• (Lucy's POV) •

"Loke!" I cried, running over towards him. He turned around looking shocked, as I ran into him, grabbing onto his shirt and crying into his shoulder.

"M-Miss Lucy, what's wrong?" He asked me, awkwardly patting my back. I was about to reply, until I was interrupted.

"Loke! What's wrong with my Lucy?" I heard a voice ask. Wait, I know who that is....

"Sting!" I yelled out in anger, letting go of Loke and stomping over to him. "Don't put an anti-dragon spell in the arena!!"

There was a silence, and I saw Sting look at Loke.
"Loke, you may go." He said bluntly.
"Yes Master." Loke nodded, walking away.

"Lucy, let me explai-" I cut Sting off.
"What's to explain!? I know exactly what you're planning!" I screamed, furious at him.

"You're gonna kill Natsu, aren't you!?" I spat, glaring at him with disgust. He sighed at me, then grabbed my shoulders, staring me in the eye.

"It's for your own good."

"What do you mean by that!?" I yelled. "It's not good to kill the people you love!"
"You're not in love with him, Lucy." He said to me.

"What!?" I retorted. "I'm pretty sure I know who I'm in love with."
"No Lucy, he's hypnotised you." Sting spoke to me as if I were mentally ill. "When he dies, you'll come to your senses."

I can't believe this. The shit he's spitting out of his mouth.

"I think I'm coming to my senses already," I looked up at him, tears spelling down my face. "The one that deserves to die is you, Sting." I spat out my words as if they were venom.

"H-Hey, you don't mean that." He stuttered. "Just trust me when I say that he's hypnot-" I interrupted him.

"You've changed." I blurted out. "Ever since the day of the proposal, you've been acting differently."

"Like you're a completely different person."

Then I walked off, leaving him standing there.

I have to find Natsu. Fast.

• (Natsu's POV) •

"Let go of me!" I yelled, struggling to free myself from the grip of the guards. They'd put some anti-dragon handcuffs on me, so every time I move I get zapped with electricity.

It hurts like fuck, but I need to find Luce.

"Hey Dragneel." I looked up and saw Sting sauntering over.
"What!?" I spat.
"Ready to die?" He smiled.

"If you wanted to kill me, why didn't you just kill me in the dungeons?" I taunted, never taking my eyes away. "Too scared?"

I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen, and realised that Sting kicked me.
"I'm not the one killing you idiot." He laughed. "It'll be him."

He pointed to his left, and I followed his finger to see he was pointing at a cage.
"See," I muttered. "Your too scared to do it yourself, so you're letting an animal do the dirty work for you."

"Enjoy yourself while you can Dragneel," He smirked sinisterly. "You haven't got long left." He began to walk away, but suddenly stopped in his tracks.
"Oh yeah, when you're dead," He began..

"I can do whatever I want with Lucy."

"Like hell you will!" I screamed, running towards him. That is, until I was shocked by the handcuffs.
"What you gonna do?" Sting smirked.

"Why don't you just take the handcuffs off me and fight like a real dragon would!" I yelled at him, heading towards him once again.

He laughed at me.
"That wouldn't be any fun, would it?" He laughed, walking away.

"Look out for 'Luce' while you're being eaten to death, will you?" He laughed, before leaving.

Luce. I won't leave you. Not yet.

• (Lucy's POV) •

I've looked everywhere, and I can't find Natsu. The guards won't let me leave the grounds surrounding the arena, which I'm guessing is Sting's work.

"Miss Lucy." I turned around to see Loke. "You're wanted at the entrance."
"What is it?" I asked him.
"You need to welcome the guests. Master Sting's orders."

Of course. He has to make it such a big event doesn't he.

"I'll be there in a bit." I sighed, turning back around to look at the sky. I'm so sorry Natsu. Im sorry I can't save you. I wonder if Igneel knows about this....

Wait. IGNEEL!

"Loke!" I yelled, swiftly turning to face him. "Do you know how to get to the dragon's realm!?"
"I do, why?" He asked.

"I need you to go and inform Igneel about this. Tell Igneel that his son, the heir to the dragon realm, is going to be killed here."

"I'm sorry Miss Lucy, but I-" I cut him off.
"That is an order from me, Loke." I bellowed. "If you disobey me, I'll have no choice but to put you out on the streets."

There was a silence, until Loke sighed.

"You love him that much?" He asked.
"Please Loke, this may be our last and only chance of keeping Natsu alive." I begged. He walked up behind me, looking up at the sky with me.

"I'm going to get fired for this." He sighed.
"Thank you so much." I smiled, hugging me tight. "I'll be in your dept forever."

"Miss Lucy, just don't tell anyone where I'm going." He told me. I nodded, before walking off towards the entrance.

Time to show Sting who's boss.

Once I'd welcomed everyone in, I made my way up to my allocated seat in the arena. There are special seats me and Sting sit in...

The ones with the best view.

I'd also met Levy for the first time in a while, and I told her what's going on. I didn't tell her about Igneel though, I haven't told anyone.

I asked around some more, and found out that the anti-dragon spell placed on the arena can be turned on and off with the press of a special button.

That button, is in the possession of Sting, and I need to get it.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please take your seats." A voice bellowed around the arena. My guess is the use of magic. I sat down in my place, waiting patiently. I will get that button, and I will save Natsu.

I watched silently as Sting walked up to the edge of the small balcony we were sat on.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you all so much for coming. Today, we are about to witness a point in history that will never be forgotten. For years, dragons have created havoc in our realm, and today it is time for revenge!"

I felt a tear run down the side of my cheek, but I kept watching silently. Then I saw it. The button. It's in his hand.

A gate leading in to the arena slowly opened, and I watched as a familiar, pink haired dragon stumbled in. Natsu! He's hurt.

"What you see here is the heir to the dragon realm, the infamous Natsu Dragneel, and today is the day he will die!" Sting yelled. I couldn't see Sting's face, but I watched Natsu look up at him and scowl.

"But this isn't going to be a dull execution," Sting continued. "He is going to battle the evil demons summoned from the Tartarus realm itself!"

What is he doing!? If those demons escape we're all doomed.

"And now, ladies and gentlemen..." I stopped listening and began to think. I couldn't listen to him anymore.

Wait. The anti-dragon spell. Sting's a dragon too! That must mean...

Sting pressed the button, causing Natsu to collapse on the floor. I felt sick, my stomach began to churn and ache. How on earth could Sting do something as awful as this!?

But, Sting didn't flinch.

"Sting!" I yelled out, causing him to turn round and face me.
"What's the matter?" He asked.
"You're a dragon, why aren't you collapsing from pain?" I questioned, standing up. I saw a look of shock cover his face.

But it then turned to a smirk.

"It looks like you've caught me out." He smirked at me. "I was going to tell you, but it seems I'd made a mistake when planning this."
"What do you mean?" I asked him, confused. I scanned his face, reading his facial expression, when I noticed something. His scar is missing.

"It's me Lucy, the real Sting."
