Synopsis

In a alternative timeline of the "New Normal Life of an Assassin"....

Kira the ultimate killer successful commits genocide upon his killer people.

Forever ruining the assassin culture, Kira takes a taste of a normal life and enters college.

But remnant of the Assassin life is out to take its revenge....

From birth, he was trained relentlessly to be the best of the best, the peak of what a human can do.

By the time he was 10, Kira had made a name for himself, as the one you summon to kill the untouchable.

But though he achieved, in the eyes of many, the title of the greatest killer, Kira knew that wasn't enough. To survive his training he was conditioned to desire one thing... To be the ABSOLUTE best.

There was only one way to guarantee that spot.

Destroy the competition.

For years Kira planned on ending the lives of the people hidden in the shadows, training the next generation of killers.

But hus father kept the one thing that would make him obsolete. Kira was patient to get it until his father betrayed him.

Attempting to kill him on a mission.

After that, Kira killed his father after forcing what he wanted out of him.

Then began Kira's rampage.

He began with the leaders... Though annoying to him, Kira ended their lives and worked his way down the food chain.

Not before sending a message to every village practicing the art of killing.

"Integrate into modern-day society, leave the ways of old behind or you will be killed."

That was his message.

Some listened... Some were caught in the middle... The rest were killed by hus hands after he revealed their secrets to the world.

Including most of their chi techniques.

In the end, he stood accomplishing what he desired.

A young man drenched in blood walked away from a burning building, the last on his list.

The shattered blade in his hand glowed with a menacing aura of sadistic joy.

With a heavy breath, he climbed over a hill to see the destruction left in his wake.

The killer known as Kira did something not many believed was possible.

Kira: Heh... Hehehehehe... HAHAHAHAHAH! WHAHAHAHA!

???: How dare you laugh, you monster!?

A father who had begrudgingly agreed to run revealed himself and his family out of anger.

???: Fight me! Fist to fist! Let's see how strong you are without that blade!

Kira: HAHAHAHAHAH!

Kira: Why would I do that?

Kira: I have nothing to prove to you. Is it that you wish your children would fear me even more?

???: Th-

Kira: Actually... That's quite wise. Best to destroy even the slightest hope in them...

He drops the blade which stays suspended in mid-air as he approaches the father of the family.

Man:(raises fist with slight nervousness)

His wife rushed up in front of the man on her hands and knees bowing.

Woman: P-please! I beg you! Please don't kill him! I'll do anything you want!

Woman: Have your way with me, but please spare him!

Kira: There are thousands of women in the world... Why would I want you?

He walks past her. The man throws a punch.

Caught the punch, and broke his arm. Grabbing him by the adam's apple Kira dissociated it.

Raising his fist Kira prepared to finish the man off.

But he couldn't...

Kira: Pfft-MWAHAHAHAHA!!

He couldn't stop laughing.

Dropping the man, Kira stumbles back.

Kira: Ahhhh...(chuckles)... Congratulations...

Kira: You are the first opponent I've ever spared.

Kira: Now run. Do not waste this life I've allowed you to continue.

Kira: Do not try to chase an unobtainable goal like revenge.

Kira: That goes for all of you! And to those like you!

Kira: Spread the word to those who share this man's desire.

Kira: Find peace! Abandon vengeance! If you must, tell them I perished from my injuries.

His blade flew into his hand, as he walked away.

Kira: You all are the last people to ever see Kira.

With those words, he vanished.

(6 months later)

Mao college was bumbling with new students. Though these young adults were ready to begin their adult life they still acted like high schoolers at the sight of a potential new king of the school.

The ladies were instantly smitten and the men were curious.

???:(mind) It seems I must look more inconspicuous... More unappealing...

He puts on glasses with a "hmph" that was cuter than he was trying to be.

Ladies:(mind) He's adorable!

Yn:(mind) They're staring even more... Damn you television, you've betrayed me.

On the first day of college, there were many things students could do.

The most important was to get a feel for the professors and see what exam information they could divulge.

Yn had nothing better to do, so he made his way straight to class along with many other new students.

Girl: Hey.

Yn: Hm?

Lady: You wanna grab a drink after the lectures.

Yn:(mind) Already? I wasn't planning on courting a lady so soon.

Yn:(mind) Looking her over...

Lady:(smiles)

Yn:(mind) She's not appealing whatsoever... Wait, are women appealing to me?

Yn:(looks at men)

Lady:(giggles) I am talking to you silly.

Yn:(mind) I know that you daft wench, I'm currently trying to figure out if I'm a homosexual!

Yn:(mind) Tch, I can't tell at all... These people must truly be hideous. This is what I get for going to an average college.

Yn: S-sorry... Not tonight. I'd really like to get settled.

Lady: Okie-Dokie. Raincheck sweetheart.

She leaves.

Yn:(mind) Sweetheart? My heart is bitter and salty...

The first lecture then began.

At first, he quickly noted everything the professor said, but upon the realization that the subjects he was teaching were exactly the same as the books he memorized so he did not have to pay for them, he gave up.

Choosing to look around at his fellow students, Yn began dissecting every little thing they did, deducing who they were as if he was Sherlock Holmes.

Yn:(mind) None of them seem like threats... And why would they... I am the ultimate threat...

Yn:(mind) I stand alone atop the food chain...

Yn: Tch..!

Yn:(mind) Enough of that...

Teacher: Mister Zeiro, right?

Yn: Can I help you?

Teacher: I don't know, can you?

Yn: Depends on what you need. If the subject is too complex I could simplify it for you.

Class:(chuckles)

Teacher: So you think you can teach better than me?

