(David:)

David, John, and Lucy left Rengi's with smiles on their faces. They had a great time. He had an old fashion American cheeseburger with fries. John had 2 chicken filet sandwiches with fries jumbo sized. As usual though, Lucy had  a chicken penne with fettuccine. The food was great.

A couple of hours later, they walked out of the entrance. They were laughing and smiling, an oddity of David's. It's rare to see him happy. His friends are reveling at this opportunity.

"That's was great for a change." He said.

Lucy laughed.

"You can say that again."

He looked at her. He believes that their time today was actually the longest she has ever talked. Usually she'll speak for about couple of minutes every 3 to 4 hours a day. Ever since they walked into Rengi's, the only time she stopped talking was when The waitress brought them tier food and she started eating.

John then spoke.

"Yes, this is really great. Then again, we always have a good time when we hang out to each other."

They both turned to John. Then they both spoke at the same time.

"You're right."

They smiled when his facial expression turned glum. Then he exclaims.

"Oh no, no, no, no. Don't start speaking in unison. That's annoying."

David just scoffs while still smiling.

"Spend some time with my dad for more than a couple of hours. Us speaking in unison pales in comparison to him when it comes to annoying."

John just shakes his head, his body shuttering. David's right. He spent half a hour at his home with his dad and he was praising Jesus when he got a phone call. It was trivial, but it gave him a reason to leave.

"You're right." He said.

David just sighs. "Speaking of annoyance, I'm about to get hit by it again. I'll talk to you guys later."

They both said. "Alright. Bye."

He waved them goodbye and got into his car. He pulled out of the parking space and drove off. On his way home and to more irritation.

All the while, the group of mysterious figures watched him leave.

Devron spoke to the other.

"Let's go. It's time to get him."

Vero and Trag'huez agreed.

The trio lingered for several more minutes, then they disappeared back into the woods.

(John:)

John and Lucy watch as David gets in his car to go home. He's always been with David. They were always friends. He always stood up for him. Him and Lucy. The trio was always together and they trust each other.

However, John has a secret. A huge secret. A secret no one except a certain few knew. One of them was David's Dad. Another was Risa. And that secret is that he's not human. Not a human at all. He live on Earth for a long time. Over 17 years to be exact. He experience a lot while he was a lot. Some of these experiences he went through he can't understand. He tried understand these people, these humans. But he just couldn't. When he's alone, he's always scratching his head, trying figure everything out. He even started to question why he's even here. Then he remembers.

He was sent to earth for one reason and one reason only: Orion. He was given orders to watch over and protect Orion. Or rather, watch over and protect David. His Queen's very own son. He often wondered of all planets, why bring him here? But when she approached him back then and asked him to stay and watch over him, he never even hesitated.

Unbeknownst to him, Lucy has been calling out to him. He was so lost in thought he never noticed.

"Hello. John. Earth to John. John!"

He turns to her. "Yeah?"

She just scoffs.

"Sometimes I hate it when you get lost in your thoughts. It's as if you have your own maze in that head of yours."

He looks down. With humor, he spoke. "Heh. My bad. You know me. When I start thinking, it'll take someone to have to slap me to get my attention."

She giggled sofwly." You're right about that."

He just smiles. "Alright, let me ta--"

His eyes grew wide as he noticed mysterious figures on the outer edges of the woods. They're looking directly at David's Mustang as it left the lot.

Even from a distance, he can see one of suspicious men's face. As one of the elites, he was trained to 'see what's more than meet the eye'. He saw that there was lines on the man's face. They looked scaly. His eyes were not round like a humans. It look like rattlesnake eyes. He had a feeling he know what that man is, but can't remember. Then he sees the tongue. The man licked it's tongue out, just like a snake. Fear has griped his stomach.

"Oh no." He thought. Then he turns to Lucy.

"Lucy, I'll be right back. I need to use the restroom. I'll be right back."

