3rd person POV:

Having passed the exams, the new Genin shinobi gathered in a classroom.

Sitting next to a window a pink-haired girl waited patiently for the arrival of a certain boy.

(Not sweet like candy: Sakura Haruno)
(Genin-Level Shinobi)

Sakura:(mind) Oh~ my dark hair prince, why must you torture me with your lateness.

???: Pfft, Sakura, you look like a desperate puppy!

Sakura: OH SHUT IT, INO BEFORE I SHUT IT FOR YOU!!

Teasing her long-time friend and new rival was a blond girl.

(Blond-shell rival: Ino Yamanaka)
(Genin-Level Shinobi)

Ino:(smugly) Just calling it as I see it.

Sakura:(glares) Wanna see stars?

???: There there Akamaru... Ignore these crazy bitc-

Akamaru:(bark)!

Petting his dig, a hooded kid sat behind a desk.

(Puppy powered Shinobi: Kiba Inuzuka)
(Genin-level Shinobi)

???:....

Standing completely still was a kid, fully covered and wearing glasses.

Kiba: Dude, don't be a creep.

(Insect interest: Shino Aburame)
(Genin-Level Shinobi)

Shino:... Buzz off.

???:(munch, munch) Hah, I get it.

Snacking on some chips, a bigged-boned fella laughed at Shino's pun.

(Big to the bone: Choji Akimichi)
(Genin-Level Shinobi)

Choji: Oh look Shikamaru! Looks like the girls are about to go at it!

???: I don't care about this drag...

(Lazy as a shadow: Shikamaru Nara)
(Genin-Level Shinobi)

???: Um... M-Maybe we shouldn't fight...?

Sakura/Ino: Stay out of this!

???: O-Okay...

(360° of shyness: Hinata Hyuga)

Ino: You're so brutish Sakura, sure you're not a boar?

Sakura: You have so much makeup on, Ino. Sure you're not a clown?

???: Girls, it's not pretty to fight with words.

Entering the classroom with a cool and suave aura, was the kid everyone knew.

Sakura/Ino: Majima!

The two immediately stop arguing as they rush up to Majima who leans the door.

Somewhat shoving each other, Sakura and Ino arrive in front of Majima with wild smiles.

Ino: Majima what took you so long?

Majima: I felt like sleeping in since we didn't have to be up so early.

Ino: Well whatever, I saved you a seat, Majima!

Sakura: Forget her hand-me-downs! I have a perfect seat with a view.

Sakura:(mind) Me!

Majima: Hold on now-

The door slides open, as Sakura tried dragging Majima.

With the door sliding into the arm he was leaning on, Majima tripped forward.

(Smooch)

Everyone:!?!

Sakura/Ino: EHHHHH!?!

Everyone stares in shock as Majima and Kiryu smash lips and faces overall after Majima fell into the arriving Kiryu.

Majima/Kiryu:!?!

Kiryu pushes Majima away.

Kiryu: I don't swing that way.

He then continues on, wiping his mouth as he goes on to take the seat Sakura originally had.

Besides Majima and Hinata, everyone stared at what was to them, an infamous troublemaker, with varying degrees of emotions.

Kiryu:(mind)... Hmm... I feel their stares... I hope I made my preferences clear. I don't want any misunderstandings.

Choji:(mind) We're all going to die!

(Opening theme)

Iruka soon arrived and divided them all into teams of three and gave them their leaders.

Team 7, consisting of Kiryu, Majima, and Sakura, was without a leader as they were running late.

Sakura:(mind) Look at that punk, just sitting there... He stole the kiss that should have been mine!

Majima:(mind) So boring... And what's with this guy? The others seem mostly afraid of him...

Kiryu:...

Majima:(mind) I get he looks a bit intense... But I've seen him around the village and he doesn't seem that bad.

Majima/Sakura:(mind) Wonder what's he thinking?

Kiryu:(mind) Dame da ne! Dame yo♪ dame na no yo!

Sakura:(mind) You know what? I'm-

Kiryu:(turns to Sakura)

Sakura:!?

Kiryu: How long have we been waiting?

Sakura: Uhh...

Majima: Over an hour.

Kiryu: Hmm... I'm going to get some water. Do you two want anything?

Sakura: Eh?

Majima: I'm good.

Kiryu: What about you?

Sakura: Uhhh... I'm fine. Thank you?

Sliding past Majima and Sakura, Kiryu makes his way to the exit.

Sakura:(mind) Hmm... Maybe this guy is one of those who looks like a thug but is a sweetheart?

Eyeing the door, Kiryu remembers what happened with Majima, so just in case...

Kiryu: HIYA!

(SLAM)

He kicked the door down.

???: UGH!

Sakura: He's a total thug!

Majima:(holds in laughter)

Kiryu:?

Picking up the door, Kiryu found a white-haired masked man.

