Retake Fairy Tail!
Bloodman had been wounded multiple times; Gajeel was vengefully seeking his blood. Bloodman was pinned against a tree with iron rods Gajeel refusing to relent.
"Tell me dragon, are you prepared to die?" Bloodman laughed.
"Die? Only one is going to die here and it sure as hell won't be me!" Gajeel yelled.
Bloodman unleashed a spell that sent skulls crashing around Gajeel disintegrating anything they touched.
"I control the power of the nine demon gates; I am a superior demon, one that cannot be beaten by a mere mortal!" Bloodman yelled.
Gajeel turned on his dragon force and continued to attack Bloodman.
"You are crossing the third seal! If you break it then anyone who faces me will not return alive!" Bloodman threatened, attacking Gajeel.
"Try me!" Gajeel roared.
Bloodman sent a barrage of curses flying towards Gajeel, suddenly a barrier came in-between the two and Levy emerged.
"Levy what are you doing here!?" Gajeel cried.
"I won't let you die!" Levy cried drawing another barrier.
"You're meager attempts won't stop me!" Bloodman roared.
"These barriers were designed by Freed, Seilah, and yours truly, their sole purpose is to absorb, reflect and nullify all curse attacks!" Levy retorted.
Sure enough, the barriers held fast as more curses plummeted towards the two.
Still, the anti-magic particles were thick in the air and Levy's strength was falling as she absorbed the particles. Gajeel raced forward in dragon force through Levy's borders and fatally wounded Bloodman driving his iron dragon sword through the latter's chest.
"See, told you only one will die," Gajeel panted.
"Gajeel," Levy laughed in relief.
"Careful," Gajeel said standing back, "the demons have a nasty way of getting back up."
"... Curse... you," Bloodman gritted.
"Send the devil my regards," Gajeel spat as Bloodman died.
"This is where it ends," Irene growled sensing that another Spriggan had fallen, "I cast Universe one!"
The ground began to shift as Irene changed the ground according to her vision. The remaining Spriggan were shifted closer to the guildhall while the Fiore mages were scattered.
"Where are we?" August asked.
Acnologia could only gape at the sight before him. The Tenrou tree stood proudly its magic flowing through him.
"But... Tenrou was destroyed... how on earth?" Acnologia began pondering.
"Irene's magic did this," August sighed.
"No, there's no way Irene did this on purpose," Acnologia said shaking his head.
"No, Fairy Tail did this," another voice stated. Acnologia turned and began feeling overwhelmed. Zera was smiling at him.
"How?"
"Mavis, in her concentration, had forgotten my existence meaning that I may exist for the time being, and Fairy Tail's spirit has made this place regrow now, our troops are scattered, and we must rally... quickly. Mavis is in grave danger."
"Perhaps we can warn her?" August asked.
"It's alright, we planned for something like this," Acnologia growled.
"Warren?" Mavis asked telepathically, "Canna?"
"Hello Mavis," Zeref said opening the guild door.
"Zeref," Mavis said coldly.
Invel appeared behind Zeref and moved to freeze Mavis; Zeref held out his hand and stopped him.
"She's an allusion you cannot do anything, so, Mavis, what are you doing?" Zeref asked.
"Zeref, I am... I am sorry," Mavis sighed.
"For what?"
"For this," Mavis answered. The allusion of her began to fade.
"What is happening?" Invel asked.
"I hope we meet again soon Zeref," Mavis smiled as she completely faded.
"So plan Reclaim Fairies takes effect," Zera smiled
"Okay, listen up Fairy Tail and friends!" Acnologia's voice rang out in the heads of every Fairy Tail member, "The time is now! Unleash all the magic you've been saving, give it your all, Alvarez just got a step above us! It's time to make em' regret it!"
Acnologia could almost feel the smiles of every member.
"My lord, did you hear Acnologia?" Invel began asking.
"Yes," Zeref gritted as he looked out over the now raised guildhall.
