Chapter 4
( Moon's POV )
I slammed the school doors open as I looked around the halls. "DANIEL!!! BELLE!!! WHERE ARE YOU!?" I ran through the school and looked for them. The halls were covered in black stuff, so I did my best not to get in contact with it. I ran and called out their names and ran. No luck so far. I did hear some footsteps now and then. When I keep on looking back, I saw nothing. I shrugged until I heard some screaming. My head shot up and recognized who that was. "I'M COMING BELLE!" I shouted as I started running towards her direction. When I was almost there, I stopped. The hallway to the choir room was terrifying.
I gulped and stared at that hallway for hours. "Come on Moon! Your best friend's in there! And they're gonna die! So get over your fears and MOVE!" I said as I started to walk faster. Eventually, I noticed that I was running to the choir room, so I slammed the doors opened and there she was. Belle just standing on top of a desk screaming and surrounding her was those little black monsters! "Moon help me!!" Belle screamed at me when she noticed I was in the room. My eyes turned a light shade of purple as something was created in my hand. I looked down to see what it was.
I stared at it in awe. "Wait.... this was in my DREAM. Does that mean...?" I looked up and realized that I had to do it. "Oooooh...! Oh! Oh-oh! Right!" I said as I charged my self towards the monsters and attacked them. I noticed as each time I killed one of them, a pure heart comes out of their bodies and flies up and away. It took a while to destroy them, but soon there was just me and Belle in the room. We both looked at each other and quickly hugged each other tightly. "I thought I was a goner there...!" Belle said as I continued to hug her. "Not on my watch," I responded as we both let go and Belle saw my weapon. "Woah! I didn't know you had that! Where and when did you get it?" She exclaimed. I sighed and told her about the dreams I been having lately, including the weapon choosing and the voice I heard. "So... your dreams have been telling you this might've happened?" Belle finally said once I finished. "Something like that." I nodded. "Gosh. Um... We should find Daniel!" Belle said. "Right. Follow me! I know a shortcut to the auditorium!" I said as I quickly ran to the place where Daniel would be, with Belle following me.
( Time~Skip )
"What do you mean he's not here!? Isn't he supposed to be here for his theater club!?" I said shocked at Belle. We were looking for him as soon as we got into the auditorium, but Belle told me that he wasn't here. "I looked for him everywhere Moon! He's not even in his warm-up room!" Belle said worriedly. I started to get worried too. "Where could he be then!?" We both said as we looked around, but then Belle noticed something. "Moon look! Part of the ceiling's broken!" She said as she pointed to it. I looked up as well. "He might be on the rooftops!" I said as I followed Belle up there, but what we saw was... unexpecting. There was a portal and some of our classmates were going through it! I noticed though that they looked so... unhappy. Like they had no emotions at all! "What could've happened to them...?" Belle said in tears. "I dunno- Wait, do you sense something?" I said, my ears perking up some danger. "No what are you- AHH!" Belle screamed as she was picked up in a dark crystal ball and up in the sky! "BELLE!" I screamed for her as I saw Daniel in the same situation. "DANIEL! ARE YOU OK!?" I screamed at him. Then he was shouting something I couldn't understand. "Look....! Behind....! Watch...!" Those were the words I could hear. "Speak louder!" "They can't hear you. Nor can you hear them." I made a quiet gasp as I made a quick turn and faced the person who was talking to me.
"W-Who are you?! Release my friends right now!" I yelled. He only chuckled at me and shook his head. "Poor Moonica Phoenix. A lost Keyblade master in this... lost and lonely world. Betrothed to the King himself. Or maybe... betrothed to the TRUE love of her life." He smirked me. "Betrothment?" I said as I looked down. "W-What are you talking about? Who's 'The King himself?' and what do you mean of "TRUE love of my life.?" As far as I'm concerned, I'm not betrothed to anyone!" I looked up at him again. He only kept on smirking at me and only said, "See for yourself." He whisked his hand and revealed a guy.
"Hello love." He said smirking. "It's been a while hasn't it?" "Wait... NO. T-This can't be happening!" I said as I started to back away. But I was lifted by one of the larger black monsters. "Ugh! Let me go!" I started to squirm. I looked at the old man and shouted, "Wait how do you know who I am!?" "...Allow me to show you." He said as he formed an orb and threw it at me. "MOON!" I heard my friends shouting at me as I felt myself being let go and crashing onto the floor.
A few moments later, I regain my conscience and got back up on my feet, only to see what I was wearing.
"W-What!? Wings!? And horns!? And A TAIL!?" I started to panic a bit. "Oi calm down. You're gonna be fine" A voice said as I looked up and saw some random people looking at me. "Hiya Moon!" A female waved at me. I blinked for a few seconds before realizing who those people are. "Wait Wait Wait Wait! Crazy, Aki, Natalie, Macrafta, and Connor?! Wait, what-!?" "I'MMM SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU!" Mac shouted as she hugged me tightly. "Mac let her breathe," Connor said as he gently pulled her away from her. "I only talked to you guys ONLINE. How is it you found out where I live and TALKING to me FACE-TO-FACE?" I slowly started to say. "Trust me. We were a bit shocked and confused too when we saw each other. But, we're here now so... Hugs? I guess?" Natalie said. "Let's do it!" Aki said as we did a quick group hug. "Um also. Can one of you like... release my best friends up there." I said as I pointed up to Belle and Daniel. "I got this," Mac said as she flew up and started to release them. "SO um.... who are you marrying?" Connor asked. "Marrying? What are you talking about?" I asked, confused. ".... Moon, you have a ring on." Aki said as she held my left hand for me to see.
My eyes widened in shock. "W-When did this get here!?" I shouted. "What do you mean by that?" Crazy asked. I told them about the old man and Adam. "...So that mother(QUACKER!) exists?" Crazy said when I mentioned Adam. "And you're betrothed to a KING?" Daniel questioned as I was hugging him and Belle. "Yep, that's my life so far." I sighed as I looked at my ring and noticed something engraved onto the back of the ring. I looked closely and noticed what it said. "Mickey... So the person I'm betrothed to is some guy name Mickey?" I said out loud. "Oh. OH. OH OH. Oh, Moon." Natalie started to say. "What?" I asked. Aki then started to sing the Mickey Mouse clubhouse theme song. Connor then realized and pointed at Aki of the song she was singing. "That's your man." "Excuse me WHAT???" Belle said protectively. I was confused for 0.5 seconds before my eyes widened. "M-Mickey Mouse? That's who I'm betrothed too?" I said shyly. "Not. on. my. WATCH!" Daniel screamed as everyone but I got into an argument something about what's done is done. Well everyone except Aki and Mac and Natalie. Well, a bit of Natalie, she tried to separate everyone including Aki and Mac. I tried to avoid arguing and walked to a different part of the rooftop. Well, what was left of it? I dunno anymore. It felt like my whole world crashed. Nothing was going to be the same anymore. I just know it. "As they say, change is good. Right?" I said to myself. Or I thought to myself. "Yes, they are Moon." A different voice said. A voice I would never hear in a BILLION YEARS. I slowly turned around to see who the person was. It was him. Mickey Mouse himself. "Hello love." He said as he winked at me.
The only thing I could react was to cover my blushing face. It was him.
'EEEK!' I thought to myself.
