Chapter 3:

Miku's POV:

Saturday, the busiest, most annoying time to go to an amusement park. There were thousands of people crowding around our small secretive group. All of them were pushing and shoving and swearing to try and get into the lines first.

I LOVED IT!
I was so excited! It's been forever since I've gotten to do something normal, and here there were so many people it would be impossible for anything spyish to take place.

Len was wearing his usual sour look (and his unusual strawberry blonde-ish disguise), although it wasn't as sour as it used to be. If he sucked all the fun out of this, I would kill him.
Rinto and Rin, looking more like twins with their black hair, were joking around and pointing to all the rides we would go on.

"Let's go to the ferris wheel first!" Rin decided. "We can start with that and then go on crazier and crazier rides."

"After that let's go to the waterpark section and go on all those waterslides!" Rinto exclaimed, hooking arms with Rin and I.

I grabbed Len and dragged him along with us. "Don't be such a downer! Let's just have a fun day."

He growled something under his breath and kept looking around like a paranoid freak.

After a ten minute wait we got onto the ferris wheel. It was kind of boring, but the view was nice. We could see pretty much everything from up there. I swear, the most interesting people come to places like this.
There was one dude wearing a tie-dye t-shirt, and he had this really goofy hairstyle. He wasn't even going on rides, he was just taking pictures.

I was a brunette today, wearing a whole lot of purple and gray. A perfectly unnoticeable outfit to fade into the background with. It's like camera tie-dye hippie man wanted everyone to notice him.

And noticed he was. People were walking around him giving him the weirdest looks.
I couldn't even imagine being that much of an attention stealer.

The ferris wheel ride came to an end, much to Len's relief, and we all clambered off and to the water park.

"LOOK AT THOSE WATER SLIDES!" Rin clapped her hands and bounced around like a little kid.

"That one! That's the one we're going on!" Rinto pointed to the tallest, fastest looking one.

Len groaned.

"What, are you afraid of heights?" I elbowed him in the ribs with a grin.

He swatted at me. "We were on a plane, and you're the one that was having a panic attack."

"Shut up banana boy, the likelihood that I'll have to get on a plane again is low."

Len and I continued bickering as we made our way to the water slide. Rin and Rinto joined in and instigated, always on my side of course.

The whole time we climbed up the stairs Len ignored me. He just stared over the railing like he was contemplating how quick a death jumping would be.

Not as quick as my wit, that was for sure.

We made it to the top after fifteen whole minutes. The lifeguard helped us into the huge group raft and gave us a shove after telling us all the do's and don'ts. The waterslide was possibly the fastest one I'd ever been on. That's not hard to beat considering the last time I'd been on one I was ten.

I've missed out on so much thanks to my bizarre upbringing. I'm surprised I didn't turn out worse.

Speaking of worse...

"LOOK MIKU! A HAUNTED HOUSE!" Rin cried, pointing to a kids haunted house.

"Uh..."

"Can we go? Can we, can we?"

I glanced at the guys. Both of them looked a little pained. A haunted house for ten year olds didn't really sound like it would be scary, but hey...maybe we could make fun of all the lame scares.

"Sure Rin..."

And that's how I got into my current situation.

Where was I? Alone in a room with a bunch of old people. Where were my friends? I have no idea.

What happened?
Well, the power went out for one, so It's kind of dark.

And you'll never guess who just walked into the room.

Tie-dye camera hippie dude.
