Raven Tail's Damnation

"*^%! Sabertooth, I'm gonna ground that guy into dust," Gray gritted his teeth.

"Don't be such a poor sport gray, both Fairy Tail teams are tied for second, that's a good place to be," Ur soothed as Porlyusica wrapped Gray and Natsu's wounds. Neither were serious but Porlyusica would rather be safe than sorry.

"Who's in the first battle?" Natsu asked.

"Lucy," Gray answered.

"Against who?" Natsu asked quickly.

"Flare, from Raven Tail," Gray answered, he began to say something else but was quickly stopped by Porlyusica.

"Shut up, I need you still to bandage you!" Porlyusica cried.

"I'm fine!" Gray argued.

"Natsu you may go, but I'm keeping this one here for a while," Porlyusica cried.

"YOU CAN'T DO THAT, I'M PERFECTLY FINE!!"

"Watch me."

Natsu made his way back up to his team's seats where he watched Lucy take the field.

"Next up we have Lucy Heartfillia of Fairy Tail's team A against Flare Corona of Team Raven Tail," Yajima announce.

Acnologia had a warm feeling about this match.

The two went at it, Lucy had grown skill-wise but Flare was not an opponent that could be taken lightly. Naturally, Raven Tail cheated.

Flare was skilled, no doubt, but fear of losing made her threaten Asuka. Acnologia calmly leaned down grabbed her hair and pulled. Flare was pulled to the ground.

Lucy then used Urano Metria. Flare wasn't able to move because... well she couldn't move.

Acnologia watched as Obra tried to negate Lucy's magic, but a rune cage stopped any magic, or negation thereof from leaving the cage. Flare was hit and Lucy won.

"I CALL FOUL!" Ivan cried. Acnologia couldn't help but smile, "I JUST REALIZED MY TEAM IS CAGED IN!" Ivan cried.

"Yes, that is part of the precaution," Yajima smiled

"WHAT!"

"Indeed every team has a magical enchantment placed over them by Fairy Tail mage Freed Justine, for precautionary purposes."

"That's BIAS!" Iva screamed.

"I think not," Acnologia yelled his voice strengthening. Everyone looked to him, probably because the entire field could hear him without a microphone. "It's very beneficial, it ensures no one cheats, but I can't think of why anyone, especially from your team, would cheat Ivan?" Acnologia smiled.

"Tell me, does your team have a shield!" Ivan cried going hoarse.

"Of course," Acnologia smiled reaching out and touching the shield, "It also protects the team from dangers... well most of them," Acnologia said picking up the red piece of hair. Ivan's sweatdropped as he realized that Acnologia held the power disqualify their team. "Now let's all play nice shall we?" Acnologia smiled it was menacing but only to Ivan.

The next fight was Ren Akatsuki of Blue Pegasus against Arana Webb of Mermaid Heel.

Sherry cheered Ren on.

"AWWW so cute!" Lisanna smiled.

Ren won mumbling something about looking uncool in front of Sherry would be terrible, and then promptly won.

The next fight was between Orga and Warcry; the audience loved Orga. Warcry started using his tear magic and in three seconds Orga had defeated him. Then Orga began singing.

"I can sing so much better, maybe I should show everyone, Gihi" Gajeel smiled.

"DON'T. YOU. DARE!" Erik yelled from across the field.

The final fight of the day was between Jura Neekis of Lamia Scale against Rogue Cheney of Fairy Tail team B. Although Jura could control the earth, Rogue was a literal Shadow. The only issue was that when Rogue came out of the Shadows to strike Jura, Jura could hit Rogue. The match ended with a tie... Fairy Tail was proud, Rogue had stood up to a Wizard saint... but Lamia scale's master was... less than pleased.

"HOW COULD YOU LOSE?! I'M GONNA SPIN YOU SO MANY TIMES!" Master Ooba cried.

"But he didn't lose you old hag!" Sherry cried.

"I'LL SPIN YOU TOO!"

Fairy Tail was in very high spirits that night, so naturally, they all got drunk.

"Good job brats! Now tomorrow, let's do just as well!" Makarov cried.

"YEAH!" everyone shouted.

At some time during the night, Sting, Rogue, and Wendy asked if they could go for a walk. Acnologia trusted the trio to care for themselves. Wendy could support the duo and she could hold her own, and Sting and Rogue were nearly invincible when they were together. But they didn't come back.

At first, Acnologia wasn't worried, but then Erik slumped over in his seat.

"Erik?' Laxus asked shaking his brother.

"Hey Erik, what's wrong?" Natsu asked.

"He's out," Laxus answered.

"But Erik doesn't like alcohol," Laki pointed out.

