Fairies vs Demons

Wendy and Charle walked down the cavern passage looking for Face.

"It's dark down here, I wish Sting or Uncle was with us, I can hardly see where I'm stepping," Wendy said walking down. Charle sighed, "Charle are you alright?"

"Yes, I'm just tired," Charle responded, "Don't worry about me; we have to find face quickly."

"But how? we don't know what it looks like," Wendy said worrying, "Oh what would Natsu do at a time like this?"

"Probably go on a rampage and destroy the cave," Charle laughed.

"Well then what would Erik do at a time like this?" Wendy asked.

"I wouldn't put destroying the cave past him," Charle sighed.

"If I had more power-" Wendy began contemplating.

"There are things you can do too, concentrate, feel your magic."

"Okay, I'll try," Wendy agreed. She felt a bug crawling on her leg and jumped ten feet in the air... then she found a swarm of them and proceeded in running as fast as her legs could carry her, Charle in her arms.

"I have no idea as to where we are now," Wendy panted after running for a few minutes.

"Stay calm, breathe deep Wendy," Charle coaxed.

"Breathe deeply?"

Wendy did so; the air was fresh so she ran forward.

"I think something important is about to happen," Charle said.

What's with this munchkin?" Ezel asked from above. "Damn you Kyoka, you promised me a powerful wizard."

Ezel launched himself at Wendy who jumped away, "Tartaros!" she cried.

"Right you are, Kyoka told me there would be some fools who tried to stop face and gave me permission to devour them, but you won't fill me up!" Ezel laughed.

After a few moments of pointless running, Wendy tried to face Ezel. Her attacks were useless and didn't affect Ezel at all. The fight continued on, Wendy attempting to hurt Ezel and Ezel only laughing.

"OGRE CIRCLE!" Ezel laughed.

"Wendy dodge!" Charle cried.

Wendy braced herself for the attack, the beam of light rushing towards her. Nothing happened.

Wendy opened her eyes and saw that she had been pulled aside by...

"Oniichan," Wendy whispered when she looked up at Erik.

"Next time you go flying off, take someone with you okay?" Erik scoffed.

"That's better, a much more filling meal," Ezel laughed.

"Oh, so this one wants to eat me huh?" Erik laughed, poison surrounded his now scaly hands, "Well I hate to break it to you but even if you beat me, I'm deathly poisonous."

"Will you be alright Oniichan?" Wendy asked.

"Yes, go find Face, quickly," Erik yelled jumping into action.

"Right," Wendy nodded. She and Charle continued on.

Meanwhile back at the Tartaros guild Seilah, and Lamy had been taken down by Lisanna, Mira, and Elfman who had jumped in just in time.

"So Erza, do you still think you can beat me?" Kyoka laughed.

"YES!" Erza yelled slamming her spear into Kyoka.

Kyoka pushed Erza away and smiled manically, "Neo Minerva, bring vengeance upon this human," Kyoka laughed.

Erza looked up to see Neo Minerva jumping out of the cube, "Yes miss," she nodded lunging for Erza.

"M-Minerva," Erza said in horror just barely blocking the attack.

Minerva's eyes were dark and void, she was mindlessly obeying Kyoka.

"Amazing what you can do to a human isn't it," Kyoka laughed.

"Minerva, snap out of it!" Erza yelled attacking the mage.

"It's no use, she is no longer a human, she is a puppet of the demon king... a servant to lord Zeref," Kyoka laughed.

Erza and Neo Minerva struggled with each other.

"Minerva... please," Erza begged.

Minerva only looked up sadly.

"That's it," Wendy said in awe looking at the grand white face.

"Quickly, we must destroy it!" Charle cried.

Suddenly the wall to their side burst open and Ezel burst through.

"We're not done, runt!" Ezel laughed slightly bruised.

"Where's Erik?" Charle asked her eyes wide.

"Oh, you mean this one?" Ezel asked as he held up a battered and bruised Erik.

"Oniichan!" Wendy cried.

Erik couldn't respond; he hung limply, bleeding in several places.

"He was hardly a challenge," Ezel cackled. He threw Erik across the room where he landed in a heap and lunged for Wendy knocking her aside.

