The group became surrounded by a small group of men in fancy suits. The young Shinobi took up a fighting stance until one of the men bowed and presented a letter.

Man: Congratulations, Mister Uzamaki, you have won an all-expense paid a visit to "Club Sunshine".

Kiryu: I didn't sign up to get anything like that.

Man: We randomly picked a person in the village.

Neji: This is clearly a trap.

Sakura: Let's keep going.

Kiryu: Hmph.

Man: There will be free karaoke and ramen.

Kiryu:....

Man: You can bring as many guests as you want.

Kiryu:...

(Later...)

Sakura: I can't believe we came...

Kiba: I'm glad we came!

Choji: Yeah, this place is cool!

Having entered a massive club in the hidden leaf, the team is guided to seats near a stage. Most of them were on edge.

This feeling worsened as the lights went out. Then it lightened when music started to play.

???: That's why they call me Mad Dog~. I'm Back!

But then the spotlight shined and they heard the voice.

Everyone:?!!!!

Majima: I murder a rhyme, one word at a time. You never heard of a mind as perverted as mine
You better get rid of that knife, it ain't gonna help!

He dodged several Kunai whilst continuing to dodge.

Kiryu: Wait!

Majima: Hahaha! Did ya miss me!?!

Kiryu: Majima, what are you doing here?

Majima: Gaara of the Dessert, remember him? Well... someone is planning to kill him.

Kiryu: Gaara?

Majima: Better go save him... Kiryu-chan~!

Majima: Because if I get there first... I'mma kill him before anyone else.

The Genjutsu faded and the group found themselves in the woods and the men that invited them.

Everyone:?!

Shikamaru: Incredible... he managed to inflict Genjutsu on us from afar...?

Kiryu:...

Ino: He's... really changed a lot.

Kiryu: Gaara is in trouble. Sakura, let's go.

Sakura: We need to report this first to Lady Tsunade first.

Kiryu: Tch. Let's make it quick.

Kiryu leaves, followed quickly by Sakura before she could face the anger of Tsunade being called "Granny".

Together, they meet up with Kakashi, and the trio leave the Hidden Leaf, racing through tree tops and all kinds of terrain towards the Hidden Sand village.

Kakashi: We don't want to start an incident. We have no proof Majima told you the truth.

Majima: You think I would lie?!

Joining the his old team, Majima surprises the trio, yet they all continue to race towards Gaara.

Kiryu/Sakura/Kakashi: Majima?!

Kakashi:(mind) His stealth has improved drastically. I couldn't sense him at all...

Majima:(smirks) Kakashi-sensei, don't you trust me?

Kakashi: What are you doing here Majima?

Majima: Helping you?

Kakashi: Why?

Majima: I literally told you on day one my goals, and you can't put two and two together?

Majima: My god! We were taught by an idiot! No wonder we're so stupid...

Kakashi: Itach...

Majima: There you go... My brother is part of the Akatsuki. Thus there's a chance he'll be the one out to get mister insomniac.

Sakura: So that means you aren't an enemy. You're on our side!

Majima: Don't get ahead of yourself... Our goals are currently aligned.

Majima: I need you losers to take on any obstacle in the way of me and my "dear" brother.

Kiryu: And once you're done, you're coming back with us.

Kiryu: I wasn't suggesting.

Majima:(giggles)

Kiryu: If it's what it'll take to bring you back.

Sand, everywhere. Team 7 arrived in the hidden sand, and made their way to the Kazekage's base within the village.

Kakashi: Majima, if you're going to join us, you aren't to leave our sight.

Majima: Yeah, sure, whatever-

Several ninjas surround and hold kunai at Majima's neck.

Majima: How welcoming...

Kiryu: Oi! Back off, he's with us!

???: I know he was your teammate, but he's a wanted criminal.

Gaara's sister of the sand arrives upon the scene in front of the Kazekage's headquarters.

Temari: Why is he even with you?

Majima: I had a change of heart. I get them like heartbeats! Hehe...

Sakura: Majima! Now isn't the time!

