It rained heavily.

Kiryu panted, tired yet accomplished. He had done it after pulling all nighters the last few days. Yamato, who was the only one currently with Kiryu walked up and congratulated the young ninja.

Holding out his hand, Yamato watched as Kiryu pulled himself together to properly shake.

Yamato: Congratulations. You've done something truly impressive.

Kiryu: Thanks. You helped a lot.

Yamato: Perhaps, but your success is yours alone.

Kiryu:(nods)

With his jacket hanging on his arm, Kiryu made his way back to the village to find a less than happy mood.

Kiryu:(mind) Everyone seems upset... Then again, that's everyone's reaction to me.

Haruka: Hi.

Kiryu:!?

Turning around, Kiryu found the young white haired girl, Haruka.

Kiryu: Haruka? Where did you come from...

She avoids his gaze, staying silent as Kiryu awaits for an answer, but upon not getting one, spoke up.

Kiryu: Its raining heavily. Follow me, there's a ramen joint not too far away.

Kiryu: We can dry up and eat.

Haruka:!

Haruka:... O-okay...

Grabbing his hand, Haruka follows Kiryu to his famous ramen place. The owner Teuchi and his daughter Ayame quickly took notice of the girl with Kiryu.

Ayame: Who's this?

Kiryu: Haruka. She's an orphan.

Teuchi: Oh...

Kiryu: I'll take the usual. Give Haruka whatever she wants.

Haruka: Can I have chicken ramen.

Ayame:(smiles) Of course you can sweetie.

Haruka:(smiles) Thank you.

Upon getting their ramen the two began eating, their appetites equally as large. The duo finished ten bowls in a short amount of time.

The ramen father and daughter for a second thought that they were looking at another father daughter pair.

Haruka:(burp)

Haruka: Thank you for the food.

Kiryu: Haruka, you have to say "excuse me" after burping.

Haruka: Why?

Kiryu: Otherwise you'll get smacked.

He spoke from experience. The others thought it was a threat.

Haruka: Oh. Okay, sorry.

Kiryu: It's fine. It took a while for me to learn that.

Ayame: A while is an understatement.... I honestly don't believe you fully mastered etiquette.

Kiryu: I've gotten better, haven't I?

Ayame:(smiles) I guess you can say you know the basics.

Ayame: Anyway... What's going to happen to little Haruka here?

Kiryu turns to look at Haruka, who looks back at him with not a care in the world.

Kiryu: What is it that you want, Haruka?

Haruka: What I want...?

(Splash)

With heavy steps in a puddle, Majima and Sakura arrive.

Sakura: Kiryu.

Kiryu:?

(Opening Theme)

Team 7 dashed across the village. Kiryu left Haruka in the care of the ramen girl and her father.

Kiryu: Asuma was killed by an Akatsuki?!

Sakura: Team 10 got Kakashi to go as their leader so they can get revenge, but two more Akatsuki were spotted.

Majima:(mind) Three Akatsuki... Itachi better be one of them!

Sakura: Lady Tsunade has sent us to back them up.

Kiryu: We'll take care of the two new Akatsuki members. The third one is Team 10's problem.

Sakura: We're supposed to support them-

Majima: We aren't getting in their way... And like hell we're going to let anyone else try to stop them.

Sakura: But-

Majima: Unless its Itachi, there won't be any acceptions.

Sakura:(sigh)... Once we're done with the two new threats, I'll go help team 10 with or without you idiots.

Team 10 with Kakashi were faced with three Akatsuki members and caught in between their drama.

Kakuzu: Hidan, you're a fool for coming alone.

Sasori: Perhaps we can't kill you... But making you a puppet isn't out of the question.

Hidan: I have no time to wait! My lord has asked me to redeem myself, so I must do just that!

Ino: What a nut case!

Hidan:(glares)

Ino:?

Hidan: Ah yes, I almost forgot all of you...

Kakashi prepares to raise his headband to use his Sharingan.

The rest of team 10 prepared to battle. Shikamaru had a plan for Hidan but these other Akatsuki members threw a wrench into that.

Kakuzu: Let's kill these four before we continue.

Ino:(whispers to Shikamaru)

Shikamaru: I see...

Shikamaru: Kakashi sensei. The three of us will handle Hidan.