Helping the man up, the two move to the middle of the class where he dusts himself off.

Majima: Finally...

(The Sharingan Warrior: Kakashi Hatake)
(Jonin+ Level Shinobi)

Kakashi: Guess I had that coming...

Kakashi: Sorry I was late students, but I caught up in the hurricane of life.

Majima: So you're supposed to be our teacher?

Kakashi: Well... We'll see. I'm Kakashi Hatake. Come on, let's go somewhere more open.

The three Genin then followed their team leader out of the school and onto a roof.

Kakashi: How about we start with introductions? One at a time, tell me your name, likes, and goal.

Sakura:(mind) Kinda bland...

Rising up, Kiryu takes the lead.

Kiryu: I'm Kiryu Uzumaki. I like ramen and karaoke.

Kiryu: My goal... Is to see how far I can get in this ninja world.

Kakashi: Karaoke... Was not expecting that... Um, very good Kiryu.

Kakashi: Okay, who's next?

Sakura: I'll go!

Sakura: My name is Sakura Haruno. I like Majima (giggles).

Majima:(smiling sigh)

Sakura: And... I guess my goal is to be a good teammate!

Kakashi: And you?

Majima: Me? My name is Majima Uchiha. What I like isn't really any of your concern.

Majima: And what's my goal? Well...

Majima:(smiles) I guess I want to get revenge on the man who killed my clan.

Sakura:!?

Kakashi:...

Kiryu:... That's rad.

Majima:... Thanks?

Kakashi: Well that was... Something. Now that introductions-

Kiryu: What about you?

Kakashi: What about me?

Kiryu: You didn't say your likes and goals.

Sakura: Yeah! It's only fair Kakashi-sensei.

Kakashi:...(sigh)... Alright.

Kakashi: You know my name already. I like reading. And my goals are not important.

Majima:... I reveal that I want to kill a guy, and this is what I get back?

Kakashi: My only importance is teaching you all. Everything else doesn't matter.

Majima: I feel incredibly ripped off.

Sakura: Yeah! Come on, give us more!

Kakashi:(sigh)...

Kakashi:(mind) This might have been a mistake...

Kakashi: Enough about me. I have another place I want to take you three.

With another trip at hand, the three were then taken slightly outside the village.

Kakashi: Alright, it's time for your first test.

Sakura: Test?

Kakashi: I don't just train everyone. I'm extremely picky.

Reaching into his pocket, Kakashi pulls out two bells. Hooking one to both arms like cufflinks.

(Jingle, jingle)

Kakashi: See these bells? You each need to get one of these if you want to stay.

Sakura: There are only two.

Kakashi: Yeah... That's because only two of you can stay.

Kiryu: Can we share a bell?

Kakashi: Ask me again after you get a bell.

Kakashi: No killing. Everything else is allowed.

Kiryu:(cracks neck)

Kiryu:(cracks knuckles)

Kiryu:(takes a brawlers stance)

Kakashi: So you aren't the smart one.

Kiryu:?

Kiryu:(turns around)... Where did they go?

Looking around, Kiryu found Sakura and Majima had already run off to hide and plan an attack.

Kiryu:(shrugs)

Running up to Kakashi, Kiryu engages in close quarters combat.

His first punch was caught by Kakashi, his second, third, fourth, and onwards was dodged by his sensei.

Kakashi:(mind) Iruka told me to be careful against Kiryu's strength, but I wasn't expecting that.

Kakashi:(mind) If I had caught that fist at the wrong angle, my wrist would have definitely been dislocated.

Seemingly casually, Kakashi continued to dodge.

Kakashi:(mind) I think he just plans on knocking me out and taking the bells. That won't do.

Dodging another punch, Kakashi grabbed Kiryu's arm and flipped him over his head.

Kiryu was sent flying into a nearby river despite trying to grab Kakashi's arm to anchor himself.

(Splash)

Kakashi: I'm leagues beyond you. Brut force won't work.

Climbing out of the river with a fish, Kiryu stares at Kakashi.

Kiryu:...

Kiryu: I'll trade you this fish for one of the bells.

Kakashi/Majima/Sakura: Eh?

Kiryu:(holds out fish)

Kakashi:...(sigh)... You're missing the point of the exercise.

Kiryu:?

Kakashi:(opens book) I don't have time for silly children-

Kakashi:?

Sensing danger, Kakashi found the fish flying towards him, surrounded by chakra flames.

Barely dodging, Kakashi lost a few strands of hair, as the fish flew past and cut down a tree.

Kakashi:(mind) He enchanted the fish with chakra? Creative... I'll give you that.

Kakashi: You're all going to fail at this rate.

Sakura:(mind) I need to find Majima so we can coordinate an attack.

Kiryu walks up to Kakashi then begins to menacingly glare at him.

