Dear Diary,

Pater decided to attack Nero and now we are all under arrest. I am with Mater and Claudia, and Marcus is in the cell next to us with Pater. Mater, Claudia, Marcus, and I are not shackled, but Pater is as he is labelled as a dangerous criminal. : ( I don't know why he attacked Nero, and he will not say why. I wish he had not because now we will all be executed at this rate. : (

Dear Diary,

Pater is being put on trial. His trial will be in 3 days. We are required to watch the trial. Mater does'nt want to, but Nero is not to be argued with. Marcus and Claudia have been in tears since they took Pater. They moved Marcus into our cell after they moved Pater. They took him to cells that are nowhere near as nice as ours.

Dear Diary,

We are about to be taken to Pater's trial. Mater is worried that he will be executed, but I was told that those who commit treason, are to be stripped naked! And afterwards, to be whipped to death! I would hate for that to happen. I must go now, for the guards are here to take us to the Senate for the trial.
