Hermione's Pov

I finally get to go home and be with Carmen. I can't believe how brave she has been through out this whole thing.

"C'mon mom let's go nana and papa invited us over for dinner let's go!"

"Coming sweetie."

"Mom, I told you before, not to call me sweetie" Carmen laughed.

"Sorry, its just that you will always be my little girl and I love you very much." I smiled.

"Yeah, yeah come on let's go!"

"Go get in the car, I'm right behind you." I said. I grab my things and run out to the car.

"So how's Hogwarts? Do you like it?" I ask Carmen who was sitting the car reading her spell book.

"I like it, but It hasn't really been on my mind lately. Not with you in the hospital."

"I'm so sorry that happened Carmen I didn't mean to scare you."

"It's okay, I had nana, papa and Draco taking care of me." She said with a smile.

"Speaking of Draco, what do you think of him?" I asked.

"Well, I already told you what I thought."

Carmen's Pov

"Speaking of Draco, what do you think of him?' Mom asked. What does she mean "What do I think of him?" I already told her I wanted him to be my dad. Doesn't that answer her question?

"I already told you what I thought." I replied. Mom didn't say anything she just nodded and smiled. We soon arrived at nana and papa's house I jumped out of the car and mom followed behind me.

"Hermione, Carmen, so nice to see you again!" Papa said as he opened the door. We walked inside and saw that nana had made a huge meal for us.

"Hermione, thank goodness your alright!" Nana exclaimed.

"Nice to see you to mom, and thank you both for taking care of Carmen while I was in the hospital." Mom said.

"Are you kidding! It was the least we could do, and Carmen pretty much took care of herself." Nana said.

"Dinner's getting cold." Papa announced. We all went to the table and sat down. Just as we were about to start eating there was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it." I said. I got up and went to the door when I opened it Scorpius and Draco were on the other side.

"Scorpius, Draco? What are you doing here?"

"Um, you left your wand at our house and I thought you would want it back." Scorpius said.

"Oh, I did? thanks." I said.

"Your welcome." Scorpius said. Mom walked out to the door to see what was taking me so long.

"Hi, Mione!" Scorpius exclaimed.

Hello Scorpius, How are you?" Mom asked.

"I'm fine." Scorpius replied.

"Um, Carmen can you and Scorpius go in the kitchen for a minute?" I'd like to talk to Draco privately." Mom said.

"Sure." I said as I walked into the kitchen and Scorpius following me.

Hermione's Pov

As soon as I knew the kids couldn't hear me I turned to Draco. He had his "classic" smirk on his face.

"Draco thank you so much for taking care of Carmen when I couldn't. You know she really looks up to you." I said.

"No, problem her and Scorpius have become really good friends." Draco replied.

"They have, haven't they." I said

Draco's Pov

As I stand there talking to Hermione she looks so beautiful. Before I can help myself my lips crash against hers. We stand there for a few moments then stop I look into her eyes, they are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. So soft and gentle.

"Well, I should go eat." Hermione finally said.

"Okay please send Scorpius out." I said.

"Okay" Hermione replied as she walked back into the kitchen.

"Scorpius your father is ready to go." I heard her say. Scorpius came out and then we left.

Carmen's Pov

When mom comes back into the kitchen I notice she was beaming. What happened out there? I walk over to the table and join my family for dinner. After we were finished I went up to the guest room to study Hogwarts stuff.

Hermione's Pov

I can't believe I'm falling for Draco...I can't be? All of our school years he treated me awful. Maybe he's changed...Has he? My thoughts were interrupted by mom walking in the room.

"Hermione, are you alright?" She asked.

"Yes, yes, fine." I said.

"Is this about Draco?" She asked. How does she know that?"

"Yes, mom it is I don't know what to do anymore." I sob

"He's so nice now but in school he treated me awful." I said.

"Maybe he liked you back then he just didn't know how to tell you." Mom suggested.

"Maybe your right." I replied.

"The main question is, do you like him? mom asked.

This can't be happening I can't be falling for Malfoy. I can't deny it anymore the truth is, I'm madly in love with Draco Malfoy.
"Yes, I do, I love him." I replied.
