(Y/N) yawned and stretched, not wanting to leave her comfy bed. It was morning, the sunlight illuminated her messy room.

Ugh....what a drag...There's school today...

She sighed and stood up, her hair a complete mess. She tried to smile and bumped her fists against each other. I can do this!

"Yosh! Another day...I can do this!" She exclaimed, trying to be confident. But she was so exhausted...

Ugh... She groaned and put on her ninja clothes; the black sleeveless tanktop that had straps falling from her shoulders, her grey shorts, and weapon holder. She slipped on her fingerless black gloves and tied her hair in ponytails.

Yosh! Naruto must be waiting for me at the academy already...I mustn't be late!

"Listen up! Since Naruto missed it, everyone we'll have to redo the Transformation Jutsu exam!" Iruka sensei exclaimed. Naruto had gotten in trouble in the morning and Iruka had gone to catch him.

"Eh!" (Y/N) said with a whine. But that one's so boring!

The others protested from their seats, while the Uchiha just hmphed.

"Line up and transform into me perfectly!"

Ugh! (Y/N) groaned in frustration. She sat next to Naruto,who looked guilty. Duckbutt was behind them, with his poker face. Ino and Pinkie were arguing about who would impress Duckbutt with her transformation. (Y/N) rolled her (E/C) eyes at the fangirls. Plain idiots...Because I act like Sasuke, people often think I'm related to him or interested in him. Of course, that's not true. It's just the way I am, I act like this in front of people who aren't close to me, but the real me is more like Naruto.

Iruka called each of them. Duckbutt didn't even use his hands.

As expected from my rival... (Y/N) glared at Duckbutt's butt head, glaring holes into his skull.

"Naruto Uzumaki!"

Naruto did his sexy jutsu. (Y/N) giggled quietly, looking away. Oh Naruto... She held her laughter. Iruka was furious...and had a nosebleed. He scolded Naruto for not being serious about the test.

"(Y/N) Ryudo!"

She sighed and stood up, hands in her shorts' pockets. She walked to the front of the class. The boys stared at her with hearts in their eyes, except for Naruto and Sasuke, who merely blushed.

She groaned and just stood there, before transforming into Iruka. She got the scar,facial expressions, headband, and outfit perfectly.

"Perfect (Y/N)!" Iruka smiled.

She cheered in her mind. Yesh!! But kept a poker face on the outside.

"You did it!" Naruto cheered from his seat. She smiled a little bit, saluting with her two fingers wave.

"I'll have to punish you for this Naruto." Iruka said. Naruto pouted and (Y/N) chuckled at his demise. "Don't worry Naru, I'll help!"

*A few hours later*

"Man-" (Y/N) grumbled. "This sucks." Naruto finished.

They were hanging from ropes, cleaning the graffitti Naruto had made on the Hokage's stone faces.

"C'mon you two! The faster you get it done the faster you go home!" Iruka cheered from below.

Why does this always happen to us? I wasn't even the one who made the graffitti this time....although I did do it last time...😅. (Y/N) sulked mentally, rubbing the paint off. But it doesn't matter how late I get home...There's no one there...Not anymore...

"Hmph! Not like anyone's waiting for us!" Naruto spoke both their minds. She nodded with a grumble. It's true..we're both alone.

"Ne Naruto...what'll we do after we become Hokages?" She asked tilting her head, scrubbing the paint off. Naruto looked at her and rubbed his chin.

"That's simple! We'll be heroes and go on adventures to save the village!"

She smiled, her eyes shining. If we did that...everyone would finally acknowledge us! "Yeah!"

"Hey you know, when you guys are done, I'll take you out for ramen tonight!" Iruka said from below, feeling sympathy for them. Poor kids.

(Y/N)'s (E/C) eyes sparkled inmeaditely at the mention of food. "YOSH!! We'll get this cleaned up in no time, right Naru?"
She sped up her scrubbing, hurrying for the sake of her stomach. Drooling, she hurriedly scrubbed the paint off.

Iruka and Naruto were talking, while (Y/N) was enjoying her sixth bowl of ramen.

I always come here with Naruto...and the food is always so great! She smiled happily at the sight of the ramen and ate happily, glomping all of it down quickly.

"So we'll both surpass the Hokages, right (Y/N)-chan?"

