"C'mon! Let's go sneak around one of the girls hallways!" I told Theodore in our room that night at 6:15.

"No, William. You know that's against the rules unless you have special permission from a teacher!" Theodore said, putting his foot down.

"CALL ME WILL!" I screamed in his ear.

"I will call you William because it's a school rule that I have to call you by your full name," Theodore said to me in a calm voice.

"Who cares about the stupid school rules," I muttered.

"I do!" Theodore retorted angrily.

We went on arguing like this for five or so minutes, until I finally said, "Please Theodore? I'll do all my homework this week!"

"A whole week?" He replied, raising his eyebrow.

"Yup!"

He sighed. "Well I guess I'm beat. C'mon. Let's go."

Ten minutes later, we were creeping along the hallway of the nearest girls hallway. At 6:40pm, the hallways were pretty quiet. I was worried that I had promised doing all my homework for nothing.

But as we were creeping past a door, we heard whisperings emitting from the other side of the door. I signaled to Theodore to stop here, and we both pressed our ears up against the ancient oak wood door.

I recognized the voices as those of Elizabeth, Isabelle, and most surprisingly, Monique. I pressed my ear closer to the door to hear what they were saying.

They seemed very keen to not being overheard, so when I finally heard them, I had to put my hand to my mouth to keep myself from gasping and giving us away.
