I opened my eyes to be met with a guard.

"Oh, hello, what's going on?" The dragon I had been laying on, startled awake as well.

"What is going on?!" He asked, obviously irritated that he was awoken.

"Oh...hello Dragon! We need the princess and you to the battle room..." He said. With a scared tone of voice.

I only rubbed my eyes and sat up. My maid came and fixed me up while the Dragon went ahead. I wondered what they needed me for.

They wouldn't give me up. Would they? They love their daughter more than anything!

I mean, I don't think they would give me up as a sacrifice. I don't think he would plan to hurt me, but they don't know that!

As soon as I was dressed is my golden dress, I walked elegantly down the stairs and hall to the battle room. When I walked in, everyone went quiet.

I looked around confused. "Umm, I am here?" I said.

"Honey, we think..." Then my mother burst into tears. I went to comfort her but she pushed me, startling me so I fell flat on my butt.

I stared in shock, see fell to her knees and kept sobbing. I looked to my father while 2 guards came to pick me up.

He turned away from me. "What's going on!?" I yelled. I admit it wasn't the best thing to do but I needed to know.

The dragon spoke up, "your parents have decided, they needed to keep the kingdom safe. So your coming with me," he said putting his head down.

I was taken aback...I dared not question the Dragon but, how could they? I ran away crying.

The only one who came after me was that Dragon. He ran up to me to my room and curled his body around me. I turned and higher his scales. Still crying.

"How-How c-could they-y?!"

"Oh, Princess, don't blame yourself! They are terrible people!" He said softly.

"I wanna go now. I don't wanna see them ever again!" He nodded and he encased me in his claws.

"Ready?" He asked.

I nodded and replied, "I am ready!"

Then we took off. I was used to it so I spread my hands out to feel the air.

I laughed at how fun it was! I couldn't stop. Every once in a while he would a trick, like fly back and forth or throw me in the air or speed down then up and spinning in a circle.

It was so much fun!

We finally reached the same cave Drake had taken me to. He set me down and flew off.

"Hello? Drake? Its me! Madison?" I yelled into the cave.

I heard footsteps approach me, but in my eyes, i found something I did not expect to see.