Acnologia was there in seconds... "There's a frequency that can knock out dogs because it's just high enough so that they can't hear it but low enough so that it can affect them... the same for dragons with high hearing."

"What are you saying?" Erza asked.

"Where are Rogue, Sting, and Wendy?" Acnologia asked hiding the panic in his voice.

"Speaking of that, they should be home by now," Gajeel pondered.

"Do you think they're okay?" Lucy asked.

"We have to go find them!" Natsu cried.

"Take care of Erik. He'll be fine, but he'll be very angry when he wakes up," Acnologia instructed Kinana.

The guild ran into the street and began searching for their comrades.

Natsu and Gajeel met up with Orga and Rufus.

"My, my, don't you two seem in a rush?" Rufus observed.

"We're looking for our guildmates, there's a young girl with blue hair about yea tall," Natsu began describing.

"Not our problem," Orga shrugged continuing to walk.

A tick mark formed on Gajeel's head, "Listen, we'd just like to know if you've seen em."

"If my memory serves me right, you are referring to three dragon slayers. One small one with blue hair and brown eyes, another tall one with blonde hair and blue eyes, and the final shadow dragon slayer, the one with black hair, and red eyes," Rufus smiled.

"Yeah, have you seen them!?" Natsu cried.

"Yes, I remember seeing them a few minutes ago" Rufus smiled walking away.

"Well, where!" Gajeel growled.

"It's not my problem," Rufus shrugged.

"Hey, they're our family; we want to find them if you could help us out that would be appreciated!" Gajeel growled holding a threatening undertone.

"Like we said, not our problem," Orga shrugged.

"Jerks!" Natsu growled after them.

"Use your nose salamander, we can find them," Gajeel instructed sending the Sabertooth mages a glare.

"I hope nothing bad happened to them," Lucy said fearfully.

"Me too," Lector shivered.

"ROGUE! ROGUE!" Frosch cried in tears.

"This is wrong, Rogue would have heard Frosch's cry's by now," Erza pondered.

"Yeah, he usually would have demolished half a city just to get to him," Lector shivered.

"ROGUE!" Frosch continued calling.

"Sting-Kun, where are you!" Lector called in the night.

"Wendy! Wendy child where are you!" Charle called as fear filled her voice.

An hour later, no-one had found them, and Frosch had gone missing.

"I took my eyes off of him for two seconds... he could be hurt and scared," Lucy cried looking around frantically.

"Don't blame yourself, Frosch does this even when he's not upset, we'll find him," Lector encouraged flying around scanning the streets.

"Damn, if we do find Rogue, he's gonna kill us!" Laxus growled.

"Rogue, Rogue?" Frosch sniffed in tears. He was wandering down an alley, "Rogue!!!!"

"Are you okay?" a soft voice asked him.

The exceed turned around and saw a woman with dark purple hair and hazel eyes. She wore an elaborate blazer with gold lining and a white hairband with a ribbon tied as a bow. A sword was strapped to her side.

"My... My friend Rogue went missing... everyone's looking for him. I'm scared, Rogue never gets lost... he always finds me," Frosch wailed.

The woman's eyes softened and she put a hand on the exceeds head, "Do you want me to help you find him?"

"Yes please," Frosch cried. The woman picked up Frosch and carried him around the block.

"I believe I know the mage you speak, his name in Rogue Cheney, he fought Jura earlier today," the woman supposed.

"Uh-huh, Rogue is very strong, especially when he's with Sting... but neither came home, Wendy didn't come home either," Frosch said.

"I'm sure their around here somewhere," the woman reassured the exceed.

"I hope so," Frosch whimpered.

"You care about them very much don't you," the woman smiled.

"Yep, Rogue took care of Frosch all the time, he made me this costume!" Frosch smiled his attitude changing.

"Really?"

"Yep, Rogue tells Frosch that he loves him all the time, he's like my dad! He reads me stories and helps me catch frogs, sometimes he even plays dress-up with me... whoops," Frosch said suddenly.

"What's wrong?" the woman asked.

"I'm not supposed to tell people that, he gets embarrassed really easily, but never when he's alone with Frosch," Frosch smiled.

"I must admit, it's hard to imagine the shadow dragon slayer playing dress-up," the woman smiled turning a corner.

"So... what's your name?" Frosch asked.

"I am Kagura Mikazuchi," Kagura smiled.

"That's a pretty name," Frosch smiled.

"Thank you."

"That's why it's perfect, 'cause it's pretty like you!"

Kagura blushed a little at the exceeds compliment.

"Now, where would your friend have gone?' she asked changing the subject.

"I like fireflies... and so does Rogue..." Frosch smiled.

"Did he go to see fireflies?" Kagura asked.

"I don't know... Wendy likes fireflies to... maybe they did go to see fireflies."