Kakashi: Our goals are currently aligned. Once we secure the Kazekage's safety, we can put him in custody.

Temari: I'm afraid you're too late... Gaara has been kidnapped...

Kiryu: What?!

Temari: He was ambushed at his cactus farm... Two people in black cloaks with red clouds.

Majima:(smirks) The Akatsuki... They work in pairs.

Temari: I see...

Kiryu: Do we know where he might be?

Temari: Our best trackers are on the case, but have come up short so far...

Temari: Kankuro was with Gaara, he might know something but was poisoned.

Temari: I don't know if he'll make it.

Sakura: Please, let me take a look at him. I was trained in medicine by Lady Tsunade herself.

Temari:(gestures to guard)

Temari: It's not like you can make things worse. Please do your best.

Sakura: I will.

Kiryu:(whispers) Why would she try her worse?

Majima:(whispers) I know, right? And is Sakura a doctor now?

Kiryu:(whispers) I don't know. Why? Need her to fix your pink eye?

Majima:(whispers) Pink eye?! The hell... I don't have that!

Kiryu:(whispers) Sorry, I just assumed...

Majima:(whispers) That I shoved shit in my eye? My magic fucking eye that makes me better than everyone?

Kiryu:(whispers) Then what's with the eye patch?

Majima:(whispers) It's a secret!

Temari: Eh-hem!

Kiryu: Right.

Kakashi: Please show us the sight of the attack, perhaps we can find something you couldn't.

Temari: Follow me.

Majima: Yo, call off these guards before I kill them.

She snaps her fingers, and the ninja step back.

Temari: He's your responsibility. I'm only trusting you because you're Gaara's friend.

Kiryu: Thanks. He won't be a problem.

The boys are led to the cactus farm. Many of the cacti were destroyed, a sign that there was some kind of struggle.

Kakashi immediately summoned a dog to sniff around.

Kiryu and Majima began investigating the old fashion way.

With their eyes.

Kiryu: Hmmm...

Majima:...

Kiryu: Hmmm?

Majima:(looks around)

Kiryu:(picks up cactus) Hmmm...

Majima: Well?

Kiryu: Sand...

Majima:(gasp)!?!

Majima: Sand?! In the dessert!? My God! You cracked this case wide open Kiryu-chan! You magnificent bastard!

Kiryu: Thank you. I almost missed it, but it quickly became obvious once I realized the Akatsuki wouldn't probably noticed sand in the dessert.

Majima: Oh shit, you actually figure something out?

Kiryu: Some of this sand isn't like the rest. There are grains infused with chakra...

Kiryu: Chakra that's reacting with the dragon within me...

Majima: Hehehe... I see.

Kakashi: It makes sense. When the Kazekage and Kiryu first met, they was a pull that left them glaring at each other.

Kakashi:(whistles)

His dog arrives and smells the sand in Kiryu's hand. With the chakra scent caught, it begins dashing away to lead the group.

Popping a Shadow clone to report to Temari, Kakashi takes the lead.

Kakashi: We must hurry before it's too late.

Kiryu: You don't have to tell me twice!

Majima: Let's go already!

(Elsewhere....)

Two men, in black cloaks with orange clouds watched a third one of their members summon a large statue within the caver they were in.

(Demonic Statue of the Outer path)

One of them sat upon the sealed body of Gaara, as the other stood stoically. The third one then performed hand signs which began the process of draining the Legendary beast within Gaara.

A flow of chakra from Gaara seeped out from his cocoon seal and into the statue.

???: So how long is this going to take?

??? 2: To not make a scene. It'll be completed in a few hours.

???:...

???: You're kidding. Right?

??? 3: No.

The third member makes his leave.

??? 3: Do not fail.

???: Hmph. How the hell can we screw this up? It's just a waiting game at this point...

???: There isn't anyone who can stop us now.

Snake: Sssss...

A snake watched the Akatsuki members grow confident in their victory, but as the white snake's ego grew, it too failed to noticed someone watching it.
