I groan as the annoying sound of my alarm rung threw my ears. I roll over in hopes to drowned out the sound but failed miserably. I huff in annoyance as I pull off the blankets and turn the alarm off. I stretch before pulling myself out of bed and walking to he kitchen.

I pour Rand his food before making my own and sitting down at the small table. I looked threw my planner to see I had to go to the post office, Sign off for the normal food delivery, and drop May(1) off at the vet.

May is pregnant and the puppies will be due soon. I don't specialize in delivering puppies so I talked to the vet and they agreed to take care of her. I worry for her sometimes, despite the fact she looks like a whale she still wondered the building and won't hold still.

I finish my food and put away the dishes before I looked threw my racks to find today's outfit. I looked for something that would be nice but won't bother me as I run around town all day. When I finally did find my outfit(2) I pulled on a pair of shoes before making my way down the stairs to find May.

When I found her I had Rand lead her to the lobby so I could go get the Van. I usually walk places but, sense May is Pregnant I plan to drive. I don't have a license much like the rest of the Gotham population but, with all the crazies running around Gotham the last thing on the police's mind is finding and pulling over un-licensed drivers.

I pull up on the side walk and open the back door. I quickly move to open the door to the lobby so May and Rand could come out. I helped May into the back before closing the doors and running over to the passenger side to let Rand get in as well.

Once both dogs were in I get into the driver's side and start the car. I pull out onto the street and slowly made my way threw Gotham traffic to the post office. I parked and looked over at Rand "Watch her," I command. Rand only made a noise telling me understood before lying in the seat.

I scoff before turning off the car and running inside. I quickly found and unlocked my mailbox before I quickly looked threw the mail. I groan when I see the packet for the mob peace treaty. I stuff the mail under my arm as I locked the mailbox and walked out the door.

When I climbed into the van I looked back to check on May only to see her Sitting there peacefully. I look at Rand and he watches as I stuff the mail into the glovebox. I turn on the car before pulling back onto the road to Wayne Enterprises.

Sense I use there tech and the load of food I have to get is so big they carry out the delivery. I park the van in a lot closest to the building but as I get ready to get out May starts to bark up a storm. I groan knowing she wanted to get out "No May," I snap.

She continued to bark and it began to draw un-wanted attention. One guy in particular glared at us as he walked by but I began to curse his existence when I saw him point us out to a near by police officer. I curse as I am left with no choice "Okay! okay May," I growl. I huff as I climb out the van and held the door open for Rand to get out as well.

I quickly move to the back and open the doors to see May already at them. I reach into the van pulling out a leash and caller. Once I got them both on her I helped her out. I closed to the doors to the van only to see the police officer standing there.

Rand growled at the officer making him take a few steps back. I whistle for Rand to back off and slowly he moves to stand by May. "Can I help you officer? I'm sorry if I caused a disruption my dog is pregnant and she tends to get moody," I state coolly in hopes he'll let me off the hook. The officer glanced at Rand as he growled lowly as if telling him it's best if he walked away. Which, in fact is probably the best option for him.

The officer nodded and tipped his hat before hurriedly walking away. I let out a sigh and let Rand lead May into the building. As we do so The man who ratted us out glared at us. Both May and Rand barked loudly at him and I smirked as he hurriedly stumbled away. I laughed when I saw his face was a mix of being upset and being scared to the point he might have pissed himself.

I held the door open for Rand and May but I followed soon after. I made my way to the front desk where a lady sat. "Hello Can I help You?" she said in voice that sounded much like a recording that's been played too many times. "I'm here to sign off on a order," I state simply. the lady nodded and began to click away at her computer "And your name would be..." She trailed. "Anubis," I gritted out in distaste. I hate that name so much but it's far better use than my actual name.

I watched in slight shock as her eyes widen and she jumped to her feet. "Oh I'm so sorry," She smiled apologetically as she rushed around her desk. She moved closer to me but Rand growled at her causing her to jump back a few feet. I snap my fingers and he became quite. I smirk as he listened, it was a new command we have been working on and this is the first time I've got to use it in the field.

The woman nervously smoothed down her black dress as she cleared her throat. "I'm sorry we would have notified you but there wasn't a phone number registered in our file," She apologized. I nodded "Your signing has been moved to be handled by Mr.Wayne," She said. I let out a agitated sigh and she flinched. "I'm really sorry we-" She stated but I held my hand up to stop her.

"It's not your fault," I spoke softly. She looked at me shocked as if she didn't expect me to use such a tone. Now that I get a good look at her she looked rather ill. Her hair was so messy and tangled that to a normal person it could have passed as her natural hair.

Her face was layered in make up to hide the fact that her actual skin is paler than what I could assume her normal skin tone. It also didn't cover her dark black bags under her eyes vary well. Her dress was a faded black like it was old and wash improperly, Not only that it was covered in wrinkles.

She nervously smoothed down her dress and I smirked finding the habit cute but sad. I gave her a soft smile and she quickly led me to a elevator. She let the two dogs in before she clicked the floor button, she then moved off to the side to get away from the dogs.

"Don't worry they don't bite, well not unless I tell them to," I laugh. She looked down at Rand before she looked over at May. "She's pregnant. I had planned to take her to the vet after the signing but it seems its going to take longer than expected," I told her quietly.

"What's their names?" she asked slightly moving away from the wall to get a better look at them. "Well," I smirked as she became more accustom to them. "This is Rand," I said pointed to said dog. The woman let a shaky hand down to his head but jumped as he stood straight to force his head into her hand.

Her eyes widen a bit as she ran her hand over his head. "And that is May," I laughed as the woman reached her other hand down to pet May. She seemed to enjoy her self and the dogs until the door dinged. I smirked she stood up and nervously smoothed her hands over her dress.

She lead us all the way to the end of the hall when another woman sat at a desk. I looked at the large wooden door to see 'Bruce Wayne' written in gold lettering. The woman who was with us looked at her and she nodded. She then turned to us with a small smile "Well he's ready for you," she said as she began to walk away.

I quickly grab onto her freighting frail arm "What's your name?" I ask quickly. Her cheeks dusted in a pink color "Mary," she smiled. I nodded and let go of her and watched as she walked down the hall. I then turned and looked at the door. I sigh "I would have dressed better if I knew I was gong to have to have an audience with Bruce Wayne," I mutter down at Rand.

He only looked at me before using his body to shove me to the door. I shot him a glare before opening the door.