(Y/N) heard Naruto's last sentence of their conversation. She turned and smiled with a determined look.

"Of course! Then,people won't hate us anymore!"

"Believe it!" Naruto slurped his ramen, asking for another bowl...an another...and then another 😅. Iruka deadpanned at the hill of bowls from Naruto and (Y/N).
I'm gonna have to pay for all that..

(Y/N) noticed Iruka's sulky look and chuckled. Well,Iruka it's your fault! You invited us to dinner!

As they finally finished eating everything they could, Naruto asked Iruka. "Hey, Iruka-sensei, I have a little request..." Naru giggled nervously. "Can I borrow that forehead protector for a while pleeeeeeaaaase?"

"What? This? No no" Iruka said as he pointed to his ninja headband. "This is a symbol that you have matured, you'll get it when you pass the exam tomorrow."

Naruto slumped in his seat defeated. (Y/N) giggled at his demise and Iruka noticed greatly the change in her behavior.

"(Y/N)...why don't you show your true personality in class? No one knows what you're really like, that's why they think you copy Sasuke." Iruka asked me, raising an eyebrow. She frowned slightly, remembering something from her past. Because I don't want to allow people who can harm me in.

"....I don't want let people who I barely know in." She stated, back to her poker face. "Bad things always happen when I allow people who aren't close to me in." She remarked, remembering those she had lost.

Iruka frowned at the girl. (Y/N) maybe if you let someone in...you would actually see it's the opposite.. "But you let Naruto in!" He protested.

She smiled slightly, shaking off her sad and gloomy mood. She put an arm around Naruto. "But that's because he is my best friend! We've always been together!"

"When you hear your name, proceed to the next room, there you will perform the Clone Jutsu and will be marked on your performance. Got it?" Iruka announced.

I don't know if I can do this...If I get too nervous and mess up I..No! Control yourself! You're a Ninja! You can't be nervous because of this!
(Y/N) was keeping her calm demeanor on the outside, while mentally freaking out.

"First up, (Y/N) Ryudo!"

She flinched but took a breath. Calm down...I can do this...I'm from the Ryudo clan! She clenched her fists, feeling her leather gloves.

"See ya Naru." She two-finger waved to Naruto before stepping in the room.

The girls slightly narrowed their eyes at her leaving form. Sasuke glared at her from behind, causing her to look over her shoulder and glare back. Ryudo better pass! I have to fight her!

She entered the classroom, seeing the teachers sitting on a table with ninja headbands on it.

"Are you ready, (Y/N)?" Iruka asked.

Of course! She nods. She didn't even need to weave hand signs as four clones of her appeared behind her.

Iruka and the others smiled at her. Iruka was proud of the student he had. The girl that had lost everything the same night as the Uchiha.
"Nice, (Y/N)! You pass!" He handed her a black headband.

Yosh! I'm a ninja now! She grinned and waved. "Thanks, Sensei!" She walked out as she tied her headband on her shoulder, not feeling like tying it on her neck, since she had the feeling someone could and would use it to choke her.
Sasuke Uchiha noticed immediately that she passed and glared at her, and she glared back. People could have sworn they saw lightning between the two rivals.
It was weird to think that they had been the best of friends, back when they both had a family.

(Y/N) turned to Naruto and smiled a bit. "I'll wait for you outside Naru."

Then she walked out.

She sat on the swing, waiting for Narubaka. The bell rang, and students ran out of the academy to meet their parents. (Y/N) frowned as she saw the parents come pick up their sons and daughters, remembering that Naruto and her were alone.

Then Naruto came out of the building, but...he looked broken. His usual bright eyes were dark. Huh...? Did he...? Not pass...?
She stood up and jogged to him. "Ne, Naru, how did it go?"

"..." He didn't answer. "I...failed, believe it."

HUH?!

"Eh?! Why?!" (Y/N) exclaimed surprised, flailing her arms around. I don't believe it! Naru didn't pass?!

People around the pair started whispering and muttering mean things.

"I heard he's the only one who didn't pass."

"Serves him right, it'd be horrible if he became a ninja."

"What a shame the girl did pass."

(Y/N) glared at the girls who were speaking, harshly, making them shut up instantly. She sure had a talent for shutting up people's mouths.

"It's her!" One of them whispered.

"Shhh! We're not supposed to talk about that."

