miss Lucy." He sighed. "I know I heard him."
"Heard who?" I asked with a reassuring smile on my face.

There was a silence, as if it were a sin to say his name.
"Natsu." He finally said.
"Loke, I'm going to take you to the nurses room, okay?" I walked him out the room.

When I returned, having ditched Loke at the nurses room, I found Natsu lying on my bed, smirking at me.
"Nice excuse." He smirked. I smiled and jumped onto the bed next to him, snuggling into his arms.

"Woah, careful there." He smiled, and I just laughed.
"Don't worry, I'm all good." I smiled.

"How have you been, by the way?" He asked.
"Oh it's alright, nothing I can't deal with." I sighed.
"Does he know?" His voice became more serious.

"Well, I didn't exactly tell hi-"
"So you're telling me he doesn't know!?" He raised his voice a little, and I shook my head.
"No, I'm pretty sure he does, although he was a little drunk, so I don't know if he remembers."

He sighed, but then rolled over so he was on top of me.
"Oh well, at least I get to see you again." He smiled, leaning in close before kissing me gently on the lips.

This, this is what heaven feels like.