"Wendy!" Charle cried. Ezel descended pinning the sky dragon slayer down.

"Look, Face will go off in five minutes," Ezel teased, "Since we're right under it there's a huge amount of ethernanos, I can't stand the stink."

"Ethernanos," Charle repeated slowly.

"But those ethernanos things destroy magic and after the continent is robbed of magic, curses will rule the world," Ezel laughed.

"Ethernanos," Charle repeated again, "that's it!"

"But before that, I will pulverize you," Ezel laughed, he applied more pressure to Wendy's pinned down arm, she cried out in pain... Erik was too weak to do anything.

"Let go of Wendy!" Charle cried attacking Ezel with her claws, "You big brute, you ruffian, release her!"

"Charle," Wendy cried out weakly.

"Let go of her! Let go of her!" Charle cried blindly scratching.

"Don't! Get away from him," Wendy choked.

"Release her! You stupid-" Charle cried. Ezel moved to grab her.

"Charle FLY AWAY!" Wendy cried.

Ezel grabbed Charle, "What is this? Can I eat it?"

"No! Don't please!" Wendy begged as she struggled.

Ezel moved to eat Charle.

"NO!" Wendy cried.

"Wendy, the air," Charle said weakly.

The air; Wendy realized it was filled with ethernanos, if she could get them into her body, she might become strong enough to defeat Ezel.

She began to take deep breaths.

Ezel was blasted upward by a huge breath of wind.

"What the!?" Ezel cried.

Charle fell to the ground, safe.

Wendy got to her feet continuing to inhale the ethernanos.

'Wendy, you were so weak and mild before,' Chare thought as she smiled. 'Now look at you, you have the...'

"Dragon force," Erik finished in awe trying merely to hold his head up.

Now the tables had turned. Wendy had landed multiple hits on Ezel who had been forced to unleash his etherious form.

'I can hear the voice of the wind' Wendy thought, 'I sense the pulse of the air... right now I control... this space!"

She hit Ezel two more times.

"Incredible," Charle smiled.

"Charle," Erik said weakly. Charle looked to the fallen dragon slayer. Weakly he lifted his hand and pointed to the time. 4:25.

"Wendy, there's no time!" Charle cried.

"I know, I'll finish this now!" Wendy cried raising her fists.

"What is this!?" Ezel cried looking at the wind around him his etherious form shaking.

"Sky dragon secret art! Shattering Light; Sky drill!" Wendy cried unleashing the spell.

"My cursed blade can cut through anything!" Ezel laughed like that he threw Wendy off her feet.

"Wendy!" Charle cried.

"No," Erik gasped pulling himself to his feet.

"The time!" Charle cried.

"Prepare to die!" Ezel laughed throwing his sword hands towards Wendy. Then a sphere of poison rammed into his side, it was Erik.

"Hands off my sister," he gritted.

"You again!" Ezel scoffed slashing at Erik.

It took all of Erik's strength just to jump away.

"No Oniichan," Wendy said stumbling to her feet.

"I won't let you hurt her," Erik gasped holding his bleeding side.

"I'll feast on you after I'm done!" Ezel laughed lunging at Erik.

"NO!" Wendy cried as Erik once again went flying.

"Ha, now let's finish this fight little one," Ezel laughed.

"I ... control... this space!" Wendy cried. The wind began surrounding Ezel.

"It's pointless," Ezel chuckled "my curse blade can cut through anything!"

'More,' Wendy thought, 'Gather more wind, I need more.'

Ezel was slashing threw wind but there was simply too much.

"What!? The wind, it's clinging to me!" Ezel cried.

"All I need is a little more, please just a little more," Wendy begged in a whisper.

Ezel broke free and lunged at Wendy.

"I just need some of the power..." Wendy prayed

"Wendy!" Charle cried out on horror.

"That uncle has," she finished. Then she lifted her hands and shattered Ezel's cursed blade killing him, and destroying face. Erik smiled weakly as did Charle.

"The face, it's about to self-destruct!" Charle cried looking back to face.

"Wendy, get out," Erik breathed.

