Lonely Natsu

Song: Depression

Natsu

The world around me came to be the color grey. It was all I could see, with the chilly coldness that struck me beneath my skin. I didn't know why, but it felt as if I was alone, even in a room filled with people, I was the only one actually there. Maybe I was just really sad, or really lonely when Lucy left.

How could she have trusted that girl so easily? Lucy didn't even know her and she left before I knew the girl's name.

"He's really sad..." The voice echoed in a distance, but Happy's little body was next to me. I put my head down on the bar, for some reason growing tired as if I haven't had any sleep. It has been hard sleeping, but I'm usually one to easily pass out. "Poor Natsu. He hasn't even eaten his lunch." Mira's soft, calming voice echoed. I just wanted to go back to the apartment, maybe have some shut eye for awhile. Mavis, I'm really exhausted.

"Nonsense! Master has made us Team A, and Natsu is a part of the team. So as Lucy trains, then so do we." A metal hand laid itself on my back, then pulling me to sit up. Of course it was Erza. "Come on Natsu. We can leave Magnolia for the next three months, train up and then be the first ones to make it to Crocus. You would like that wouldn't you?" I turned my eyes, not even seeing Erza, but only a shadow of her. Even her vibrant red hair never showed, nothing but the color of darkness.

"Erza, I don't think that'll help us." Happy sighed and sat down next to me. His little furry head placed itself on my arm, staying there. Another living shadow came forward carrying something in its arms. "Maybe I can help, I've gotten my strength back, and I've learned some few tricks from Porlyusica." The little shadow put the thing down on the bar, then placing their small hands on top of my shoulders. "Natsu? Can you guide me where your pain hurts?"

My pain, it was everywhere. From the tips to my toes to where my scalp was in my head. It was nothing but pain. However, it started in a particular area, one that I least imagined. I wanted to show her, Wendy, but my mouth wouldn't let me speak. They've sown themselves shut for good. "Natsu? Are you able to tell me?"

I shook my head but pointed to my chest instead. Wendy gently laid her hands where I pointed, the calming aura warming me slowly. I heard her gasp. "Oh, my friends...I can't help him. No one can." Wendy pulled away. The shadows around me seemed to tense like they were worried. "Then what can help him Wendy? What's wrong with him?"

"It's his heart, it holds grief beyond to where I can't heal him. The only person to ease his depression is Lucy." Why did she have to leave Fairy Tail? Why couldn't I go with her? "Maybe there's a way I can make him energetic, so that way he's always moving to where he'll be too tired to think. Let me see..." The green aura came back, this time on my temples, the world was suddenly growing more colorful, bright, warm...

My heart beat was growing rapidly, almost like I needed to run miles to make it calm itself down. My stomach was rumbling, fists scrambling to throw some punches at Stripper. "I... I really need to eat some grub!" I grabbed a hold of the plate in front of me, chowing down the chicken to the bone. My friends seemed to look relieved at me, I turned still chewing food. "When are we gonna train? I need to get to get stronger for the games!" Wendy smiled sitting next to me after Happy flew off the bar table and onto my shoulder. "We'll be leaving tomorrow morning, so get packed because we're going to an isolated island off the coast in Hargeon."

I nodded waving at Mira to bring me more food. After this I'm gonna head home to pack with Happy!

Gwen released my shoulder, inhaling the fresh air of her Realm. We moved so fast through one realm to another I still couldn't hear or see relatively well, but I was already regaining my senses the second I lost them. "Finally! It's good to be home."

I rubbed my eyes, eventually seeing the sight. I was facing down at the grass, for some reason, it was yellow, holding patches of a blue tint to it. I slowly brought my eyes up, my heart dropping at the view nearly making me fall over.

Trees were gleaming colors or red and purple, the roots that stuck from the ground had moss glowing green. The sky above us held a moon that was a vibrate blue, with four other planets in view. A river that wasn't very far from where we were allowed fishes to fly up to the other level of the lake. There were orbs of light being held in the trees, some actually floating away changing to different colors. Over the planets in the sky, was a dark void that disadvantages me to see what the planets looked like, but you could clearly see the moon because of the light. Far to where the eyes could see, were small islands that didn't float away because of the tree roots holding it down from where we were. Gwen began to run through the enchanting forest not even caring about our bags. Still awestruck, I ran after to catch up with her. "Gwen, wait!"

"Solantir! Solantir I'm home!" There was a stone stairway that was covered in the green glowing moss which Gwen took to reach the elevated ground from where the waterfall was created. Gwen continued calling for her Dragon, not minding even if her voice echoed throughout the realm. I reached her eventually, gasping for air when Gwen called for her foster dad one last time. "Pops! Come on I'm finally back!"

It was silent for a couple of minutes, Gwen never took her eyes off the sky, where the stars shined down at us. Gwen whispered to herself, "Come on Pops..." Gwen put her hand over her heart, never taking her foggy eyes out of the sky. I took a step forward. "Gwen..." I began saying. "maybe you can call for him in the morning. It is nighttime." Gwen was silent for a few minutes until she sighed. "I guess so, but he doesn't usually do this. I hope he's alright." I put my hand on her shoulder to ease her worrying. "He's a Dragon, I believe he'll be just fine."

Gwen laughed to herself. "Alright, but no matter what, we begin training tomorrow, I just hope he'll be here when we wake up." Gwen turned back, going back to the stone steps to grab our bags. I stood in place, putting my attention to the sky, very closely, I could see the outlines of the constellations. I smiled, knowing my friends were watching over me. "Huh?" I traced the lines of the stars, making an unknown shape.

A constellation of a Dragon.
