I sit in a beautiful but stiff dress. The hot summer heat making me even more uncomfortable than I already was. My name used to be Citron Egalan, but that name has been erased. My name is now Featherlight Ravensworth, and I am the new queen of Yuzarnia. I used to be a maid to the former queen, Queen Aleza, before her death. All the rulers of Yuzarnia die at a young age, and now I'm going to take the role of ruler. In school, I was taught that the reason why the rulers die at a young age was that they sacrificed a long life for the control of the nation and I had never thought much about it, until now. I never wanted to be the Queen. I still have so much I want to do, and goals to complete. The council said that I must leave the after coronation party and work omg paperwork to figure out resources to keep the shield around the country. The country for as long as I remember has been blocked and undiscovered by the outside world. Our knowledge is from shipwrecked ships and floating bottles people throw into the ocean. Memories of my childhood wash over me. All those happy times are in the past now. I am now a queen and will die early, just like the rulers and leaders before me.