"No," Wendy said reverting back to her form. She had a few cuts and bruises but nothing too severe, Erik, on the other hand, couldn't stand and Charle was too weak she could barely sit up. Wendy picked up Charle and lifted Erik up trying to support him.

"Go, Wendy, I'll slow you down," Erik wheezed.

"No, I can't leave family behind," Wendy said lugging them out of the cave.

"Wendy, there's no time, save yourself," Charle cried.

"No," Wendy said firmly.

The timer continued to count down and they weren't even close the exit.

"Wendy you have to go," Erik cried.

"Never, just keep moving," Wendy urged.

Erik had no more strength to argue and simply agreed.

Light began to fill the chamber and Erik began to shudder.

"Leave me, Wendy, you have to go," he insisted.

Wendy stopped and knelt down she looked up at her older brother, Charle who was still in her arms looked up at her sadly. Wendy hugged her brother, "it's too late Oniichan," Wendy choked.

"I'm sorry Wendy," Erik said hugging his sister, "I should have been able to protect you, I should-I should have been able to save you."

"I love you Oniichan, and I love you Charle," Wendy cried burrowing her face in Erik's bloodstained cloak.

"Wendy," Charle cried hugging Wendy.

"I love you too," Erik said holding Wendy close.

The cave erupted in light and all three closed their eyes. Hands grabbed Erik and Wendy and before they could blink they were safe.

"What... do you three... think... you're doing," Mest panted behind them, they were far away from the cave.

"Mest?" all three asked.

"You're alive!" Erik laughed.

"Do you know what your uncle would do if you guys died?" Mest panted.

"Thank you, Mest," Wendy smiled wiping away her tears.

"Don't thank me yet, look," Mest said pointing at Faces scattering the mountainside.

"Oh no," Charle choked.

"All that... for-" Wendy whispered.

"We have to do this," Erik hissed pushing himself to a sitting position, "Mest, go tell the other guilds what to do, me and Wendy have it from here," Erik ordered.

"Alright," Mest agreed, disappearing.

"We can't do this by ourselves," Wendy cried.

"Not with that attitude we can't," Erik smiled weakly.

(Meanwhile)

"You humans are so annoying," Mard Geer sighed casting Alegria, turning the cube into a monster Plutogrim.

"What is this!?" Sting cried trying to shake the disgusting pink stuff off him.

"Watch out!" Acnologia cried, the pink goo had already caught his claws and was slowly climbing up his dragon body. His magic was nullified so he wasn't able to transform or use any form of magic; however, he was able to keep his head from going under. Everyone else, other than Lucy, was trapped.

Lucy was a brave soul and was holding off Jackal, Tempester, and Torafuzar on her own... well with her spirits by her side. Unfortunately, it was all too much, and Lucy pushed herself to the limits summoning a third spirit; Aquarius. Torafuzar was able to strike Aquarius down, then Leo and Virgo fell victim to Jackal's explosions.

Acnologia growled struggling against his bonds.

"Ah, so the grand dragon is trapped," Mard Geer supposed walking along the top of the cube coming to meet Acnologia.

"Come closer I dare you. I could take a snack right now," Acnologia threatened.

"Oh no, I couldn't do that, I'd much rather have you watch your guild fall," Mard Geer laughed.

"I can't sacrifice anyone," Lucy cried.

"You have to!" Aquarius cried as she held Jackal back.

"I won't be in here forever, I will kill you," Acnologia growled.

"I'd like to see you try," Mard Geer laughed.

"I'm gonna make you eat those words."

"No one can stop Pl-" Mard Geer began.

"Hmm, what's that?" Acnologia asked looking to the distance. Mard Geer turned around in shock to see the Celestial Spirit King destroying Plutogrim.

"My old foe returns... I'm amazed he could have been summoned."

"Surprise," Acnologia said halfheartedly. He knew the cost of summoning such a strong ally... Aquarius was gone.

(Flashback)

Acnologia was 16, and he was trudging down a beach, Anna's birthday was the next day and he had found nothing to work as a present. Why did this suddenly matter? He had no idea, he didn't know why he was scouring God's green earth to find a meaningless gift that signifies that one is one year closer to death... he was just doing it. As he walked he scuffed up sand and when something hard and semi-pointy hit his toe he swore and jumped up and down in a very undignified manner. He looked down to chuck whatever had stabbed him and found a golden celestial key sticking out of the sand. The key to the water-bearer Aquarius.