Kakashi: Your team will take on those two, if it isn't too much.

Kakashi: My team?

Kiryu: "Meteor Rasengan"!!!

In Beast style, Kiryu held a large Rasengan that he smashed in between the Akatsuki members after being thrown by Sakura.

This large ball of Chakra caused Hidan, Kakuzu and Sasori to be blown away from each other.

But these were no push overs, the three quickly picked themselves up to find their opponents. Hidan had Team 10, who he began to chase into the forest. Sasori had Kakashi and Sakura.

Kakuzu had Kiryu and Majima, the latter having an upset expression.

Majima: Not here... Fuck this shit!

Walking over to the side, Majima sits on a rock.

Majima: I didn't train to fight these third class, rejected circus freaks of some fake-ass cult!

Majima: You do!

Kiryu:(cracks neck) Fine by me.

Sasori summons a small army of puppets for Kakashi and Sakura to fight.

Sakura:(smiles) Sorry we were late. We were lost in the gust of destiny.

Kakashi:....

Kakashi: How long were you waiting to use that?

Sakura: A while.

Kakashi: As long as you're happy with yourself.

Sakura: I am. I really am.

The two rush towards the army of puppets, Taijutsu-ing their way through. Their goal was to get to and disable Sasori.

A problem quickly appeared.

Sakura was the only one able to crack these puppets, yet neither's Taijutsu was enough to keep them down. Student and Teacher knew they would need to alter the plan ever so slightly, at least when it came to brawling puppets.

Back with Kiryu, his Beast style was powerful enough to push Kakuzu around.

This one on one quickly turned into a one versus five. As Kakuzu pulled off his shirt to reveal multiple masks on his body which came off and became these large shadow creatures.

Majima watched with interest as Kiryu continued to brawl, not bothered by these shadow monsters that each wielded a different elemental release.

Fighting, Kiryu sense a difference in how Kakuzu was fighting. His hits would either miss or fail to do damage. Majima however was able to see what was going on. Kakuzu's body was made out of these wires that allowed him to practically avoid most forms of damage.

Even though Majima could have said something. He decided to first pull out a cigarette and smoke.

Majima: You got this Kiryu-chan! I got... What's it called... Faith or some shit, I don't really care.

Majima; Just leave him alive for interrogation.

Majima:(blows smoke)

Majima: That cloud looks like a sheep.

Sasori watched with confidence that this fight of his would be one sided as he watched Sakura and Kakashi get knocked around by his puppets.

He then felt Sakura's fist collide into his face, cracking his puppet skin.

Sasori:!?

The Genjutsu faded, to reveal the truth of the situation.

Sakura was in front of him and Kakashi cut all the wires he needed to control the puppets.

Kakashi: Good job, Sakura-

Her fist flew into Kakashi's gut, knocking him back.

Kakashi:(grunts)

Sakura:!?!

Sasori: I never expected such powerful Genjutsu from you...

Sakura who had no control over body, flew towards Kakashi to continue attacking him.

Sasori: And if I was a normal person, perhaps that punch would have been enough to end things.

Sasori: Sadly for you... There's only one way to stop me.

Before Sakura striked Kakashi, she regained control over her body through brute strength alone.

Sakura: Well then... I guess I'll just break every part of your body until I find that one way!

Grabbing the strings Sasori had wrapped onto her, Sakura pulled the Akatsuki member to herself.

Sakura: "Danganchi"!

(POW)

Sasori:!?!

Majima:(yawn)

The fight with Kakuzu was going nowhere. Kiryu at this point was being pushed around for Kakuzu could heal from any wound and Kiryu's fatigue from just completing his training not fully faded.

But it was time to finish things.

Majima: Kiryu-chan! Do something cool! I'm getting bored!

Kiryu:...

Leaping back, Kiryu creates a Rasengan.

Kakuzu: Did you think I was going to let you finish making that jutsu!?

He and his beast tackle Kiryu, only for him to leap high into the sky whilst adding Wind Release to the Rasengan.

A high pitched whistling drew everyone's attention towards Kiryu.

Kiryu:(mind) The Rasengan... Adding a nature release... These are things that aren't truly mine.