"There is no way that they can get here in a reasonable-" Invel paused when a loud cry broke out from the forest before them. The Alverez soldiers looked uneasy.
They came like a pack, Fairy Tail members began to jump out of the forest.
"How? How did they get here so quickly!?" Invel cried.
"CORE DRAGON SUMMONS!" Serena yelled and another five hundred mages appeared in front of him.
"Sweet," Natsu laughed.
"Well done cousin," Wendy smiled.
"Thanks now go kick some ass," Serena laughed.
"Thank you, Serena, I was about to be in a very bad place," Mira laughed in relief.
"Yeah, that Scarlet haired woman... she tried to come with you, you better be careful," Serena nodded beginning to draw another magic circle. This time only three people appeared, Acnologia, August, and Zera.
"Nice work Serena," Acnologia nodded.
"Okay, what's the plan?" Serena asked.
"You're gonna love it," Acnologia smiled, "Although I can't tell you everything."
(A Few Minutes Later)
"This is a bad plan," Serena sighed.
"No... it's brilliant," Mavis laughed.
"Go on, join in the fun," Acnologia chuckled.
"Alright, prepare for some serious decimation," Serena laughed.
"I never got to ask," Mavis said as her guild began to gain ground, "how did you get here so fast?"
"Serena," Acnologia answered simply, "And how did you get back in your body?"
"Cana broke me out, I simply lay dormant until the time was right," Mavis smiled.
"Well, before we take action, you should say goodbye to an old friend," Acnologia sighed.
"What?"
"Go a few feet back, behind a boulder, you'll know."
Mavis did so and smiled as a familiar face greeted her, it was Zera.
"Zera," Mavis laughed embracing her old friend.
"Hello Mavis," Zera said feeling herself fading.
"Are you... are you able to stay?" Mavis asked.
"No, in fact, I must leave very soon," Zera choked, "but before I go... Zeref has one weakness, and that is the fact that he's forgotten what it means to forget his pain. Now go, and greet your son," Zera laughed.
"Son?" Mavis asked.
"Hello mother," August said from behind the two. Mavis looked in awe but Zera only smiled.
"I... I don't," Mavis pondered.
"Remind Zeref what it means to forget, and then slap him for me," Zera laughed.
"Zera, I-"
"Hush, I'm always with you," Zera laughed, with that she was gone.
Mavis looked to August, "I'd say we have much to talk about."
"How did they get here?" Irene asked as she walked up next to Zeref and Invel.
"Does it matter? They are here," Zeref sighed, "Irene, I require your assistance, you must locate Mavis."
"As you wish."
"Any news as to August's location?" Zeref asked.
"No my lord," Invel sighed.
"Perhaps he was held up," Zeref supposed.
A huge eye appeared over the battlefield Irene scanning the area; Irene's doing, a commotion caught her attention. A scarlet haired woman dawned in black armor was right beneath her.
"It can't be," Irene denied to herself.
"ZEREF!" a voice cried. Irene no longer had to look for Mavis, a ginormous mirage of Mavis stood behind the soldiers.
"What is she up to?" Invel questioned.
"It doesn't matter," Zeref gritted, "we need her."
"I have one message for Zeref, remember what it was to forget!" with that the mirage faded away.
"What does she mean by that?" Irene questioned.
Zeref was silent for a few minutes, "destroy these mages and find her."
"Good, three of the four remaining Spriggan have joined in," Acnologia nodded.
"Do I have to face them?" Brandish asked reluctantly.
"No," Acnologia said, "But please assist Porlyusica with the injured."
Brandish nodded.
"What of me?" August asked.
"Stay low, we have to wait until all of the Spriggan are down," Acnologia warned.
"Be warned, I only know the identities of three of the four Spriggan left, no one has met the fourth, but I am certain he is not as strong as the rest."
"Never underestimate your opponent, I've learned that lesson far too many times," Acnologia growled.