Perfect.

(Present Time)

Mard Geer and the Celestial Spirit King clashed while a heartbroken Lucy destroyed Jackal. Lucy collapsed and the Celestial Spirit King weakened, he cast Galaxia Blade freeing all the mages and petrifying Mard Geer. Acnologia took to the sky in an effort to destroy all the faces that had appeared.

Meanwhile, Tempester, Torafuzar, Keyes, and Silver all converged on Lucy's location.

"This is why you go for the kill," Torafuzar sighed as he stood over Lucy, "She's far too dangerous!" with that he prepared to strike.

"Fins off fishy," Gajeel growled slamming into him.

"Gajeel," Lucy smiled.

"It can't be, only the girl is supposed to be left," Torafuzar said in awe.

Keyes materialized and lunged for Gajeel, "Alegria has been broken, how... unexpected." Gajeel turned but was too late, "Still the Fairies will be annihilated!"

There was a stream of water between Gajeel and Keyes.

"Water Nebula!" Juvia cried.

"Juvia," Lucy said weakly.

"Juvia won't let you lay a finger on her friends," Juvia said.

Then Silver walked up, "freeze," he ordered. Juvia's water began doing so.

Then two different ice attacks nullified it and attacked Silver.

"We don't think so," Gray and Lyon laughed in sync.

"They canceled out Silver's ice," Keyes pondered.

Then Tempester leaped down in between the ice mages.

"You-" Gajeel growled.

"Burn," Tempester said engulfing the group in a sphere of fire. Well... until Natsu started engulfing them.

"I don't know what just happened Luce, but I know you just saved our lives," Natsu smiled "I get the sense you did anyway."

Lucy could only smile in response.

"Not bad for a bunny girl," Gajeel joked.

"Not let us take care of everything," Juvia smiled.

"You get your rest," Gray nodded.

"We have it from here," Lyon nodded.

"Oh boy, I'm all fired up," Natsu laughed.

They squared off with the demons each of them gauging each other's strengths and weaknesses.

"Natsu, you know who that guy is right?" Gajeel asked.

"Yeah," Natsu nodded.

"And who exactly am I?" Tempester asked.

At this Natsu smiled, "Oh that's easy, you're the guy I'm gonna tear apart for hurting Laxus."

Silver was the first to strike, he grabbed Lyon and Gray and left the battlefield. "I have these two," he said.

Then Juvia struck giving Keyes a blast of Water to the skeleton's face. Gajeel and Torafuzar clashed as did Natsu and Tempester.

Lyon and Gray fought gallantly against Silver... but the demon slayer was far too strong for both of them. Lyon was eventually knocked unconscious leaving Gray to deal with the ice demon slayer who he knew all too well.

Gray and his father began to exchange blows each mocking and yelling at the other. Gray's father was easily besting him

"I don't like the way you play!" Gajeel yelled hitting Torafuzar who was trying to hit Gajeel in the back.

"DIE!" Natsu yelled attacking Tempester.

"What do you mean by that?" Juvia asked as she attacked Keyes.

"Exactly what I said, Silver is not who he says he is," Keyes chuckled.

Gray was thrown into the dirt his face contorting in pain.

"Yeah that's the face I want, I'm going to twist that pretty face of yours in pain," Silver laughed, "Then once I'm done with you I'll go finish off pretty boy over there," Silver laughed looking over to where Lyon lay.

"Don't you dare," Gray gritted getting to his feet.

"I wonder what will happen to Ur when I throw both of your mangled corpses to her feet. She'll be destroyed, driven to the point of madness, and after I'm done there, I'll kill her too," Silver laughed.

"And after that, I'll hunt down all of Acnologia's children, he'll pay as well, then I'll kill every friend you and Lyon ever had, every love, everyone you've ever cared about will be killed!"

Gray gritted his teeth and prepared to attack again.

"I want to kill everyone who made me stop, who allowed Acnologia to find and kill me... I could have been on the move but three ice mages distracted me... and in doing so almost killed me!"

