The moment Natsu stepped into the guildhall; he was attacked.

"SALAMANDER! NATSU! ONI-CHAN! NATSU-SAN! YOU IDIOT! BASTARD!" all six dragon slayers cried at once embracing him and making Lucy giggle.

"NATSSUUUU!" Happy cried pushing his way threw the dragon slayers and embracing Natsu. "STOP LEAVING ME!"

Natsu smiled little tears peppering his lashes, "Sorry little buddy."

"I am never leaving you again! Never ever EVER!" Happy cried burrowing into Natsu's scarf.

"Don't worry buddy, I'm not leaving you again."

"You better not," Laxus growled slapping Natsu upside the head.

"You wanna go!?" Natsu growled.

"THAT'S THE NATSU WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE!" Sting cried comical tears streaming down his face.

Natsu looked at Sting's bandaged chest and he looked away.

"Stop it," Erik sighed smaking Natsu upside the head.

"Hey, what the hell was that for!?" Natsu growled.

"For feeling guilty, it wasn't your fault," Erik chucked.

'Well... it kinda was...' E.N.D shrugged.

Erik gave Natsu a look and then grabbed his ear, "You tell that demon inside ya that if I ever see his face again I'm going to pound him."

'I'd like to see you try!'

'Stop talking!'

'I'm thinking you, idiot!'

'The hell you call me!?'

'Call US!? Get with the program!'

"NAATTSSUUUU!" someone cried extravagantly ending Natsu's and E.N.D's internal debate. Serena leaped over a building, through the doors, landed beside Natsu... and then picked him up bridal style. "Do not fear, even I have come to welcome you home!"

"Nice to see you, Serena," Natsu smiled.

"Glad your safe matchstick," Serena grinned. He then hoisted Natsu over his head, "THE CHILD HAS RETURNED!"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Natsu cried looking down.

"It's called dramatic effect," Serena grinned putting Natsu down.

Acnologia walked up and rubbed Natsu's hair lovingly, "I'm glad your safe." A shadow crossed his face.

"Uncle... what's wrong?" Gajeel asked. 

Acnologia faced a corner, a dark aura radiated off him. "Am I that bad a parent. When you guys mess up your first reaction is to run away. Am I that bad?"

Serena tried to suppress a giggle.

"WHAT!" Gajeel barked.

"Nonono, that's no it at all!" Natsu cried.

"You're a great parent!" Wendy grinned.

"Now.... please stop doubting yourself," Serena giggled before breaking into teared laughter, "That was one of the funniest things I've ever seen."

"So my teaching methods work?" Acnologia asked.

"Of course," Natsu grinned.

"Good," Acnologia smiled, then he turned around and hit Natsu on the head. "YOU LITTLE FIREWORK! WHAT. THE. HELL! YOU SCARED THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF THE WHOLE GUILD!"

Natsu smiled through his tears of happiness, "Sorry."

"Yeah, you're gonna be sorry, you know why!? Because you're grounded AGAIN!" Acnologia growled grabbing Natsu by his scarf and dragging him across the guildhall. "You're gonna clean this guildhall top to bottom AND THEN... Serena, did you finish that song you were writing?"

"YES!" Serena squealed with little stars in his eyes.

"AND THEN YOU AND ALL YOUR SIBLINGS WILL SING SERENA'S NEW SONG TO THE GUILD!"

"WHAT!" Natsu cried.

"What, now?" Erik shook.

"What did we do!?" Gajeel cried.

"You got stabbed, and he got burned, and he jumped into a bad situation, and YOU ALL ARE GROUNDED! Get up on that stage we're singing right now!"

"NO NO NO NO  NO!" Sting cried running towards the door. 

"ESCAPEEEE!" Rogue smiled going into his shadow and racing after Sting.

"You know, I think Sting left the stove off and I have to go... yeah!" Erik called limping towards the doorway.

"We don't even have a stove, you idiot!" Laxus snapped.

"Mmmm BYE!" Erik yelled hobbling down the street.

Gajeel and Laxus sighed and then looked to each other.

"I'll take the melody... only if you make Natsu sing it with me to drown me out," Laxus sighed.

"Deal," Gajeel grinned, "I'll grab my guitar."

Serena's song would have been great... if the dragon slayers weren't singing it.

"You're doing great sweeties!" Serena yelled as he manned the spotlight that he had somehow stowed in the guildhall.

The dragon slayers stood on stage all singing with grim expressions on their faces... every person except...

"TELL ME WHY!" Gajeel yelled into the microphone.

"Ain't nothing but a heartache," the other six moaned.

"TELL ME WHY!"

