Emily's point of view

This is a big day for myself and Lucas. We are going to go back to the storage unit where he kept his few belongings my mother says it's time for him to be part of the family and he can move all his items from his past into our house because we are his family and we are his future.

, to my surprise my sisters and my mother are going to help move all the storage

I know Lucas doesn't talk so I make sure he has a whiteboard so he can tell us what he wants to save and what he doesn't my mother my sisters and I tell him before we get started if it gets too overwhelming to let us know when we will stop and if he wants to keep everything he can.

I find some photo albums. To see what book is looks like as a child makes me smile I can tell he's taking a picture of his mother and father he does not really talk about them and I don't want to push the issue although I think they are gone and some way whether or not they have ran away or have passed away I don't know

One thing I do realise is that it does tell us you kiss his actual parents names it states the date and that he is two years old in the picture and his mother and father and their names but I don't want to push the issue so we just keep packing up all his stuff I do find a teddy bear the minute I show it to Lucas he grabs it and hugs it with tears in his eyes this tells me that it is important to him so I will make sure I take care of it.

It doesn't take us that long to pack up the storage locker there's not very much in there and my mother gets a refund for the month not even being halfway over.

At the end of the day of packing up all the stuff we stopped off at one of our favorite restaurants a wing and burger place. Although the three of us in my mom is also a former ballerina we all love to eat but we don't eat very much we all split a cheeseburger and some wings but we all have a good time eating with celery and carrot sticks with the ranch dress LOL

Lucas on the other hand eats two cheeseburgers as well as a whole basket of Wings by himself and two baskets of fries look at my little piggy

The placemats we are given have coloring pages on my sisters and I are not very interested but Lucas and my mother are having a little bit of a competition on who can color the pages the best.

He draws a picture of what looks like a family he puts my sister's name on one of my other sister's name on another person and my mother's name then he draws a picture of a boy and a girl surrounded by a heart he tells me that that's us I feel loved

We are getting ready for bed and I'll Treehouse and I have my little surprise I put my teddy bear right next to Lucas his teddy bear which we found in storage locker and we fall asleep together each holding each other and are teddy bears

Most girls wouldn't like a skinny short scientist who kind of reminds them of Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory as a boyfriend he's into Finance as well as science fiction but loves animals especially Turtles then tortoises even talk to me the difference between a tortoise and a turtle a turtle has flippers or webbed feet and a tortoise as regular feet and we'll stay on land where a turtle can go on land and water LOL he turns everything into a learning experience now he's trying to build a rocket ship pack I know he'll probably kill himself but he'll never get it to work

You know after we have cleaned up the past now we need to focus on the future and next up is a skateboarding tournament although I'm not a skateboarder my boyfriend loves to do it so I will do whatever I can to make sure he's very prepared. I will wear my shoes with wheels AKA he leaves and I'll make sure he has plenty of wheels and water and has his helmet. I always make sure I apply a law office entry paperwork and work with his sponsors to make sure that the shirts and pants and helmet stickers are all correct. He's turning into quite a little billboard.

This is the new sticker that will be on his helmet I just think it shows a lot of style and flare.

The t-shirts the hats in the shorts that Lucas now we're all have his sponsors all over them but still have his own personal style I bring a few extra to all our skateboard tournaments that we are tending to my surprise people actually want to buy his merchandise.

This tournament Lucas will not be doing the road course he will be doing the the Big Air Force which is a little bit of a road course ends with a with a big jump he has to take three runs where has two jumps and a few rails and then for Big Air Big Air at the end.

Most of the other competitors take high-risk moves to get big scores Lucas goes conservative all three runs but go in some very nice tricks. He ends in a tie for second place but also wins an award for the best trick ending in a $2,000 payday for the trick and another $3,000 for the second place it should have been $6,000 but they made a split it between the other winner but it's okay winning $5,000 for one weekend is pretty good

When I put the highlights from the tournament on the web on our social media accounts as well as some of his sponsors websites each of them give him a $500 bonus for winning second place for a total of $1,000.

Although yes we do have to pay our taxes on our prize winnings and it will be almost $2,000 but still after taxes to walk away with $4,000 for a weekend is great. Due to his successful weekend we were invited to a few more skateboard tournaments we even are getting some looks now from the X Games. Could you just imagine my boyfriend on the TV on ESPN.

Of course my sister Erin has to bring me off My Cloud Nine and remind me that we need to get ready for a ballet recital again I'm still injured and I can't compete with my sisters and mother but I can sure help with the choreography and the painting

My mom actually decides to do I play on my favorite book as a child Charlotte's Web wear for a few of the performers will dress up like all the Barnyard animals. My sister Amelia will be one of the bigger roles of the ballet performance she will be Charlotte and she will do a beautiful dance to make the web that says one amazing Pig. A very sweet little girl will play the character Wilbur and it's my job to help her learn the steps and choreography although I still have a sprained ankle and came out form I will make sure I do the best because I understand our ballet company it is a family business even Lucas helps with the bookings and the money and financing including for someone who doesn't talk very well negotiates with our financial backers showing them ways that they can save money on their taxes as well as save money in their private businesses by helping fund our ballet Company.

Lucas cases point of view

Although I don't talk and I'm still working on my economics degree helping my new family with their business as well as dealing with my demons fixing my beautiful when my new family isn't looking I go to my psychologist and we work on some of my demons although I don't talk when I go to therapy you sure do find other ways to communicate.

I don't really know what happened to my family one day my parents were just gone and the police showed up and took me to the group home I have never really been told what happened so I'm always worried about leaving me but I know but Emily and her family really care about me but I still always feel like I need to show my value in my worth to them so I'm always looking for ways to bring in money or help them.

I've always enjoyed skateboarding is not something that I ever thought I would make money doing watch people like Tony Hawk and Shaun White on the TV and they both have lots of money but I never thought I would actually make money these are just small tournaments I mainly do them for fun

I have to find a new way to make sure that my family knows that I care about them maybe if I do something nice for all three of them maybe even throw in something for Grandma as well but we'll think of something for today I'm just going to make dinner I think I'm going to make homemade flatbread pizza.
