The continues chapter of Sarah's diary -

Dear Diary,

Joshua had found out about my ex-lover distasteful act, and also found out that he had been stalking me for weeks!

It just so happened, last Saturday when we were out shopping together. Joshua broke the news to me that he keeps seeing my ex-finance near our house, and yes! Just as he finished telling me everything. That man popped up. Coming to our table all smiling and greeting us casually.

After sometime, we decided to call it a day. That's when again we saw him. Joshua eventually felt rather annoyed by it. I then suggest that we go to the police station, since earlier he told me that he has enough proof that he is stalking us. Especially me.

We then went to the police station to report on this troublesome situation.

Dear Diary,

It's getting late now, however, before I call it a day. I would like to clear my mind to sleep and not give our babies too much stress inside their mummy's womb.

Today we decided to meet at one of his restaurant outlets after one of his customers' parties had finished, so that we could go home together and he didn't need to worry about me.

Our meet-up is as usual. However as we talk through our days.... Joshua's expression suddenly turned serious.

I eventually asked him what's wrong, he basically just shook his head.

Although we only dated a few months, but he knew I won't give up asking him again...

So with that he turned to me and reluctantly told me to....

Quit my job. Because he feels that it is dangerous for me as my ex-fiancé is working at the same company as me too. He says it also reduces my stress and wont affect our babies too much.

I, of course, for the first time disagreed with him, and we had a small quarrel.

This is my dream career, the dream job that I am thriving in now. I love my job. I won't quit exactly, but probably take maternity leave when needed.

Whilst probably I hope we can talk it out.

"How is the reading going?" A voice suddenly boom from behind, making Eric startled.

"She seems to keep track of her daily life quite clearly... Now I am reading until the part where.... she.... uh... meet-up with Joshua and indeed Joshua asks her to quit her job. An argument indeed happened between the two of them..." He said, voice trailing off.

"So the chef is definitely not lying, when he gives Ri-Huan his statement." Susan concluded.

"What's next?" Eric asks her.

"I found this." She says holding up a book.

"Let me see." He said, snatching it from her.

Then he looks at the title and stares at her dumbfounded. To make it even ridiculous he stands up and looks at her with his eyes wide and shock written on his face.

"Are you...!!" He began saying, but got interrupted by her.

"What the heck? I found this book at Sally's house. I'm just going to explain everything to you..." she exclaimed back.

"Find. Spill it." He said.

"You remember the statement Joshua gave us just now?" She questioned him.

"Ya"

"About the babies" She said, aiming more specifically at the topic they are going to talk about.

Eric expression begin to dazed and a few minutes late he comeback to his senses.

"You mean about the babies that Sally is carrying? That has two different DNA??" He confirmed it with her.

Receiving a solemn nod from the female sitting opposite him. He slumped the table and told her his conclusion.

"She wants to abort the babies that she is carrying so she went to buy this book and talk to one of her friends about it. Then she told her friend not to tell her boyfriend." He finishes.

"Exactly, the same statement that her friend gave us not long ago" she said. Finishing the whole part.

"Then... What's the point of asking me to read this diary?" He asked her.

"Dork. I ask you to read it to find some hint about her life before her death." She said, throwing him a look.

"Should I read on?" He asked her.

"Where did you stop at?" She asked him again.

"At.... 20th April." He answered flipping through the pages.

"Can you read it out loud so we can both conclude it after you finish reading it.

With a nod Eric continued the diary....

The reading continues - 

Dear diary,

After we talked about my decision, I have decided to resign from my job. As I feel that even after the babies are born. I would need to take care of them for a longtime. Probably a few years too. So it is in our best decision that our babies would be able to have the mother love they wanted and not be neglected.

However... I didn't tell Joshua about this small decision of mine...

I have either decided to fight custody for the child I am holding on behalf of the devil, or abort the baby myself. However I knew it would be unfair for my other child as it won't have a sibling when it is born. However it is also the best for him or her.

I won't want the devil to come for his child after it is born, and destroy the child's life with his psychotic thinking and thoughts.

I might change my mind and see how it goes.

Dear diary,

I have passed up my resignation letter and today is my last day of working at Starlight-tech company as one of their Accounting Managers. I am really grateful to the work I have through my years working there.

I have made a small group of friends, learned alot from my superiors and given great opportunities to work with people from overseas.

I really thank my company for making my job more meaningful then I could imagine, and I would never forget their time of teaching and guiding me through.

After our shift at the accounting department my colleagues suddenly call me up as she says head is mad at my work for the day.

I tried to negotiate with her about it, however in the end I went back and prepared to be scolded.

😆 such a surprise for me. As it turns out, they are throwing me a surprise farewell party and all the departments are there too. We talk about everything that happens through my time with them, and we wish each other all the best. We hugged and cried as the time came for me to go.

Well alas I promise to still keep in touch with them.

Dear diary,

Today I have decided to meet up with a friend of mine that I know way back in my uni days. I have made some plans and decided to meet a few old friends to catch up on our lives before I get ready for my childbirth.

Yes. After meeting one of my friends who used to work at the childbirth section, I have decided to keep the babies.

I told her about my abortion plan. However she disagrees with it and explains to me in further detail.

She told me that aborting the babies will be really painful. Plus both babies are already on their developing stage. She says it is illegal to abort it after five months, and sometimes the abortion process might take a few weeks to be approved.

"Doesn't the first child also have your blood inside? Although the father is not Joshua, the baby still belongs to you" she told me.

"I'm sure Joshua will shower this child with love too" She says with a smile.

I nodded, remembering the times where he mentioned that he can't wait for the babies to be born already.

The rest of our conversation is just catching up on each other's lives and so on.

Dear diary,

Hey there again..

 Just now Joshua called me to inform me that later in the evening we are meeting at a seafood restaurant in the next town. He even says he has prepared a big surprise for me.

Of course I beg him to tell me what it is he just says I will know later.

As usual my stomach is feeling like having butterflies inside already. I couldn't be more happier to meet him tonight. I wonder what surprise he is going to give me.

Now I will stop here as I need to prepare for our date.

Eric then flipped the next page to find it blank.

"It's blank!" He exclaimed.

"No more??" Susan asks.

He nodded.

"Then something must have really happened to her that night" she says.

"Do you think we should wait for the rest to come back?"

"Yes. Rachel and John say they are on their way back. Sue, Tracy, Ri-Huan and Keith are also on their way back too."

The two of them then start talking about the possibilities that could happen in the case, while waiting for the rest to comeback.