(Y/N) scoffed, turning back to a sulking Naruto. Gotta cheer Naru up! She smiled softly and put a hand on his shoulder.

"Naru, don't be sad! I'm sure there's another way for you to pass! There has to!" She piped up, trying to cheer him up.

Naru's ocean blue eyes stared at her, hopeful. "You really think so?!"

She grinned and flicked his forehead. "Of course dummy!"

Naruto smiled widely as his face lit up in happiness. He tackled her and hugged her. "You are the best, (Y/N)-chan, believe it!"

She giggles and turns away, sprinting towards home. "Gotta go! See ya tomorrow!"
Well, what was left of what was once her home.

Little did she know it'd be sooner.

Ugh...What is happening?

(Y/N) yawned, waking up from her nap, as she heard shouting coming from the village. The hell..? She stood up and ran outside her house, running outside the Ryudo compound, only to find a bunch of Jounin running after figure who carried a scroll.
Who's that?!

The moonlight shined down on the mysterious figure.

Wait.... She squinted her eyes, focusing on the figure, and she spotted blonde hair. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. That's Naruto?!?!

She freaked out and started running after the mysterious figure that looked like Naruto, jumping on top of a building and taking out some kunais. What is going on here?! What did Naru do?! Why are the Jounins chasing him?!

She had lost track of Naruto, and was lost in the forest. Great. Just greeaat. I wonder what Naruto did...

Just when she was in the process of figuring things out, she heard voices coming from the forest. Huh? She took off, running towards the voices, and panicked as she heard kunais and shruikens being thrown.

She jumped up, landing on a tree branch, and her eyes searched frantically for her friend. And then spotted a giant shruiken being thrown by one of the teachers at the Ninja Academy, Mizuki. And the worst thing was that it was heading towards Naruto!

Noo! She inmediately jumped off the branch, and blocked the shruiken's path with her own body. Ugh! She coughed blood, and her eyes widened a bit. It felt as if her back was being ripped apart.

"(Y/N)-chan!!!" Naruto yelled. He stared in horror and awe. "Why did you do that?! Baka!" He yelled. He had a scroll on his back.

Iruka was panicking, realizing one of his students had gotten hurt.
(Y/N)! How didn't I notice her presence?!

Mizuki merely laughed, as she pulled the shruiken off my back. It hurts! But not for long! I'm a ninja! This is nothing!

Mizuki laughed. "Just in time,
(Y/N)-chan! I was just about to tell Naruto the truth! The reason why everyone in the village hates you two!"

Huh? Her eyes widened, as I finished pulling the shruiken off my back, and coughed a bit of blood. Her black shirt was torn. What is he talking about? What are they hiding from us?

Iruka's eyes widened and he panicked. "NOO!!! MIZUKI IT'S FORBIDDEN!" He screamed.

What is forbidden?! Her mind was racing with thoughts and theories.

"What?! What is he talking about?!" Naruto yelled in angry confusion.

(Y/N) narrowed her eyes and glanced at Iruka sensei, as blood kept pouring from her back. "What the hell is he talking about Iruka-sensei?!"

Mizuki chuckled. "It was a secret told to the whole village, but never meant to be told to you two."

What?

Iruka panicked and turned paler. "STOP!!" He yelled desperately.

"There was a rule, that no one could tell you that you, Naruto, have the Nine Tailed Fox sealed inside you and (Y/N) has the Thirteen Tailed Dragon inside her!" Mizuki yelled with a smirk.

What? What..? What did he say..?! The Thirteen Tailed Dragon?! But...that can't be...It's my clan's legend! There's no way...It's an old clan legend! Just a legend! (Y/N) screamed in my mind, and stood frozen. And freaked out even more, when she felt that the blood from her wound was no longer pouring. Her eyes widened and she touched her back. WHAT?! Only to feel smooth skin, and no wound. This regeneration power....it can't be...is it the Dragon's?!

"Yes, Naruto! The monster that killed your parents is inside of you! And (Y/N) has the monster that has terrorized her clan for generations inside her! Even worse, she was born with it!!" Mizuki shouted.

She gasped and covered her mouth in fear. No way...No way...There's no shitting way! The clan....No...The elder used to tell me stories about the Dragon...about how many times it had almost wiped out our clan...NOO!! It can't be inside of me!!! The Thirteen Dragon was our clan's guardian, centuries ago, but he was cursed and turned into a Tailed Demon!