"Hmm, where would there be a large number of fireflies?"

"Rogue told me they like bushes, I made him carry me through a bush because I wanted to see them, there was a whole lot in there!" Frosch smiled reliving the memory.

"Hmm, there's a royal garden that's open to the public most of the time, let's go there."

The garden was closed, but it was little trouble scaling the fence. There were fireflies everywhere.

"Wow," Frosch gaped reaching towards a firefly.

"They're beautiful," Kagura smiled.

"Fro thinks so too," Frosch looked in awe.

A groan redirected their attention. Kagura put a hand on her sword, "Who's there!"

"Rogue?" Frosch questioned leaped out of Kagura's arms and running towards the noise. He turned a corner and gasped, "Sting!"

Kagura turned the corner and saw the white dragon slayer lying on his stomach; she gently flipped him over and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw he was breathing.

"What's wrong with him!?" Frosch whimpered.

"His magic energy is drained, he's exhausted and immensely weak," Kagura explained.

"So he'll be okay?" Frosch whimpered.

"Yes," Kagura reassured the exceed.

Sting was breathing heavily, his face contorted in pain... Slowly he opened his eyes, "where's Wendy," he whispered.

"Do you think Wendy and Rogue are hurt too!" Frosch cried.

"Come on," Kagura said picking up the exceed and running through the high bushes.

"Rogue!" Frosch cried, "Rogue!"

"Frosch?" a weak voice cried out, a young girl stumbled out, Wendy.

Kagura put Frosch down and caught the collapsing sky dragon slayer. She wasn't drained completely of magic energy, but she had lost a significant amount.

"Are you okay?" Kagura asked.

"We were busy, we didn't hear him, but when Sting fell down Rogue grabbed me... I didn't know, I was scared, then another came out and Rogue fought him... then he drained me, but Rogue saved me, he hid me in a bush, then he ran off... I should have done something, I could have helped him, I was too scared, I don't know where he went," Wendy sobbed. She was exhausted and the sobs that shook her body wasn't helping her.

"Shh, you're okay," Kagura soothed.

"I have to find my brother!" Wendy cried.

Something in Kagura stirred, that little girl crying the same words she cried, 'I must find my brother'.

"You rest, we'll find him," Kagura soothed.

"No, no, I have to... I... can...save...him," Wendy argued her voice slowly dying down as she fell asleep in Kagura's arms. Kagura laid her down before continuing on with Frosch.

"Someone attacked Wendy, Sting, and Rogue," Frosch cried.

"They'll be okay," Kagura tried to reassure the exceed, but doubt was growing.

She turned yet another corner and quickly turned to stop Frosch, "you might not want to come closer," she warned.

"ROGUE!" Frosch cried.

The exceed pushed past Kagura and ran to the unconscious mage lying on the ground. Kagura came up and immediately checked for a pulse. The pulse was there, but it was weak, as was Rogue's breathing. There was a bloody scratch across the mage's nose, causing blood to run down the mage's face. He was drained of so much magic power, Kagura was surprised that he was still alive.

"Rogue, Rogue, wake up," Frosch cried shaking the mage's shoulder.

"He's okay, but he's very weak, you must help me carry him along with the others to your guild."

"... I don't know where that is," Frosch cried tears in his eyes.

"What?"

"Rogue always told me how to get there... but I don't remember!"

"Didn't he give you directions or something along those lines?"

"There was.... there was the rhyme!" Frosch cried suddenly something dawning on him.

"Well, how did it start?" Kagura tried to soothe the exceed as she lifted the mage over his shoulder.

"Um, there a clock... Look for the frog clock!" Frosch cried.

"Frog clock?" Kagura repeated slowly.

"It's where Rogue and I found a frog."

Kagura gave Wendy to Frosch, the little exceed was stronger than he looked and he picked up the girl with ease. With another heave, Kagura threw Sting over her other shoulder.

"Okay, frog clock."

"There it is!" Frosch cried flying towards a clock tower.

"Okay, what next?" Kagura panted running up to the exceed.

"Frog clock! Then follow the butterfly where we saw in on a lily pond!" Frosch recited.

"Follow the butterfly?"

"I got lost a lot so Rogue began spray painting a trail to our meet up spots... I don't mean to get lost... and Rogue never minds, he always understands."

"He sounds like a very nice man," Kagura panted.

"There's the butterfly!" Frosch cried running up to a small green butterfly spray-painted on the side of a building, a long line of them led to a pond that acted much like a mirror.

"Okay, where to next?"

"Um... oooh fishes!" Frosch cried looking over at the colored fish that swam beneath their feet.

"Frosch, Rogue needs you," Kagura reminded the exceed gently.

"Right, umm... Fly to the cupcakes with frog eyes," Frosch recited.

