"Oh wait! I think I remember something" He said suddenly.

Making Ri-Huan turn back, as his words caught the young guy's attention.

"Mind sharing with me?" He asked the chef.

"Yes. Sure. This matter has been in my head for a few weeks."

"Ok... Now tell me" Ri-Huan said, as he took out his note-pad and pen once again, and the man began his statement.

Flashback....

20th April 2019, 10:30pm - Outside Prime-Tine Chill & co bar...

On that day he entered the kitchen to help clear up the dishes and left-over as one of the guests just held a rather large birthday celebration for his wife....

He goes straight to the dish-washer and asks one of the juniors if she needs any help, as most chefs have gone home and she is among the youngsters who decide to stay overnight.

"Sir, how about the trash?" She pointed to the load of trash at the side.

"Leave it to me, you can handle the easier tasks." he told her.

Then on cue she went back to wash the dishes, while he helped to clear away the trash....

He walked to the trash corner at the back of the kitchen, and was about to throw the trash bags in when... He heard a commotion nearby.

At first he thought it was nothing, as he is too tired to bother about it. For the fifth night he has been working over-time, and he promises his wife that he will go home as soon as this whole event warps up. Which is today, the final day.

He can't wait to be home with his beloved kids and wife. He is a man of his words. A loyal son and husband too.

However, he was about to finish clearing away the trash when a certain sentence caught his ears.

"Sally honey.... I think it's best if you resign from your job..." A male voice said.

"Why?" A female voice asks...

"Sweetie.... as you can see, that colleague of yours... he is seriously taking advantage of you." The male said.

"Josh... Do you even trust me?" The female asks back.

"Yes, yes, yes. Honey. Of course I do" The male assured female.....

"If you do, please don't ever let those ladies sit in your car..." the female warned the male.

As his curiosity get in. He took a peek to see his boss Joshua talking with a lady not far away....

According to the colleague's conversation he overheard all the time, he learned that the lady his boss is dating named Sally O' Dillar. According to them, she is really pretty in the eyes of many males, and has a few dates before she dates Joshua...

His thoughts and actions were interrupted by a tap from behind...

He turns to see a Junior chef, asking him for help to clean up the bar, as the young guy says it is really messy and he is attending to the tables at the moment...

"Give me a sec. Go ahead first, I will clear the trash first." He cued the younger chef.

With that he went back to finish up clearing the trash, and went to help the others....

End of flashback....

"That's all I know" The chef finishes.

Ri-huan nodded as he wrote down the chef's statement.

"I see.... "

"However I suspect the killing is someone else doing, not Mr Joshua doing" The chef said.

"What makes you think so?" Ri-Huan asked him.

"Why would a man kill a woman he loves? She didn't cheat on him anyway. From what I heard, she broke up with her previous boyfriend before meeting Joshua at the party." The Chef told him.

"Kind of have a point too" Ri-Huan said

"Thank you sir, it is getting late now. I will be going. Thanks for the statement today. If you have anything else please call the police station" He told the chef as they were about to return back to the bar. Passing the card to him too.

"No problem sir. Is my pleasure to help the police. Although I am not the victim's family, my heart goes out for them." He said solemnly.

With that the two shake hands and go their own path.
