Part 1
-Your Pov-
Waking up, you felt a ringing in your head. Looking around you, it was easy to see why. Bottles of beer and other such drinks were scattered across the floor. As you started to sit up, you saw a girl, fast asleep with a happy grin on her face, wearing your shirt only. You had no idea what had happened last night, but she clearly did. Sitting up, you began to rub your eyes, and take in your surroundings. Before you could do that, you heard several roars. Looking outside the door, you took in the sight of a horde of Grimm trying to kick in the door to your house. Rolling your eyes, you turned away from the door, pulled on a pair of pants, and then sat down again and reached for a slice of pizza.
Just when you were about to take a bite, the door burst open, and the Grimm began to barrel in. The girl got up, let out a panicked shriek and ran. You watched her as she left, idly noting to yourself you were never going to see that shirt again in your life. This was your main concern, even as the Ursa got in your face, and then let out a loud roar. You simply look at it, utterly unimpressed by the creature. This seems to anger it, as it brings down it's paw to crush you.
However, you flip above the clumsy blow, and land a few feet behind it. Waving at the Grimm, you easily dodge it's wild charge. Seeing more Grimm step into the house however, you roll your eyes and grab your sword, Rebellion from the walls. Turning back to the Grimm horde, you wave your hand in an inviting manner, and then the Ursa rushes you again. Flipping over it, you jam your sword into the back of its head, and then watch as it falls lifeless.
This makes the rest of the Grimm hesitate before they all start to rush you. You smirk when you see this. For some time, you'd been bored, looking for something other than girls you didn't know to do. Using Rebellion, you begin to hack and slash at the horde, and revel in the feeling of fighting, and then the ease at which you can take the Grimm apart.
You nod again as you take in the Nevermore Grimm circling overhead, and launching their feathers at you. As you roll away from them, you use Rebellion to deflect some of the feathers, and then you take out your trusted pistols, Ebony and Ivory. Using the two of them, you jump and twist your body in the air, both to avoid the feathers and pepper the Grimm in the air.
Landing, you look over and see the jukebox in the corner. Making your way over to it, you hold up a hand, as if asking for a minute from the Grimm. You begin to try to make it work, but nothing comes out from the machine. " Stupid thing," you mutter, and then bring your fist down onto it, denting it. Static comes out of the machine for a few moments before starting to play some old rock song.
" Alright," you say, turning back to the Grimm, Rebellion in one hand, as you use the other to taunt them. " Come at me." The Grimm begin to rush you again, and you begin to resume cutting them down with ease, using both your sword and your two pistols in your hands.
When you've finished with the Grimm horde, you look around to see that the place you had been staying out is utterly wrecked. Sighing, you reach down and manage to find one can of beer that wasn't utterly crushed, and so you open it and begin to drink from it, until you feel a presence watching you. You turn around and aim one of your pistols at him, but to your surprise, whoever it is doesn't even flinch.
You take this time to assess the man you have your pistol aimed at. He wears a black suit, with a green scarf around his neck, and glasses that cover his, however you can make a trace of amusement in his eyes. One of his hands is rested on his cane, while the other occasionally sips from a cup of coffee.
" Quite a performance earlier," he says simply, and you lower the pistol, seeing how whoever this is clearly isn't a threat to you. " Where did you learn to fight like that," he asks curiously. Rolling your eyes, you put away your weapons and start to walk away.
" I'm Professor Ozpin. I'm the headmaster at Beacon Academy," he explains, and you nod and pretend to listen as you keep trying to walk off. " Young man, tell me what are your plans now that your house has been destroyed?"
You shrug, not really caring one way or the other. " I'll figure it out. I always have." With that, you're about to walk off again, but then he opens his mouth to speak. For some reason, you stop moving, curious what he's about to say.
" I have seen many young men like you. They've spent their entire life fighting, and don't know how to do anything else. I've made more mistakes than any man woman or child," he says. " But, me reaching out to you isn't a mistake. Come with me to Beacon Academy, and perhaps you'll be able to start living, instead of just surviving."
For some reason, that sets in with you, and so you turn around to him. "Why not old man? Why not," you repeat, and then he nods, like he expecting this to be the outcome the entire time, and then he gestures for you to follow him, and then he walks you to an airship. The two of you walk in, and then he flies for awhile.
" Welcome to Beacon," he says eventually.
( let me know what you thought)