"What," Gray said as he shook in anger.

"I am not Silver; my name is Deliora. There is no way in hell you've forgotten my name!"

"No way... Acnologia disintegrated you, I saw it."

"Yes that is true, I was dead for years, but when Tartaros built their hell's core regeneration system I had another chance at revenge."

"You're here for revenge? Revenge!?"

"Trying to kill Acnologia would be suicide all over again. I found that blaming Ur and her students satisfied my anger just as well. You're having a hard time believing me, I can tell, I can show you my trued form if you'd like. You know the one from your nightmares! The monster that slaughtered your whole family!"

"DELIORA!" Gray yelled attacking Silver.

"Oh so Ur's little shadow has come to play," Silver cackled.

The two went at it for a while until Gray was bested by Silver's superior devil slaying ice magic. Then Gray manipulated the ice just as he had in the ice village.

"There's ammo everywhere, I learned something about this ice back at the sun village," Gray smiled putting his hands down, "I can channel it threw my body and reshape it however please."

"What do you mean!?" Silver growled.

"As you've repeatedly mentioned, slayer mages can consume any magic of their own element, but I'm pretty sure there's an exception to that," Gray smiled.

"No way man, I can't just eat my own fire!" Natsu objected.

"Yeah, just like I can't eat my own light, or how Rogue can't eat his Shadow," Sting laughed from the top of the guildhall.

"What are you, crazy?" Natsu scoffed.

Gray channeled the ice through him and sent it towards Silver, "this one's for my entire freakin family!"

"Good try, I can't eat my own ice, but it's still ice, so it can't hurt me," Silver laughed, "when will you realize what you're up against, it's me Gray, Deliora, I'm here to kill you and nothing else!"

Another few attacks from Silver landed Gray in a sad state. Collapsed on the floor exhausted. Silver continued to taunt him until Gray gave another desperate attempt.

"I won't let you hurt... anyone... anyone else," Gray panted as Silver dodged his lance attack.

"The human hearts a stupid thing, it hopes without reason. Ice can't hurt me," Silver smiled, "and everything here's covered in it, that means you lose."

"Not yet... there's still a spell I can stop you with... Ur almost used it that night... if she had succeeded I would have lost her... So I hope she knows that I'm sorry," Gray said getting into the position of Ice Shell.

"You're obviously bluffing, I've already proven that ice attacks can't hurt me, are you seriously going to throw away your life to prove me right!? What chance do you have once you're dead? You can't honestly go through with this we both know this won't work!"

"What makes you so sure?"

"Don't do this!" Silver yelled... his voice had changed; it was more human now... more scared, "You'll die!"

"I'll do anything to stop you!"

"NO GRAY!" Lyon yelled weakly, he had awakened only a few moments before, "DON'T DO IT, PLEASE!"

"Listen to your friend, don't do this!" Silver ordered.

"ICE SHELL!" Gray yelled.

"Stop!" Silver cried, trying to stop it.

Silver froze gray into an ice statue - a fake, the real gray appeared behind him, "You killed my family," he breathed unleashing the spell.

"Lyon if you ever try anything like that again I'll pound you into snow!" Ur yelled grasping Lyon.

"Don't you know how important you are to this family? Don't disappear without telling us where you're going, you gave us all a scare," Lyon sighed sitting down neat to Gray after a job.

"You're like a brother to me Gray... thank you," Ultear whispered as she left their training camp.

"I love you, Gray," Juvia smiled.

"YOU'RE ICE SHELL HAS FAILED!" Silver cried taking the power and throwing it back at him.

"I'm so sorry," Gray whispered, "I almost forgot about the important people in my life." Suddenly that Gray broke apart into ice.

"Another Ice dummy!?" Silver cried.

Gray was behind him, "I refuse to die!" he yelled holding up a steel ball in his hand.

"A cannonball, how did you get that!?" Silver cried.

"Melted the ice around it, just like I did in the sun village!"

Gray raised his hand, transforming it into a huge arm of ice and threw the cannonball through Silver.

"I knew you had it in you," Silver smiled falling to the ground.

Gray didn't relish in his victory he looked down at the dying man a lump forming in his throat.

