Riley's pov
I woke up early as usual and had a drink from the lake by my cave enjoying the peace but I know this won't last long, it never dose for me. I decided to go check on these guys from yesterday so I flew to their house and hovered for a bit and watched, I could feel the pull of my mate but it was to risky if he saw my human form he'd know who I am and I'm afried he and the others will hate me. I see one of the ones in glasses go for a walk So I follow so he dosent get hurt, he soon found the lake I drank from and he started skiping stones I smile as his actions. After a few minutes another dragon shows up and starting flying away with the boy in its claws "someone help me!" He yells so I went after them to try and save him.

Virgil's pov
The second I heard Patton I shot right up and starting running outside waking the others "what's going on?" Thomas "Patton is in trouble" I say as I get outside. I then change to my Dragon form and fly off to try and save Patton but when I get I see him falling "Patton!" I yell and as I go to save him the girl from before gets to him first and carefully places him with the others that followed me. She then flys up to me "I didn't say this yesterday but hi" she says in the sweetest voice ever "hey there" I say back to her "Virgil you wanna come down here and introduce us" Thomas yells. I do just that and she follows but when she changed to her human form I was in awe at how beautiful she was
"So um hi there" she says shyly looking at the others. I walk over to her and make her look up at me "it's okay their not gonna hurt you" I say and gently kiss her forehead making her smile "I knew it, I told you guys he fianlly found her" Patton says excitedly. It makes the girl giggle "anyway what is your name?" Logan asks "riley" she says "do you have a last name?" Thomas asks and this seems to make her nerouvs "is something wrong?" Roman asks. She looks at all of us "if I tell you please don't be mad" she says making us all confused "why would we be mad kiddo?" Patton asks "Britt, my last name is britt" she says then I understand why she was nervous before. I can't believe after all this time she's still alive, it's all quite before the others pull riley and me into a group hug "we missed you ry" Thomas says "really? I thought you'd all hate me for leaving so suddenly" she says. "We were a little upset but we all knew you would never leave without a good reason" Roman says making her smile "anyway let's head back home, your welcome to stay the night if you'd like?" Thomas offers and riley agree's so we all headed back home me holding riley's hand.
