My face goes pale, I can feel my heart begin to race in panic. Fuckfuckfuck, the owner of the server saw that! As if by instinct, I snap my laptop shut, quickly pushing it under a pair of underwear that happened to be on my bed. Fucking fuck! I need to leave, cool my head somewhere! This could very well be the end of my career.

Food. Food will help. That's never let me down, right?

My hands shake as I lift off my bed, grabbing onto the bedpost to pull myself up. While my hands are slippery from the sweat, I've gotten used to getting up this way and succeed in doing so. I quickly wipe my hands on my pants, before exiting my bedroom and shutting the door behind me.

My feet squelch under me as I walk through the hallway and towards the kitchen. However, there are no distinguishable smells entering my hairy nostrils this time around, only silence. It's eerily silent.

I scratch under my double chin in anticipation as I enter the kitchen. There I see my mother, standing around doing fuck all with no food in sight.

"Where's my food?" I growl menacingly. I cross my arms as well, that way she knows I'm not fucking around.

I watch her as she shuts her eyes tightly, and inhales deeply. She then exhales, and whispers something to herself. When she opens her eyes again, they hold a look of nervousness. She shifts her head up slowly, matching my gaze. "Honey, I believe it's about time you start pulling your weight around the house."

My brows furrow as I cock my head to the side. "Oh so I'm supposed to cook or clean now? Like a fucking woman?" I sneer, my anger growing.

"Watch your tone Grendel, you're speaking to your mother," she hisses, taking a threatening step closer to me.

"Don't call me that, that's not my name anymore!" I shout, violently pointing in her direction.

"It's the name I gave you!" Somehow, her attitude reminded me of a certain girl that had joined my server. That defiance, I don't like it.

"Man, fuck! Why can't you people just do what I say, huh?! Why do you gotta make everything so fucking difficult for me, huh!?" I yell, throwing up my hands.

"Look at yourself Grendel! Two years ago you used to be a great boy, on the verge of finishing the college courses that I paid for! And all of a sudden you drop out! You start shoving food down your throat, locking yourself in your room without any sunlight and completely disregarding your hygiene!" She yells back at me, her tone escalating as she seemingly stabs her chest with her fingers. "You think I need that!? With how much I have to work to keep you happy all the time, huh?! All I'm asking for is a little fucking dignity and responsibility from you, and you can't even give it to me!"

She stares at me, wiping a single tear from the corner of her eye. I've had enough of this charade, who on earth does she think she is?

"You know what? I'm not even hungry anymore."

I turn away from her, rushing back to the hallway. "So fucking bossy, this is why dad left you." I sneer, not bothering to turn around and see her reaction. I reach the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind me, locking it and pressing my palms against the counter as I lean on it. My knees weaken, my breathing starts to become heavier.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! FUCK!!" I scream into the mirror, my words echoing through the empty room.

It's at that moment when I look back into the mirror, and see just who stands there. My eyes flick down to my stomach. Using my hand I cup my belly, watching my hand disappear inside my own stomach. I look back up to my face, staring deep into my reflection.

"Ugh..." I whisper, shaking my head. "I'm an alpha male, I shouldn't be thinking about this too much." I take several deep breaths, trying to steady myself. "Well, guess I should bathe now." I say, looking back at my body in the mirror.

As I pull my pants down, I feel a small, rectangular object picking at my thigh. I reach into my pocket and pull out my phone, reading over my notifications. I have a DM from Miscally, as well as many pings from other members in the server. I wince as I run my hand through my hair, swiping away each notification one by one.

But suddenly, my hand freezes as I read the name "TopAlphalfa," and then a string of texts below it. I hadn't seen that name in two entire years. The name of an admin that helped run the server I learned everything from. Maybe this is the way forward? Maybe a little coaching on how women work is what I need...
