-Qrow Pov-

I sit down on the airship, and then look out the windows, and then sigh to myself as I reach for my flask, only to find nothing there in my jacket. I sigh again when I realize either Raven or Summer took it from me, and then I lay back on the ship and count how many dots are on the roof.  There's nothing else to do since the two teams are separated. Normally, I would egg (y/n) and Kian on as they had drinking contests, or join them myself. Either that, or I would try to help (y/n) pick a fight with Arlan because Oum knows nothing else exciting happens around Beacon. And I would never admit it to the rest of my team, but it was kind of fun to be around Morrigan.

She was one of the few people who could maintain verbal banter with me, and keep up with my snark and sarcasm, and I had to admit that it was fun to banter with her for hours at a time, and she occasionally had some funny things to say, and her deadpan deliver about it just made it so much funnier. The two of us could argue for hours, and I actually found it more entertaining than anything else. Morrigan was just fun to be around, even if she acted like she hated me, or maybe she actually hated me. I thought about her for a few seconds, and then I admitted to myself I did like being around her.

Before I can think about it too much, I see (y/n) talking with Raven in the corner, and then she actually laughs at one of his jokes, and then playfully punches him and then she gets up to go talk to Summer about something, and then my eyes narrow, and then I go over to (y/n) and I see he has a big smile on his face as he watches Raven walk away. I punch his arm, and then he looks over to see me. " We gotta discuss something," I tell him, and then he nods.

" Alright, if this is about your flask, then Raven and I filled it with hot sauce, and then hid it from you," he admits, and then my eyes narrow. That isn't even remotely what I wanted to talk with him with, but it's good to have that knowledge. I make up my mind to find and clean my flask, and then get back at Raven for that somehow.

" Thanks for telling me," I tell him, and he nods. " That isn't even what I wanted to talk to you about it. I wanted to talk to you about Raven. I told you she has a crush on you, and she's my sister, so I need to know if you like her, or if she's just wasting time with you."

" Yeah, I do Qrow,"he admits, and then I know he's serious. He doesn't even bother with snarky remarks, or to deny it, or try to change the subject to my crush on Morrigan, which is his usual defense when it comes to this. " Qrow, I know we've only been at Beacon for a few weeks, but I really like her."

" All I needed to know," I tell him, and then I smile. " She could do a lot worse than you man." He nods, and then the two of us stand around in silence together, and then he sighs, and the two of us talk about how I wish the two of us had any alcohol with us.

We get to a point where we lie down and then count the dots on the roof, and then he sighs, and turns over to me. " So, you and Morrigan huh," he asks, and then I sigh and then look up at the roof. I want to strangle Raven for telling him I liked Morrigan. I never even should have told Raven in the first place, but I suppose I already got her back by telling (y/n) about her crush on him. I wonder if the two of us can double date eventually, but for now I just wish we had alcohol with us.

-Summer Pov-

I sit on the ship, and then watch (y/n) and Raven laugh and talk together, and then I look down and pull the hood over my head. I had told myself I was ready to see them together, but I guess I wasn't. I never got (y/n) to laugh that easily or look that at ease with himself. The two of them have a bond which goes deeper than the bond I have with either of them, even though I'm the one who's supposed to be (y/n)'s partner. As I think this, I see Raven break into a laugh at one of his jokes, and then I sigh. Her face breaks into a smile, and then I see him smile as he watches her. I have to admit to myself that the two of them are a great couple.

Raven gets up after a few minutes, and then walks over to talk to me. I notice (y/n) watching her if she walks away, and to my surprise, he isn't looking at her, well, her ass. He really has grown up even in the short amount of time we've been at Beacon. Before I can think about that for too long, Raven comes over to me, and smiles a little bit.

I smile at her, and then she begins to ask me some details about the mission, and then I do my best to answer them with a neutral expression on my face, and then I hear the pilot call for the team leaders, and then I walk down with John to talk with him about something, and then I see Raven walk back over to (y/n), and then the two of them resume their conversation, and then she playfully punches his chest, and then I walk into the cockpit.

The pilot talks with us for a little bit, and then he points down to the city, flooded with Grimm, and he tells us we need to get our teams to clear them out before we can land, and then the two of us go and get our team, and then the doors open and we hop down to clear out the Grimm.
