Chapter 21
Finally" Eric exclaimed sarcastically, earning a glare from both ladies and a small punch from Tracy.
Sue then turned to the two of them and began to speak.
"Good thing that everybody here took the forensic courses before, I would need you and Eric to help me with matters over there. Is it ok for you Eric?" She explains to them and asks him at the same time.
"Yes, mdm." Eric said with a salute.
Then with the que both of them set off to handle the matters back at the police station.
Meanwhile ~
May I ask when is the last time she has paid you her last rent? One of their other teammates, Keith, asks the middle-aged woman in front of them.
Basically they are in charge of tracing for any evidence outside the apartment when the lady suddenly appears and demands to see Sally.
"Four months ago." The lady answered with a rather crossed expression on them.
Both Keith and Susan exchange a surprise look, as they receive another new information.
"I see.... how much did she owe you?" Susan asks her.
"two-thousand and four hundred, apparently the rant is six hundred per month" The lady answered.
"Do you know anything about Miss O'Dillar?" Susan asks her again.
"Did anything happen to her?" The woman furrowed her eyebrow, showing more concern now, as they talked.
"Ahm, apparently she is found dead...." Keith said, rather uneasy.
"Oh my?.... That's terrible." The woman said, shaking her head.
"I would be lying if I were to say I don't know anything about this young lady.... Well you know I come here monthly to ask for her rent or she will pay me through bank transaction, however this town is small so uh.... Ya you know, gossip anywhere you go." The lady said again.
"Uhm.... So I think I will just tell you what I know, If it helps." She says.
Then they make their way in and the lady begins telling them everything she knows.

Back at the station ~
Tracy and Eric took in the sympathetic scene in-front of them, as the woman whipped the minute she saw her dead daughter. The man just patted his wife's shoulder and whipped quietly too.
"How did she die?" The woman asks Tracy.
"We are sorry to break it to you, the police suspect that she is murdered and most likely rape after-that. However, based on the examination results, she also suffered from physical assault. She was found a few weeks ago by a group of young campers at Evergreen Forest." He told her.
"That son of a bitch. I knew it. Since the start I have disagreed on their relationship. Thank goodness they broke up." The man exclaimed.
"Excuse me sir?" Eric asks him.
A few minutes later...
The couple eventually manage to compose themselves after everything, and they are now sitting opposite both Tracy and Eric.
"Well.... You see. Since she is young, we are always working to give our home a better place.... And yes. To give Sally the best of the best." The man begins telling them.
"Sally has been a very mature girl since young. As she leaves with her maternal grand-parents. Which is my side. So.... ya... my parents more or less are the more strict type." The woman continued.
"I'm... really sorry for just now. My bad." The man said, with his head hanging low.
"Is ok, we understand you sir. We are really sorry for your loss too." Eric assured him.
Basically Eric has been hearing or either saying these words for like weeks, and he is literally scared that he might get tired of saying it and lose the tone to describe it. Honest to say, He really wants to help the victims to seek justice, and get whoever that person is behind bars.
"Could we know more about Sally?" Tracy asks.
"Sally.... Is a very social girl, she has uhm many friends. However we consider them good, as one of them is our neighbor's daughter." The woman said.
"Sally and Mandy know each other way back?" Eric asks them, surprising.
"Ah that! They basically meet each other way back in university. However they didn't know each other this much way back. It was after they worked together in the same company, then they got to know each other more." The woman explained to them, further.
As usual they both nodded and listened to the couple talking.
"Ahm.... are you aware of her dating....history and what's on?" Eric asked the woman.
"Yes, we are." The man answered solemnly.
"Do you mind telling us about it? I mean if you didn't want to then is-" Tracy began to speak when the man interrupted her again.
"We believe that her connection has got to do with her ex fiancé" The lady suddenly said.
"Her ex-fiancé??" They blurted out, in shock.