Kakashi:...

Kiryu:...

Kakashi:(reads book)

Kiryu:(lifts hands)

Kakashi:(glances back at Kiryu)

Kiryu:(stops moving)

Kakashi:....(continues reading book)

Kiryu:...(moves hands)

Kakashi: Do you mind?

Kiryu: No. You can keep reading.

Kakashi:(mind) He's up to something... But what? His poker face is beyond even my eye's ability to read.

Kakashi:(mind) If he's trying to distract me so Majima can get close, then they're on the right track...

Kakashi:(mind) But I saw this coming a mile away.

Majima rushes up behind Kakashi, who glances back towards him, only to hear Kiryu make hand signs.

Kakashi: Hm?

Kiryu: "Karaoke Jutsu"!

Kakashi: Eh?

(Karaoke Jutsu)

Kiryu: Baka mitai...

Caught off guard by the surprisingly powerful Genjutsu, Kakashi, and Majima are brought into Kiryu's Karaoke Jutsu.

Sakura was out of range of the Karaoke jutsu, so from her perspective, she only heard Kiryu sing as Majima and Kakashi began looking depressed.

Sakura: Not again...

Sakura:(mind) Wait, this is my time to strike!

Kakashi began to reminisce about his youth, and the team he was on-

Kakashi:(mind) Enough!

(Battle theme)

Breaking the Genjutsu, Kakashi turned to Kiryu as he kicked him in the crotch.

Kakashi would have used a substitution jutsu, however, Sakura and Majima both pounced, grabbing the bells.

If it weren't for the pure shock of Kiryu's genjutsu, he could have easily gotten past all three.

But now he had to try.

Squeezing his legs together, he caught Kiryu's leg as he grabbed the other two's wrist.

Majima:(chuckles)... Give it up sensei! We don't want to hurt you.

Sakura: Yeah! You're in a sticky situation, now.

Kakashi: I'll admit... You made me drop my book. And that Genjutsu caught me absolutely off guard, Kiryu.

Kakashi: But did you forget Kiryu? If these two get the bells, you're out.

Sakura:(mind) Oh no! If Kiryu doesn't keep putting pressure on Sensei's balls, we're screwed!

Sakura:(mind) I have no idea how to convince him to sacrifice himself for us too.

Majima: What will it be Kiryu-chan? Me or Sakura?

Kiryu:...

Kakashi:?

Flames began emitting off of him.

Kiryu: It doesn't matter to me if by the end of this I'm no longer part of Team 7.

Kiryu: For the time being I am... So I will do everything to assure our victory!

Sakura/Majima/Kakashi:!!

Grabbing Kakashi's wrist kneels down and pulls on Kakashi's arms, to drag his groin onto his knee.

Majima: He's still aiming for the balls!?

Majima: Sakura, quick! Now's our chance!

Using their off hands, they do their best to take their bells, Sakura manages to get her bell.

Kakashi:(mind) Do I do it? Do I hospitalize these kids?

Majima gets his.

Kakashi:(sigh)...

Kakashi:(mind) I'll settle for working them to the bone.

Kakashi: Okay, it's over!

Kiryu:...

Reluctantly, Kiryu stops trying to knee Kakashi's balls, as his flames die down whilst releasing his teacher.

Kakashi:(sigh of relief)

Kiryu: Train them well, Sensei.

Kakashi: I will.

Kiryu:(begins to walk away)

Kakashi: I'll train you as well.

Kiryu:?

Sakura: What? But I thought-

Kakashi: I see you three still didn't get the point of this...

Kakashi: You three were supposed to use teamwork to beat me.

Kakashi: Admittedly... You did...

Majima: To try and kick you in the groin.

Kakashi: Yeah, that twist wasn't a pleasant one.

Majima: I enjoyed it a whole hell of a lot.

Kakashi: Well you three are the first to get to this point in a while...

Kakashi: So let me reward you with advice... If you go alone, you will die. But stick together and you might just survive.

Kiryu:...

Kakashi:... Anyway, how about we celebrate the fact that I didn't lose the ability to make more brats like you with some Ramen? My treat.

The newly forged trio then follows their sensei to the local Ramen shop.

Sakura: Hey... Kiryu?

Kiryu: What?

Sakura: You're not that bad of a guy then I first thought.

Kiryu: Oh... Wait, what did you first think of me?

Majima: Hey Kiryu-Chan, you're a funny guy. I had my doubts, but I think this might just work out.

Kiryu:... Why are you adding "Chan" to my name?

Majima: If you think when I talk about my first kiss, I won't make sound like it was a cute girl, you're wrong.

Sakura:(blushes) You could just say it was me, Majima-kun~.

Majima: Sorry, too many witnesses.

Sakura:(sigh)...

Kakashi:(mind) Whatever happened to the classic love triangle...