"Dammit," Gray choked looking away, "Did you think I wouldn't realize, just how stupid do you think I am?"

"What are you talking about?" Lyon whispered.

"Dammit, why... why?!" Gray cried. "You lied to me, you aren't Deliora... you are my dad... I know you are."

"If you kill me, Silver dies as well," Keyes laughed.

"But why... what do you wish to accomplish!" Juvia cried.

"That old bag of bones, the necromancer uses dead bodies like puppets but with me, he wanted to change things up and try something different," Silver choked.

"What do you mean?" Gray asked in horror.

"He was getting bored having corpses do his bidding, he wanted to actually bring one back. There was no special reason why he chose me, just dumb luck and somehow I've been able to keep living for this long, but then again, I wouldn't call this living. Over those years I went crazy, all I could think about was getting revenge, killing the demons that took my family from me. I was in a strange life, I was in a guild of demons but I slew as many as I could without their knowledge. I'm sorry about that village, that was a mistake, I thought the dragon was a demon, anyway, I had a plan, I would get rid of all the demons I could find, then I would move on to my pals in Tartaros. But one day... that day, the final day of the grand magic games... I saw you. I thought you had died alongside Mica and me, but I learned you were alive, I learned you had an adoptive brother, I learned Ur had raised you, I learned that you were in the strongest guild in Fiore, and I learned how much you had grown. I made a realization that day, my hands... these hands were stained with blood," Silver choked looking up at his raised hands. "After all I had done, I wasn't fit to take revenge, I didn't deserve it anymore."

"So instead... you just wanted to die?" Gray asked softly.

"I told you, I've been dead too long," Silver sighed sitting up, "I just wanted it to be over. My revenge... I wanted you to carry it out.

"Is that was this is!? Why would you make me go through all this!?" Gray cried.

"To free you... of your demons," Lyon answered slowly walking up to the battleground... "The demons you and I have held inside ourselves for too long."

Gray shook and looked like he wanted to collapse.

"It's going to be okay," Silver soothed "Even after all this is over, I know you'll be just fine."

"Gray?" Lyon asked looking to the ice mage.

"I acted like a monster to you, I know I hurt you, I hope you'll forgive me," Silver smiled.

"He did it so you could put the past behind you... so you could slay the demon that's been chasing you," Lyon said weakly.

"It's better if you just put me behind you," Silver smiled, "I mean, I've had a long time in this world... it's time for me to go."

"How can you say that?" Gray asked, "Whatever happened, you're still my dad."

"No. A man who dreamed of hurting his child... a man like that is no father," Silver shook tears filling his eyes.

"That's not you!"

"I'm done talking, just finish me off."

"You just want to be able to rest in peace?" Gray asked summoning an ice sword.

"I do... I just want to be with your mother."

"Gray?" Lyon asked.

Gray hesitated.

"Do it, I deserve to die for what I've done. For Face, for murdering those council members, I AM YOUR ENEMY SO KILL ME!" Silver cried.

"You're right, even if you are my father by blood you're still an enemy of Fairy Tail... and Fairy Tail if my family. We punish those who hurt our own... and stand against us... Those who do us wrong!" Gray said standing over Silver, blade raised.

"You live exactly as you should," Silver smiled.

"I know," Gray nodded, he was crying, "But I could never bring myself to kill you, dad!"

Lyon stood by watching his brother's pain with sadness.

"I know," Silver smiled, "that's because you are a good person." With that Silver got to his feet and hugged Gray, "no matter what happens this body isn't going to last much longer."

"I've missed you so much dad," Gray choked.

"I know, I've missed you too son," Silver smiled. "I'm proud of the man you've grown up to be... so proud. I wish your mother could see you now."

Gray began to weep in his father's arms.

"Hey girl?" a voice inside Juvia's head asked.

"Who is this?" She asked back mentally.

"Just to make sure, you're Gray's girlfriend right?"

Juvia blushed, "Oh that's a little complicated," she squealed, "Are you his father?"

"Yes, and I don't have much time so listen, the decrepit old skeleton your fighting, that Keyes the weakest of the demon gates. You have to find a way to beat him, he's the necromancer, and he's controlling the dead chief councilman who can set off the thousands of Faces all over this continent."