"NO ONE WILL EVER LOVE EITHER OF YOU!!"

THAT IS NOT TRUE!!!
(Y/N) stood up, sweating. She then took off running, Naruto soon following.

No!!! Why?! Is...that why Rurō killed everyone..? Because she wanted to leave me alone because she hated me?! Or was it because she wanted to make me suffer and then try to be a hero and defeat the Dragon?!

Naruto and (Y/N) hid on a tree, looking at each other, with shock. I can't believe it...He is the Nine Tails' Jinchuuriki?! And I'm the Dragon's?!

"(Y-Y/N)-chan...I...I-!" Naruto tried to speak.

But she heard voices and shushed Naruto.

Iruka and Mizuki were having a glare off below them.

Mizuki spoke. "Why do you do this, Iruka?! What's the point in protecting the one who killed your family?! The Nine Tails and the Dragon will take advantage of you!"

Would he..?

"Yeah that is true." Iruka agreed.

Naruto and (Y/N) froze, their faces fell, and their hearts shattered.

He never believed in us?!

"That would be true, IF he was the Nine Tails. But he is not the Demon Fox Spirit and she is not the Cursed Dragon!! They are both ninjas of the Village Hidden in the Leaves, Naruto Uzumaki and
(Y/N) Ryudo!!" Iruka added quickly.

Naruto's eyes widened, as did hers. She smiled widely in relief...and happiness. Iruka-sensei...Thank you.. She felt a tear roll down her cheek.

Mizuki growls and pulls out kunais and shruikens, throwing them at Iruka.

I'M NOT LETTING HIM HARM IRUKA-SENSEI!! (Y/N) thought, growling.

Naruto and her exchanged glances, not exchanging words. They jumped down the tree inmediately, and kicked Mizuki in the face and gut. The kunais and shruiken missed, surprising Iruka.

"If you ever lay a hand on Iruka-sensei again, we'll kill you!!" Naruto and (Y/N) shouted in sync, knowing what the other was going to say.

Mizuki growled. "Shut up! I can take brats like you down with one blow!"

(Y/N) snorts and Naruto and her speak in sync, once again. "Why don't you try then?! We'll strike back at you a thousand-fold!"

Naruto starts making hands signs and shouts. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

(Y/N) glanced at him with wide eyes. That Jutsu is Jounin level! When did he-?! Oooh...Now I get it..The scroll he has on his back must be the Sacred Scroll! Mizuki must have somehow tricked him into stealing it and in the meantime Naruto learned that Jutsu! I then smirk, doing hand signs. Then again, I can do it too!

Naruto and (Y/N) make more than 1000 clones, and all of them attack Mizuki at the same time, beating him into a bloody pulp.

Mizuki soon passed out.

Iruka stared with wide eyes. That's a Jounin level Jutsu! A really advanced technique! But then his gaze softened, and he smiled, as he saw his students fight. Those two are really something...They want to surpass the Hokages...And I'm really starting to think they can do it!
He smiles and takes off his headband, deciding to give Naruto what he deserved.

"Naruto, come over here!" Iruka called. (Y/N) turned to
Iruka-sensei with a smile, and Naruto and her headed over to him. "Close your eyes!" He ordered to Naruto. Naruto obeyed, closing his eyes.

(Y/N) saw Iruka with his headband on his hands, and smiled widely when she figured it out. Iruka shushed her, not wanting her to spoil the surprise, as he discreetly tied the headband around Naruto's forehead.

"C'mon, Iruka-sensei! How much longer?" Naruto whines, getting impatient.

(Y/N) giggles. Oh Naru...You did become a Ninja after all.

"You can open your eyes now." Iruka-sensei said.

"Congratulations on your graduation." Iruka and (Y/N) exclaimed.

Naruto smiled widely, and glomped Iruka. (Y/N) smiled widely and joined the hug.

I'm so glad that Naruto is my friend. I...just sometimes wish I was more than that... (Y/N) shook of the thought, rejecting it. No...he likes Sakura, not me.

Iruka then offered to take them to Ichiraku, and they headed off, laughing with happy smiles on their faces.

(Y/N) couldn't help but feel things would get exciting from now on.