Kagura had no idea what he was talking about.

"Here," Frosch said pointing at a bakery with a frog as the logo. "Rogue bought me a cupcake here!"

"Where next?"

"Go the way the arrow points," Frosch said pointing to an arrow painted on a road sign, "Run past the place with stripey ties," Frosch chanted now in rhythm. He flew past a tie shop, Wendy in his paws. Kagura jogged after him, the twin dragons over her shoulders.

"Finally stop at the warm friendly bar with a flag, where the symbol of Home is raised proud and won't sag." Frosch stopped in front of the bar where a fairy tail banner waved in the wind. "When you're lost and alone and cold in the wind, just give a good knock, and come right in," Frosch yipped happily pushing the doors open. Kagura jogged into the bar and met the gazes of many surprised individuals and a beaming exceed.

"Attacked!" Makarov cried.

"By who!" Natsu growled.

"She's already told you, she doesn't know!" Erza said defending Kagura.

Erik, Sting, Rogue, and Wendy were up with Porlyusica, along with Kinana, Frosch, Lector, and Charle.

"Everything I told you is how it went, I'm sorry I don't know more," Kagura sighed.

Everyone stayed silent but the newcomer could sense the anger in the room.

'So this is Fairy Tail' she thought, 'Their comrades are hurt, and they are craving vengeance, I almost feel bad for whoever they'll exact it upon'

She was drawn to the mage in the corner of the room, the dragon slayers seemed to stay close to him, almost how wolves stay close to their alpha.

"Miss Kagura," the healer called.

Kagura turned and looked to Porlyusica.

"As much as I hate it, can you come upstairs; Frosch would like to see you."

Kagura came and calmly walked up the stairs. She walked past Erik's room where the dragon slayer was ranting about noises to Kinana, Sting's room where Lector was applying a warm compress to Sting's head finally she passed Wendy's room the Charle was sitting by Wendy calmly.

Finally, she pushed the door to Rogue's room open. Frosch was sleeping on a pillow next to Rogue's bed.

"You called for me?" Kagura asked wondering if the exceed was even awake.

"No, I did actually," the shadow dragon mage rasped opening his eyes and looking to her.

"You're awake," Kagura said surprised.

"Yes, and... I wanted to thank you," Rogue breathed, trying to sit up. He had a bandage around his face.

"You need to rest," Kagura ordered.

"I'm fine, my magic energy will restore before morning, Uncle taught us all how to fill our magic reserves quickly so this is no problem," Rogue smiled weakly.

"Despite that, I think it best that you rest," Kagura frowned, "Frosch will worry."

"He's been talking about you nonstop before he fell asleep, you found him and comforted him, not only that but you got him home and saved our lives," Rogue smiled.

"I did what I felt was necessary," Kagura smiled.

"Rogue you little devil get back in your bed and rest before I make you," a deep voice ordered. Kagura turned and saw a tall blue-haired mage with tribal-like markings; Acnologia.

"Uncle, I-" Rogue began defending.

"Get to sleep or I will throw you in the punishment box," Acnologia growled glaring at Rogue from behind Kagura.

Rogue scoffed, but he obeyed the order and settled back in the hospital bed.

"Come," Acnologia beckoned Kagura out of the room.

"Sir, I don't know who did this-" Kagura began, Acnologia held up his hand to silence her.

"I know who did, I didn't come here to question you," Acnologia spoke.

"Oh," Kagura nodded.

"You saved three members of my family, therefore, we dragon slayers owe you a great debt," Acnologia said gravely.

"I did what anyone else would have," Kagura said seriously.

"No, not everyone we met did help us. Two of my nephews met with Sabertooth mages who knew the location of our guild members and refused to help us... so that fact that you did is appreciated," Acnologia said. Kagura noticed that he didn't smile, he kept a grave face but his eyes displayed his thanks.

"... You mustn't hate Sabertooth too much, their master is-" Kagura began.

"I know, he's abusive, cruel, and concerned only with power... I pity his guild."

There was a moment of silence.

"...Will these three be alright?" Kagura asked finally.

"Sting is a heavy sleeper, but he should be fit enough to fight tomorrow, same with Rogue, and Wendy doesn't have to worry too much, the only thing to worry about is Erik's anger, he's never been good at controlling himself..." he said these things mostly to himself, and then he looked to Kagura, "But I appreciate your concern."

"I can stay and help."

"I can't ask that of you, your guild is probably concerned for your well-being as it is."

"Very well, thank you for your hospitality," Kagura said bowing to the dragon slayer. She began to walk away.

Acnologia turned to the window clenched his fist, "Raven Tail," he growled.

Kagura froze walking down the stairs; that man possessed so much power, she could sense it, and someone had just made him very angry.
