Next morning.....

West-town road, 10:30am-

"How do you know Sally?" Susan asks the lady opposite her.

"I know her way back in high school when one of the rich kid's families in our school threw a house-warming party. Uhm... I noticed her at another party after the house-warming party" she said.

"Oh... wait? Why throw another party after the actual one" Rachel asked. Rather confused.

"You know, it is a house-warming party. No alcohol allowed, not much dancing... so it is like a.... formal party.... And ah kinda boring for us too, so that kid decided to throw a second party with just.... Us. No adults involved. " she explained.

"Oh..." the both ladies nodded.

After finding out about the two victims' social circle, life-style etc. The group split into three pairs and began their investigation.

Susan and Rachel interrogate Sally's side.

Sue and John interrogate on Mandy's side.

Lastly, Ri-Huan and Eric stay at the station and do a thorough check on both victim's databases. To see if there are any more clues about the two.

The two continue to question the lady in front of them, who is in Sally's friendship circle, to know more about their target victim....

"How is she like among you all?" Sue asked.

"I got to say. When we first met at the party she was quite friendly, nice and you know kinda... cool too" she said.

"Oh but I must say this. Uhm.... she can be kinda flirty too" She stated.

The two just a slight nod in response.

"When was the last time you saw her?" Sue asks her again.

"Uhm.... A few weeks ago. We just met up last month on the 28th.Then we caught up on each other's lives and so on.... Afterwards she told me she is going on a business trip... and ah! Another thing." The lady paused for a while to sip on her drink and continue talking.

"She told me not to tell anybody. Especially her boyfriend" She finished.

"Her boyfriend?" Sue question.

"She has a boyfriend?" Rachel asks.

"Yap.... They have been dating for a few months already." The lady replied.

" Do you know much about their relationship?" Rachel asks further.

"Not really.... The weird thing is they meet at a club a few times then just hit off straight away. However.... after they started dating, she changed.... More like the way they date is kinda off."

"Oh." Both of them nodded and raised their eyebrows.

The lady took another sip of her drink and began to explain to the both of them about Sally's and her boyfriend's dating timeline... and so on....

"Why would somebody want to kill her? She doesn't have any enemies... Nor will she hurt a single person, not even a small fly...." the young man exclaimed.

"Calm down sir. We feel for you, and are willing to bring justice for your sister as much as you do" John said in a calming voice, confronting the young man opposite them.

"P-p-please please, bring justice for my daughter, pl-please..." the older woman with teary eyes said to Susan, while holding her hands tightly.

Susan patted her shoulder and gave her a reassuring sympathy smile. Nodding her head as in yes....

John looked at his partner across and couldn't help much but give a silent sigh and sympathize for her too.

Appearing in front of somebody's family doorstep at around 10 o'clock or so in the morning to inform them about their beloved child's death, is even worse than going to a haunted house or hell at 3 o'clock in the morning.

The feeling is so terrible and beyond words to describe their feelings for themselves and the victim's family.

They literally feel so terrible and horribly sad for the victim. They feel even worse for the victim's family too....

Not a single person, friend, sibling or family would expect that in one fine morning they will ever receive shocking news about the person they loved who has been horribly murdered by some asshole murderer....

Literally nobody wants to receive such terrible news on such a fine sunny day....

So why does the murderer want to murdered Mandy if she doesn't have any relation to him/her? What is the purpose? What is the reason?

Or to be more specific, why does the murderer want to murder both ladies?

What is their connection with the murderer?

What is the murderer's motive for murdering these two victims? What will he gain from murdering them??

All John can think of is why? Why? Why?

Yet.... They have more unanswered questions than answers questions....