"Ain't nothing but a mistake."

"TELL ME WHYYYY!"

"I never want to hear you say," Natsu groaned.

"I want it that way," the six sighed.

"MORE EMOTION!" Serena cried.

"How much longer?" Makarov groaned banging his head on the bar.

"What?" Acnologia asked taking the earplugs out of his ears.

"Okay... take 367!" Serena laughed with stars in his eyes, "ACTION!"

Gajeel began strumming the chords on his guitar.

"Yeah-eh- heah," Natsu began... his voice had improved over the last hundred takes.

Gajeel strummed a few more notes.

"You are... my fire," Natsu sang a small fire appearing in his hand. "The one... desire, believe when I say... I want it that way..."

"But we..." Sting jumped in sending small glowing bits of light magic into the air, "Are two worlds apart.... can't reach to your heart." The guild members slowly took their earplugs out. "When you say... that I want it that way."

"Tell me why!?" Gajeel sang into the microphone before him while still strumming the guitar.

"Ain't nothin' but a heartache," Erik, Rogue, and Wendy sung harmonizing perfectly.

"Tell me why?"

"Ain't nothin' but a mistake. Tell me why?"

"I never want to hear you say" Gajeel smiled.

"I want it that way" they all sang.

"Am I?" Laxus sang, "You're fire?" His voice was actually beautiful, "Your one.... desire? Yes I, know it's too late... But I want it that way!"

"Tell me why?" Both Laxus and Gajeel sang harmonizing,

"Ain't nothin' but a heartache," Erik, Wendy, and Rogue responded.

"Tell me why!?" Gajeel sung solo.

"Ain't nothin' but a mistake" Sting and Natsu harmonized with the other three. "Tell me why?".

"I never want to hear you say!" Laxus sung his voice full of emotion, small lightning bolts danced at his feet.

"I want it that way!" They all sang Wendy adding a beautiful high note in the mix.

"Now I can see that we've fallen apart," Erik sang with a gorgeous deep voice that surprised almost every member of the guild. "From the way that it used to be." 

"Yeah," Sting and Rogue sang standing to either side of Erik.

"No matter the distance," Erik sang, he was joined by Wendy who sang in a clear high voice. "I want you to know... That deep down inside of me!" they both sang Wendy's high voice striking a note and ringing out clearly through the guild.

"You are... My fire," Rogue stepped in making the spotlight dim with his shadows, "The one desire... You are..."

"You are," Natsu chimed in softly.

"You are," Sting added. 

"You are!" Gajeel hummed.

"Don't want to hear you say!" Natsu sang holding the microphone close to his mouth and making a small fire go into the air and explode sending glowing embers dancing down. At the same time Rogue released his shadows from the lights making them brighten, Laxus sent lightning across the floor, Sting sent multiple small bright orbs floating threw the guild, Erik made a low cloud of maroon poison at their feet that danced around them like smoke (it wasn't too detrimental to their health) and Wendy sent a shock wave of fresh air out to the audience, literally blowing them away. Gajeel's hands became covered in metal so that the guitar sounded rawer and he could play it faster.

Ain't nothin' but a heartache!" they all sang, Natsu taking the solo part.

"Ain't nothin' but a mistake!" they all sang again Laxus took the solo part this time.

"Don't want to hear you say!" Natsu sang.

"I never want to hear you say!" They all, save Natsu, sang.

"I want it that way!" They all sang proudly

"Tell me why!" Gajeel sang strumming his guitar for all it was worth.

"Ain't nothin' but a heartache!" they answered.

"Tell me why!"

"Ain't nothin' but a mistake!"

"Tell me why!!" Gajeel sang with Wendy chiming in to accompany him.

"I never want to hear you say!" they all responded. Erik in the background sung "want to hear you say."

"I want it that way," they all sang.

"Tell me why??" Natsu sang holding the last note.

"Ain't nothin' but a heartache!" They sang, Natsu went up an impressive note, "Ain't nothin' but a mistake," they answered smiling each other as they danced minorly on the stage.

"Tell me why?" they all sang. "I never want to hear you say!"

"Never want to hear you say it," Rogue added as they sang.

"I want it that way!" they all sang.

"Cause I want it that way," Wendy ended her voice echoing sweetly through the guildhall.

There were a few moments of stunned silence before the guild erupted into cheers.

"HOLY COW, THEY CAN SING!"

"THAT WAS BRILLIANT!"

"WHAT THE HELL!?"

"GOOD JOB LAXUS-SAN!"

"SERENA YOU RUINED THEM!"

"AHHHHHHHH! THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!"