Yn:(mind) I thought offering help was supposed to be a good thing- wait, he's supposed to be a higher up...

Yn:(mind) Ugh, Another bastard demanding the respect they don't deserve?

Yn: Anyone can teach as long as they have an understanding of the subject.

Teacher: And you have an understanding of physiology?

Yn:(checks watch)

Teacher: What are you-

Yn: I read the text book. I'm quite sure I can summarize the first few chapters and save us all some time.

Teacher:!

The teacher was about to talk, but the innocent vibe Yn gave out, made it difficult to bark back.

With that, the teacher scoffed as the rest of the class saw him as this innocent bean. After all the lectures, Yn made his way to his dorm to unpack.

Yn:(mind) House of Omega... I guess each dorm house is named after a Greek letter.

Entering his dorm room, where his luggage already sat in, Yn looked around as much as he could with the limited space.

Yn:(mind) A room to myself. I should probably check for bug-

Yn: What do I care?

Yn:(mind) If someone wants to spy on me doing my homework, working out, or laying maidens, then let them be my guess.

Yn:(mind)... But I should check for actual rodents.

(Knock, knock)

Yn: Now what?

Opening his door he was greeted by one of his dorm mates. A nerdy-looking guy.

Shun:(evil chuckle) Hello there, new blood.

Yn: Hello.

Shun: I am the Dorm lord of this building. The alfa in this pack of Omegas!

Yn: Good for you.

Shun: As the lord of the dorm, I must warn you of the rules of the house.

Shun: Break them, and you'll suffer a faith worse than death!!

Yn:(mind) Torture?

Shun: Rule 1! (Silly pose)

Shun: No... Smoking.

Yn:(writes it down)

Shun:(new pose) Rule 2!

Shun: No... Alcohol.

Yn:...(slowly writest it down)

Shun:(new, new pose) Rule 3-

Yn: Can you go a little faster?

Shun: R-right... Sorry. No loud noises past noon.

Yn: Define "loud noises".

Shun: Like Tv and stuff. You can still watch it, but try and keep the volume on 5 or use headphones.

Shun: The only exception to the rule is a creaking bed. (smirks) If ya know what I mean?

Yn: Sex?

Shun:(embarrased) Y-yes...

Yn:(sigh)...

Yn: Any other rules?

Shun: Be cool.

Yn:... Kay.

Now with spare time, Yn hopped on a tree and began reading manga.

He felt the eyes of many but ignored them to continue reading his manga book.

Yn:(mind) Perhaps I missed something here...

Yn:!

Instinctively he caught a football thrown at him.

Jock: Whoa, sorry bro.

Yn: We're not "bros".

He tosses the football back.

Jock: Dude, chill out.

Yn:(mind)... I overreacted. I should probably apologize-

Yn:(mind) Hold on. I am not on a mission... I'm free to act however I please.

Yn:(small smirk) Heh.

Jock: What's so funny?

Yn: The main character fell face first in a woman's cleavage. Classic! Hahahaha!

Yn: Never change, the protagonist... Never change.

The jock leaves, but one of his new younger buddies stays glaring at Yn for a little too long.

Yn:(glares)

Heero: Grrr...

???: Heero!

A girl ran up to him.

Hana:(awkward chuckles) L-lets go, brother! Ha-ha...!

She drags him away.

Yn:(mind) Brother...? Hmm... I wonder if they do incest like in this manga.

Yn:... Maybe...

Yn:(chuckles wickedly)

Yn:(mind) Look at me. Not using logic. No wonder there are so many idiots.

Yn: This is amazing.

He accidentally advertised his manga to everyone nearby.

(Hours later)

Yn:(yawn)

Yn: I fell asleep on a tree in an open area... So nice...

Waking up, Yn went for a walk to a convenience store for a little snack for dinner.

Watching him was a masked girl in the shadows.

She held a blade tightly as she stalked him. Waiting eagerly for a chance to attack.

This would be her only opportunity for vengeance. For she made a promise to start a new life tomorrow.

This young lady was only here because of a "technicality" of her promise.

(Ding-ala-ding)

Yn walked out of a little shop in a wall and made his way back to the dorms.

This was her moment, the streets were poorly lit and empty beside him.

She was hidden behind a corner, her distraction was set up to make a loud noise away from her so she could strike.

(BANG)

Yn:...

She swung her arm out from the corner to stab him with blinding speed, but he was nowhere to be found.

Assassin: Hm-

(CRUNCH)

Her knee was stomped from the side snapping it, knocking her off balance.

Before she could scream, her neck was chopped whilst her back was struck, knocking the wind out of her.

She was dragged behind a dumpster.

The assassin couldn't tell what was going on at first due to the several shocks of pain across her body, but once those faded she realized what was going on.

She was being beaten to death.

Her mask had shattered on the first attack, and the ones that followed broke her face and threatened to kill her.

Fear coursed through her body, she struggled yet was helpless to the man beating on her.

He then stopped.

Finally, the assassin could catch her breath, to taste the blood, and loose teeth in her mouth.

Yn released her and watched how she tried to crawl away.

The assassin then felt him grab her once more. Fearful of his next assault, she braced herself only to find him tossing her into a dumpster.

Yn:(muffled) Give up your vengeance. Next time I will do permanent damage.

(BAM)

Denting the dumpster to scare her further, she hears him walk away as he hears her begin to weep.

Assassin:(mind) Da-da....DAMN IT!!!

Yn:(mind) I don't care who it is. The cost of ruining my new life...

Yn:(mind) Is pain, suffering... Then death.
