You sigh to yourself as you walk to your house. You had been gone the last couple of days to go and try to find Raven with the help of Qrow, but to no avail. As Qrow mentioned, when Raven doesn't want to be found, it's almost impossible to be able to find her, as you learned just then. Thinking to yourself where she could be, you get to the door of your house. Fumbling with the key for a little bit, you then open it and smile softly when you see Summer reading a story to Yang, who sits on her lap. " Da-da's home," says Yang, pointing at you adorably, which makes your heart melt a little bit.

Making your way over to Summer and Yang, you smile and then pick up Yang, who reaches for your face. Smiling at her, you kiss her forehead. " Da-da is home," you confirm for her, which makes her giggle and laugh. You then smile and look at Summer, thankful she had watched Yang for you while you were gone. She smiles softly, and then yawns a little. " Was she good for you," you ask with a smile, knowing that despite everything else, Yang was a little angel and Summer was good with kids so you could trust her with Yang.

" Yeah. We had a lot of fun together, didn't we Yang," asks Summer, and then Yang nods in agreement, which makes you smile for the two of them. " We read some books together, I baked her some of the cookies you love, and then I also made sure to always change her diapers and then cuddle with her." Summer then hesitates, and then mouths the words to you, " I'll have to tell you something later." Nodding at this, you then sit down and hold Yang in your lap.

" Thank you for watching her Summer. I'm going to be home for a long time before I go to look for Raven again, if I do. I need to spend more time with my daughter," you say, and then Summer nods and gives a soft smile. You know her well enough by this point to know she's not saying what's on her mind, and you give her a soft smile.  " You can tell me what you're thinking Summer," you say softly and then she nods.

" I just don't get it. If Raven really loved you guys, then she shouldn't have left all of you. And at the very least, she should have told you why she was leaving, and if she was going to be back," says Summer, and then you nod, knowing why she thinks that since you've had the same thoughts before. Not wanting to have an argument with her, you nod softly. As she says this though, Yang starts to cry and then you and Summer both do the best you can to calm her, and then let out a small sigh of relief when the two of you manage to get her to stop.

" Sorry," says Summer, and you give her a small smile to let her know you don't think it's her fault. Yang then closes her eyes softly, and then you realize she's sleepy. Picking her up, you then walk with her to the bed and then tuck her in and lie down next to her. You don't think it will take too long for her to get to sleep, but to your surprise, she stays right awake next to you, looking at you, which makes you wonder.

" Did I forget to sing you a lullaby? Or do you need me to get you one of your stuffed animals," you ask her softly, but she shakes her head to the both of them and then you look at her confused and wondering what it is. You hope whatever she needs to get to sleep you're going to be able to get to her, and then she points to where Summer is in the living room, which makes sense to you since the two of them did cuddle while you were gone, so Yang is probably used to that.

" Want ma-ma too," says Yang, and then your eyes widen. You then realize this is probably what Summer had told you she wanted to talk to you about. Not wanting to make Yang confused or sad, you nod and then you walk to the living room and then you smile at her. She smiles back, and then you rub the back of your head as you explain to her that Yang wants to cuddle with her too, which makes Summer nod.

" That's what I wanted to talk to you about," she say, and then you nod. " When you were gone, she was wondering where her da-da was. Once I told her you were on a mission, she understood. But then it made her wonder where her ma-ma was, and I couldn't get her to stop crying no matter what I did, so I told her that I was her mother. I'm sorry if it makes things more complicated, but it was the only thing I could think to do," Summer explains, and then you nod and let out a sigh, thinking you'll have to figure this out later. Going back to the bed with Summer, you lay on one side of Yang, and then she lays on t he other.

" Famiwy," says Yang happily, before she falls asleep. Summer also smiles at you before falling asleep quickly. You then stay awake and then look down at the two of them as you think for a little bit about what to do. You can't find Raven, Yang seems to have accepted Summer as a part of her family, and before you slowly go to sleep, you think to yourself if it would be all that bad if Summer was part of your family. Still, you can't shake the thought of it as you fall slowly to sleep.