"Th-thousands!"

"Yes, and they will go off soon unless you take that bag of bones down. Not Even Acnologia can cover all that distance."

"But sir, if I do that... won't you die?"

"I guess Keyes told you that... oh well, you have to do it; it's the only way to save Gray."

"Then... then I will do it," Juvia nodded.

"Whoosh," Tempester hissed and Natsu was engulfed with wind.

"I'm getting really sick of ya," Natsu yelled.

"Rumble," Tempester said and Natsu was shocked with lightning and sent flying past Gajeel who was fighting Torafuzar.

"The more you howl the more you continue to prove my point," Torafuzar growled.

"So tell me, how about I prove another point... the one that's at the end of my fist! Iron dragon sword!"

Torafuzar was unaffected by the blow.

"You're catchphrases suck!" Natsu roared running past Gajeel.

"SHUT UP!" Gajeel roared back.

The fights went on.

"Minerva!" Erza yelled attacking Minerva.

"Territory," Minerva whispered switching places with Erza and sending her flying.

"Oh this is so much fun," Kyoka laughed.

'Kyoka,' Mard Geer ordered in Kyoka's mind.

'Yes?'

'Enough, you must ensure that Face activates!'

'It will be done.'

With that Kyoka jumped away leaving the mages to fight.

"Minerva, listen to me," Erza said pinning Minerva down, "this is a pointless battle, don't make me hurt you!"

Minerva lunged breaking Erza's sword, "I am Neo Minerva, a superior mage."

"No, you are Minerva, guild master of Sabertooth, minor guild under the power of Fairy Tail." Erza bit back punching Minerva into a wall.

"I... am," Minerva gritted. Erza's fist connected with her again and she crashed into the wall.

"You have friends waiting for you back home! Yukino cries for you, Sting and Rogue are worried out of their minds, everyone in Sabertooth prays for your safe return, listen to them, Minerva! Come back, come back to them!"

"Erza," Minerva breathed looking at the scarlet haired mage.

"I bested you once do not make me do that again," Erza pleaded.

"Please Erza," Minerva asked her voice turning into a beg, "Kill me... I've fallen prey to darkness, kill me please!"

"So you are still in there," Erza smiled helping the mage up.

"I am in Tartaros... if they wish they can kill me... hells core gives them that power."

"Then you have nothing else to fear, Mira has destroyed Hells core, Warren has already told me so," Erza said soothing Minerva.

"How disappointing, but it isn't surprising," Mard Geer smiled walking up, "humans can be so annoyingly loyal to their own."

"Mard Geer," Minerva shivered.

"The master of Tartaros then?" Erza asked.

Minerva nodded in response.

"Well done Spirit King, that spell took me a while to break out of, but it didn't hold me forever," Mard Geer chuckled, "And I've sent Kyoka to run an errand which leaves me to..."

"Erza, run," Minerva begged.

"Where were we, ah yes, cleaning out the trash," Mard Geer smiled sending a ray of white light towards Minerva.

"Minerva!" Erza cried.

There was an explosion and both Erza and Minerva were surprised to find themselves unscathed.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" Sting asked emerging from the smoke in front of Minerva.

"The master of the guild," Rogue smiled emerging next to Sting.

"We've been looking for you my friend," Sting laughed.

"Sting, Rogue," Erza laughed in relief.

"Minerva are you alright?" Sting asked.

Minerva smiled fondly at the two.

"Sabertooth's waiting for you," Rogue smiled.

"More dragon slayers," Mard Geer sneered.

"Send the devil our regards," Rogue snarled.

The twin dragon slayers lunged for Mard Geer.

"Erza, you have to go stop the Faces, apparently there are thousands, find a way to stop them!" Sting yelled while engaged in battle.

"I will help," Minerva nodded.

"Yeah, we're here to help you guys too!'" Lector smiled soaring above Erza and Minerva, Frosch was with him.

"Good luck to you two," Erza said running back.

"Luck? Don't need it," Sting smiled.

"No, but you will be begging for Mercy once I'm done with you," Mard Geer smiled.

"You took the words out of my mouth," Rogue growled.