He crushes the Rasengan, slowly, using his other hand to help. The sphere begins warping into a cylinder which stretches out in the only direction available.

Kiryu:(mind) But this, is how I turn the Rasengan... Into something so much more rad!

The Rasengan was now a blade-like object which Kiryu swung down as he fell towards Kakuzu.

Kiryu: "Rasan-Saber"!!

(BRRRRUSHHHHHH)

With a buzzing woosh, the blade went clean through Kakuzu. Upon landing, Kiryu spun to slash all these masked monsters around him, before striking Kakuzu once more.

....

The new Rasan-Saber dissipated.

Kiryu:...

Kiryu:(looks around)

Kiryu: Hmph. Thought that would be more explosive-

(PA-PA-PAOW)

Chakra without warning exploded from the victims of the Rasengan Saber. This explosion was bright and spat out with such fantastical might, the ground errupted.

Majima: Holy shit! That's wicked!

Majima rushed to the recently made hole in the ground to find Kiryu getting up with a struggle.

Majima: What the hell happened?!

Kiryu: I am not completely sure.

Kakashi and Sakura arrived with a limp Sasori to find Kiryu struggling to get up.

(In the forest)

Hidan chased Team 10 into the forest, his immortality making him ignorant to any trap they might have set up.

It would be his downfall.

Ino caught Hidan off guard and momentarily took possession of his body.

She made him run into the exact spot where he he would be wrapped in a paper bomb wire trap. Mummified in paper bombs, Choji enlarged his fist and smashed Hidan into a hole.

Hidan regained control of his body to find he still could not move thanks to Shikamaru's shadow.

Shikamaru:....

He looked down upon Hidan.

Hidan: Hehehe... You think any of this can stop me!?

Hidan: I can't die. Blow me up, I'll just put myself back together.

Shikamaru: And how will you do that when buried alive.

Hidan: Hm?

Ino and Choji walked up to either side of Shikamaru who pulled out a box of cigarettes, Asuma's last box of cigarettes.

Three were left, so team 10 each took one.

Shikamaru: Immortal you might be... But your body isn't anything impressive.

Ino: Blown to bits...

Choji: Under several tons of dirt.

Shikamaru: You'd be trapped. Under the watch of the forest.

(Ctch)

Lighting their cigarettes, Team 10 smoked in honor of their teacher, staying silent as Hidan blabbered on and on.

They did not care. It was physically impossible for them to.

Letting him shout and shout, as they appreciated their cigarettes.

But nothing lasts forever. With the buds almost burned out, the three held what remained of their cigarettes and together, flicked them into the hole.

Hidan:!?

(KA-BOOM-BOOM)

Igniting the paper bombs, Team 10 watched their masters killer be blown to bits, the explosion causing the hole to collapse and bury Hidan.

Shikamaru: Asuma sensei... It's over.

Team 10 left the forest to regroup with Team 7.

(Later....)

A funeral was held for Asuma. Everyone he knew and many more showed up to pay their respects. Kiryu and Majima were there as well, but stood a distance away from the ceremony, not believing their presence was necessary.

Kiryu: I should have been given a day.

Majima: Huh?

Kiryu: I was given a week to learn my new technique. If I was given a day-

Majima: Dumbass. If it was that easy, I would have long ago killed Itachi.

Majima: Shit like this happens. We're Ninjas after all.

Majima: Sucks, but there isn't anything we can do.

Kiryu: Tch!

Majima:...

Majima: At least he left satisfied.

Kiryu: Huh?

Majima: Team 8 foxy sensei. Seems like she's pregnant with his kid.

Kiryu: Hm? How do you know?

Majima: I can read lips. She just told Shikamaru.

Kiryu:....

Majima: Though... I guess that means Team 8 will be without a master soon.

Kiryu: Oh no, is Kakashi next?

Majima: To get pregnant? He's a guy, so not likely.

Kiryu: What a relief.

Majima: Then again... He can still make a brat! That's just begging fate to take him!

Kiryu: We must make sure he stays a vergin!

Majima: How do you- Who am I kidding. I've seen the books he reads. Let's go, funeral are the ultimate place where people get laid.

Kiryu: Let's go.

Majima: To protect our turbo vergin sensei!

In their own wacky, crazy way, they convince themselves to join the ceremony.
