"I'm ok Dwalin. It stung at first, but I'm fine now."
"Are you ok?"
"I'm fine!"
"Alright."
Skipping Ahead
They had just gotten to Rivendell and Theresa was not happy.
"This wizard better know what he's doing or I'll kill him." Theresa muttered.
Dwalin slipped an arm around her waist.
"It'll be alright. We'll be out of here by morning."
"I know. I just don't like elves."
"I know you don't, and neither do I."
Later that day, they were talking with Lord Elrond.
"It is rare for there to be a single, female leader of dwarves."
"And your point being?" she demanded furiously.
Bilbo watched the queen, not even hearing her words, just tracing her curves with his eyes, which were somehow more defined in her anger. He knew he shouldn't be having the thoughts he was about the dwarven queen, but he couldn't help it.
"Nothing. Just stating a fact." Elrond replied.
"Stating the obvious more like it." Balin muttered.
Theresa suddenly felt someone watching her.
She turned and locked eyes with the hobbit, and blushed.
Skipping ahead
The eagles had dropped the dwarves, wizard, and hobbit on to the rock, and the dwarves were crowded around their wounded and dying leader.
"Give her some air guys!" Fili exclaimed.
All the dwarves backed up, laving Dwalin, who took her hand in his and stroked her cheek with his thumb.
Her eyes eventually fluttered open, and she sat straight up.
"Where is our burglar?" she demanded.
"Mr. Baggins is right here. He is fine." Gandalf said.
"You! You could've been killed! Did I not say you would be a burden? That you would never make it?" she demanded, causing everyone to jump back.
Her expression suddenly softened and she hugged him.
"I have never been more wrong in my life." she said softly.
Bilbo was confused, and hesitated before hugging her back.
