Eleanor's POV

"Eleanor get ready for office", I heard Amy's shout from outside of my room.

"Shut up Amy", I screamed.

I didn't slept a wink last night.

Something is missing in me! What would it be?

That damn Amy pushed me out of her room last night because I acted so clingy in her bed.

I washed up and went outside.

(Eleanor's outfit)

"You are so..", Amy started.

"Don't finish that", I snapped.

"Gonna act deaf. You look Stunning,bold, sexy", Amy smirked eyeing me up and down.

"Why do I feel like your testosterone hormone is acting up?", I Scrunched up my nose.

"I'll take that as a compliment", she smiled.

"Amy you are giving me creeps", I surrendered.

"Here", she extended my coffee.

"Well you look good", she looks cute!

(Amelia's outfit)

"Well we match", she finished.

"I'll be late tonight", I informed her.

"I don't care", she sang.

"Be good at Parker's", I warned her and went out.

Reaching the office, Cooper hurried to my side.

"Ms.Anderson your father is waiting inside", he informed me.

I nodded at him and went inside.

"Eleanor", my father smiled at me.

"Yes father", I smiled back.

It has been good from our heart to heart talk or whatever you call it.

"I have something to inform you", he started.

"What is it?".

"You have to meet someone...", He is careful about his words.

What it would be?

"Your birth mother wanted to meet you
tomorrow", he broke the news looking at me nervously.

Well that's a new feeling. It's really weird. I can sense how my father is uncomfortable to talk about her.

"Okay father", I agreed.

He stared at me.

"It's fine father", I gave a smile and moved to my table.

"Then I'll get going", he left.

I started working.

"Cooper", I called out via intercom.

"Yes Ms.Anderson", he came inside within a second. That's too fast

Well I'm impressed!

"Tomorrow is the Party. Make sure everything goes right. These files pass it to HR department and ask finance department head to meet me", I gave orders.

"Ms.Anderson You are invited for an women talk Show episode called "Aspiring Buisness woman" day after tomorrow", he informed.

Talk show. It's hard for me.

"I'm not going".

"Your father informed that you must attend this", he smiled.

"Then I shouldn't miss it right?", I smiled back.

"Yes Ms.Anderson", he stiffled a laugh and went out.

I called my father.

"Do I really have to go for that show?", I snapped.

"Yes and better watch your tone lady", he snapped back.

"I don't want to", I whined. This is the first time I'm talking back to my father.

"Meet me in the cafe that's next to ours", he ended the call.

The cafe is packed full when I entered.

"Eleanor your a CEO of Anderson! You represent the company not me. So it's necessary to attend this shows. At the same time you can give motivation to young girls", he adviced.

"Me? Father I'm a anti social person", I said honestly.

"Then become a social one. You have no option", he is rude.

"Why can't you choose Olivia as the heir?She is more interested than me", I started.

"This is my company! I can give to anyone I want", he snapped.

"Father.."

"Don't. I can't give my company to some irresponsible person".

"She is not irresponsible".

"Ofcourse she is. All she knows is to buy expensive stuffs and laze around".

"Father.."

"The company that I built is full of my blood,sweats and hardships. It's my fruit of hard work! Just because she is my first born doesn't mean that she can have it. She have to deserve that position. I worked all my life to bring this company in this position.When I collapsed few years back I know how much you worked to stable the company! It's not that easy for you when your just 21. I know you Eleanor", he finished.

"But she.."

"Answer my question. If I ask you to leave Anderson that you worked for nearly 10 years Will you leave happily?", His question made me weird.

I can't imagine it. Well I started working uninterested. But Anderson became a part of my life. I like working in Anderson. My father did built a huge firm with great reputation.

Anderson never involved in any scandal. We are clean in taxes too.

"I'll get going", I made myself out.

"Princess", I heard Ryder when I entered my cabin.

"Why are you here?".

"That's rude", he started acting.

"Get out or I'll throw you out", I informed.

"Well that really hurts princess", he looked hurt.

"I have Work Ryder", I sighed.

"Then I'll meet you evening", he smiled and left.

I relaxed my head on chair and closed my eyes.

Not even a single text from him. Does he really hate me now?Is he out with someone?

I'll ask Amy. There is nothing to be embarrassed to admit your feelings for a guy Eleanor. My inner voice boosted up my eagerness.

After few rings she took her phone.

"Hello Amy?", I called out.

She is silent.

"Amy?".

"Hello".

My breath hitched when I heard that voice. Don't be a kid Eleanor. Speak.

"Hello", I asked in a low voice.

"Isn't it Ms.Vixen?", He is too rude. He called me that after long time. But it really gave me different vibes this time. A good vibe yet a bad one that sent a shiver to my spine.

"Isn't it Mr. Devil?. Mr.Devil,It's rude to answer another person's phone!!", I smirked.

"Shut up", he snapped.

I ended the call not waiting any second. It's his fault to answer the others phone. How dare he snap at me?

Don't you have any self respect?He literally throwed you out of his office and here you acting all girly hearing his voice? My inner girl snapped.

It's you asked me to call.So shut up.I yelled and started working.

And before I know I received a call from Ryder as it's time for date.

Well let get over this debt!

"Princess", he waved at me.

I smiled and got inside the car.

"Where are we going?", I asked.

"It's a surprise", he smirked.

I stayed silent.

Ryder brought me to a small restaurant but it looked classic.

I liked it.

"I know you'll like it", he took my hand in his.

I felt little uncomfortable but it's a friendly gesture.

I have to tell him today. I don't want to give him any false hopes.

"Princess Meet Mr. Daniel and his wife", he introduced me to a sweet couple in their sixties.

"I'm Eleanor", I smiled at them. They looked nice.

After ordering I looked around the restaurant. It seems really cozy and cool.

"This restaurant is a classic one in this area. Mr. Daniel opened when he finished his college along with his wife", Ryder filled the information.

"Well that's nice", I commented.

I really love this place. It's relaxing.

"You look beautiful princess", he stared at me.

"Well thank you", I started sipping on my drink.

After few minutes the food came. It's smelled so nice.

I started eating it. It's really delicious and mouth watering like Noah's.

Noah! I miss his food he made that morning.

I shook my head and continued eating.

"You like it princess?", He asked.

"I love it", I smiled.

"Tomorrow there is party held by my company.You are invited", I told him.

"I know and I will be there whether you invite me or not", he showed his cheeky smile.

"I know that too".

"Knowing that you are inviting me I think I made a improvement on your heart", he smiled.

"What to do? My friends are all crazy", I answered.

"You don't have to draw the line clearly Princess", he looked hurt.

"Let's talk later. Finish it up", he masked his hurt and started eating.

The tension in the air vanished when we danced. He made cheesy comments then and there.

He draped his coat on my shoulders. It felt really weird.

The ride to my home is silent.

"I had a really good time princess", he kissed my cheeks.

"Here", I extended his coat and smiled at him.

After bidding goodbye I reached the apartment and relaxed on couch with a wine.

"Is something wrong?", Amy's voice scared me.

"You scared me", she just shrugged at my comment.

"I don't know Amy!", She joined with me.

We just stared at the busy city.

Everything is good today.But I miss this particular person's warmth. His smile melts me.His presence fills my emptiness. His kiss makes me smile. His talks makes me annoyed. His voice gives me chills. He makes me feel alive!

In this entire darkness I miss his eyes which illuminates my heart. He makes me feel safe. I miss him.I miss that Noah freaking Parker.