"ENCORE! I'M IN TEARS BACK HERE!"

"WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!?"

"OH MY GOSH, THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!"

"BEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN!"

"BLOODY BRILLIANT!"

Serena wiped a tear from the corner of his eye and smiled proudly at the dragon slayers... Acnologia meanwhile contemplated throwing himself out the window.

Natsu was back and the world couldn't have been better. After that the guild indeed watched the dragon slayers clean the guild top to bottom, but with a smirk, they realized that some of them were humming.

After the house cleaning was done; it was time to party. They threw a fairy tail party and that left everyone passed out... even Erik who rarely drank alcohol... Wendy was just simply exhausted but everyone else was going to be suffering a hangover the next day... save Cana of course.

Natsu slowly woke up feeling strange... and then he realized he couldn't control his body.

'What did you do?' Natsu growled.

'Morning to you to sunshine.'

'Give me back my body,' Natsu ordered.

'Hold on, I'm almost done-'

'Almost done with WHAT!" Natsu cried, he focused and suddenly he was back in his body, but he couldn't control his right hand which had a black marker in hand and was scribbling on Gray's face.

'He called us a name... I don't like it,' E.N.D chuckled cruelly as he continued to write.

'Oh. My. Go- Why didn't you wake me!?'

'What?'

'You're doing it wrong, you need to add glasses!'

'No way! That's too typical, I count at least five people in this guild with permanent marker glasses on their faces!'

He was right.

'Alright, but can you at least draw the flowers correctly!'

'Stop critiquing my art!'

'It's not art if you mess it up!'

'That's not how art works!'

'And how would you know!?'

'I don't know but that's how it is now!'

'That's it, give me my hand back!' Natsu's interior voice argued as he forced E.N.D's control out.

'No, I want to do it!' E.N.D cried childishly taking control of Natsu's other hand and snatching the marker from his right hand.

'Did you just... did you just make me snatch from myself?' Natsu gaped internally as his left-hand scribble messily on Gray.

'You got four hundred years of this nonsense, I get to have some fun now.'

'No, you don't!' Natsu reprimanded snatching the marker back with his right hand, his left hand then slapped his right hand, 'DID YOU JUST MAKE ME HIT MYSELF!'

'Hell yes you idiot, now give me that marker!' E.N.D hissed making Natsu's left hand go for the marker.

'NO!' Natsu argued back holding his right hand out as far as it could go.

'For the love of Zeref GIVE ME THE MARKER!'

'NO!'

'You are playing keep away from YOURSELF!'

'You slapped me!'

'I slapped us!'

"Will you two stop playing keep away!" Acnologia hissed from where he sat.

"Shit," both voices spoke at once.

"Sorry?" Acnologia asked.

"Sorry, Uncle, he made me do it," Natsu defended desperately.

"You son of a b-" E.N.D spoke allowed.

"We are the same person," Natsu retorted.

"So I take it you two worked out your differences," Acnologia chuckled.

"Yeah... we're... cool I guess," Natsu pondered.

Then his left hand snatched the marker out of his right hand.

"HA! SUCKER!" E.N.D cackled beginning to scribble on Gray's face.

"You little-" Natsu began.

"Keep the fights inside, please... I could hardly handle one of you and I have no idea how I'm going to last through this."

"Well, we agreed that he'd stay in my subconscious but I'd let him experience everything... Kinda let him get to access my senses. Of course the means he comments on everything," Natsu sighed.

'It's not my fault you can't sing 'I Want it That Way'," E.N.D cackled aloud.

"Then, what's going on here?" Acnologia chuckled looking to the two.

"Well, I don't know actually," Natsu sighed.

"Demons don't sleep... I got bored and he was asleep so I thought I'd have a little fun... It's not like I set anyone on fire, "E.N.D sighed.

"Yeah, now give me that marker!" Natsu growled.

"NO!"

"Give it to me!" Natsu hissed falling on his side and pinning his left hand.

"I'll write on us!" E.N.D threatened, pointing the marker towards Natsu's face.

"You wouldn't dare," Natsu growled.

"How much you want to bet you pitiful excuse for a prankster!" E.N.D growled. Natsu grabbed his left hand with his right hand. 

"Don't you dare!"

"Try to stop me!"

"I am this close to shutting my sense of feeling off from you!"

"WHAT!"

"YOU HEARD ME!"

"Internally you two... you don't want the entire guild to think you're crazy," Acnologia chuckled.

"Too late," Erik moaned from his sleeping bag.

The world should have been getting better. E.N.D was never going to be a problem again, except when he got hold of a permanent marker, and Natsu was home.

Except... it was going to get worse.