He rushed right back into Rengi's and then into the restroom. The moment he entered the restroom, he took out his cell phone. He typed in the number and hit send. A couple of minutes later, a man answered.

"What is it?" He asked

John replied. "We have a huge problem."

There was a pause then he continued.

"They found him."

The man on the phone said gravely.

"Damn it. Notify Jason. I'll contact Risa. He must be brought here immediately. He's not safe anymore."

"I'll contact Jason. Hopefully they don't know where he lives." He said. With his voice grave.

He hangs up the phone and immediately leaves the restroom. Lucy sees him rush out of the restroom. The mysterious figures are no where to be seen.

"Lucy. We are leaving now!" He said with a serious tone.

"What happened?" She asked. She always knows something has happened or something's wrong when his voice has a serious tone to it.

"I need to get you home. Then I need to head over David house." He replied.

"What? Why? Is he in trouble?" Her voice full of concern.

"No. But I have a feeling he's in danger. Now let's go!"

"Then take me with you." She said.

"No Lucy. Not this time." He said. His tone is a lot fiercer than before.

"I'm going. And I'm not taking no for an answer. If David is danger, then I want help." She said with a tone he never heard from her. Ever.

"No Lucy!! You're not going!!!" He yelled at her.

Then he noticed that her facial expression hardened.

"John. I am going. You won't stop me. If David is in danger, then I will do whatever I can to help him. Now get your ass in the truck and let's go. Now!!!"

He was shocked by her. Then he grins.

"Alright. Let's go."

And so he stepped on the gas and rushed to David's house, not knowing that the mysterious figures were already there.

(David:)

David arrives home to be greeted by his father. And so the irritation continues. Yet again.

"Welcome back. Did ya have a good time?" His dad asked.

"Yeah. I had a good time." He said as he passes him and enters the house. His father followed him in. The 3 mysterious men were looking on from the woods. They just smiled.

15 minutes later, there was knock at the door. His father answered. Upon opening the door, he meets 2 men men at the door. He asked the 2 men.

"May I help you?"

The 2 men were dressed in black and white suits. Wearing thick black shades. He noticed that there small lines on their faces. One of the men spoke.

"Are you Mr. Kenning?

"Yes?"

"Is your son here. David Kenning?"

"No. Why?"

"Are you sure? We see that his car is here."

"I'm sure. His friends came and got him 30 minutes ago."

David knelt at the top of stairs, overhearing the conversation. The men were looking for him. And his dad is lying. Why?

"Alright." One of the men said. "Let us know when he returns. We need to speak to him."

They left the porch and his father closed the door. A couple of minutes later, David came downstairs.

"Hey dad. Who was that?" He asked.

His dad just smiled wider. "That was some random guy."

"Sounded like they were looking for me." He said.

His father replied. "It's probably nothing. Don't worry about."

He felt that it was more than nothing, but he dropped the subject. Moments later, the phone rings. His father answered.

"Hello?"

"Jason." It was John. "Get him out of there. They found him. I repeat. They found him."

Jason's smile died and his eyes grew wide. David noticed him shaking.

"What's wrong? Who is it?" He asked.

Jason looked very nervous. He looked at David, then the door. Then he rushed to David's room and hastily began packing his clothes.

"What's wrong. What's going on?" David asked worriedly. He never seen his dad so nervous.

"You're not safe anymore. We have to get you safe." He said with a worried tone. He then rushed out into his room and flipped his bed over. His son looked astonished.

Such weird weapons. Weapons he never seen before. His father grab several and stuffed them in a bag. He held one. He then turns to David.

"We need to go. Now!!!"

They head downstairs. He hands David's bag to him.

"Why? What's going on?!"

"Don't argue with me. We need to go now!!!"

Just then, they hear a sound. A weird whirring. Jason knew what it was. A weapon cycling power. He yells at David.

"GET DOWN!!!!!!"

Boom.
