Noah's POV

I'm shocked. Did she just stare at her empty phone all along? I know it's rude to look at others phone. But I can't help it.

I really wanted to know about her and having no password is a plus to me.

There is nothing in her phone. Except the in-built apps. No social media nothing! I'm surprised!

In her gallery there is only few photos. Amy and her photos and a family photo.

Other than that NOTHING. Coming to her contacts father,mother,sister and AMY.

Is this girl for real? Is she doesn't know to use phone or she doesn't want to?

Anyway I'll find it soon.

Didn't she have any friends other than Amy?I'm surprised again.

And in her call history it's only Amy and her father.

And the wallpaper in it made me think.

Is she really allergic to people? I never thought she will be a not so social person.

"Mr. Parker , I will ask you to leave if you are going to see your mobile again".

That made me realize that after lunch I'm totally engrossed in mobile.

"I'm sorr"

"Get out", she shouted.

"Sure Mrs. Britta", I smiled happily and left the class.

I don't mind when teachers give me special treatment by giving me free periods.

It's already 3 and still one hour to end classes. After that football practice. One of the thing I love.

I heard phone ringing. It's not mine. I took Eleanor's and it's Amy calling.

"Hello"

"Hey you annoying prick give my phone back", Eleanor shouted at other end.

Drake came near to me and he is kicked out too. He looked me suspiciously.

"Oh, You missed me. So way you called! How nice of you sweet heart", I smiled.

"Hey you deaf and dumbass better return it before I get there and Kill you", this girl has one hell of a temper.

Drake started to laugh as her voice is that loud.

"Okay, meet me at ground by 4", Saying that I ended the call.

That girl is really interesting.

"Don't tell me the almighty Noah going after a girl", Drake asked with a laugh.

"Nevermind", I sighed and went to ground.

After sitting under the tree for an hour I heard the bell ringing.

I waited for her. About 10 minutes later I saw her walking fast towards me.

"Hey beautiful", I smirked.

She glared at me and just extended the hand to give her phone.

Can't she say any hi or hello?

"Is there something you need?", I asked playing innocent.

I can see that she is trying her best not to kill me.

"My phone", she is gritting her teeth by now.

Not wanting to anger her anymore and having enough for the day I returned her phone. I sighed. Why do I want to know about this girl that much?

And with that she started to walk out. I saw her walking away.

Damn! I forgot to get her number.

"Hey Eleanor", I called out.

But being the great Eleanor she totally ignored me.

I ran to ask her.

By the time I reached there stood another boy asking something to her.

"Eleanor.. about that history project.. you are my partner.. when can we discuss about that ? tomorrow is the deadline", that nerd boy asked in a low voice obviously scared of her.

"I'm not interested", was that her reply.

The boy is literally crying by now.

"Hey.. that's really... important to me to get this project done.. please cooperate if I failed I might not be able to get scholarship", he pleaded.

"Get lost", she said calmly.

I didn't expect that from her. What I heard that she is a straight A student. Then how could she ignore the projects?

She ignored him and started to walk.

The little boy is crying by now.

Seeing the boy I think it's Mrs. Britta's project. She will never consider the project if it's not done as a team. She will confirm it with a interrogation. Whether it's done as a team or not?

She got into her car and flew away.

Why wouldn't she help him? I felt slightly disappointed.

I felt really bad for the guy.

The coach called me to practice and I went.

I felt really bored and annoyed by now. Don't ask me why? It's lunch time and I'm sitting here along with Drake and Amy.

With that girl too. Both Amy and Drake were enjoying while I'm just eating all alone.

It feels like that. Eleanor is not at all eating. There is no plate nothing.

She just staring into sky again sipping milkshake at while. It's like this yesterday too.

I'm getting annoyed by this girl. Why can't she speak something? Is she has some problem in talking?

I think there is something wrong in her mind and mouth.

Her only words in her dictionary while speaking to me is, NOAHHHHH, Hey you annoying prick , you dumbass, get lost , I'm not interested, Do you want to die?, I'll kill you.

That's it! She don't even wanted to have a conversation.

Don't think I haven't tried. I tried about 150 times in 20 minutes.

NO RESPONSE.DEADLY SILENCE.

Then suddenly that nerd buy from yesterday came to our table.

"Mm.. Eleanor", he called. He is smiling. Weird!

I watched her intently to read something from her face.

She just stared at him. No smile, no eye twitching, NOTHING.

I felt frustrated by now. I'm about to pull my hairs out because of this girl.

Then why are you trying Noah you can back out,my inner self commented.

Shut up. I retorted and watched them again.

"Ah.. thanks for", he is rubbing his neck and his cheeks were red by now.

"Get lost", here she goes again. That boy looked shocked but still smiling.

He kept the milkshake he brought and said,"This is not much. Then I'll be going", he rushed out.

I think she helped him.

Whoa!! I think I saw her smile just now. But vanished immediately.

Is it my hallucination or she really smiled.

Her smile is so CUTE!

She is CUTE!

God,She is a gem that I wanted badly to find it and make it mine.

"Did you do for him?", Amy asked smiling.

"No,I just want that Britta to lose her face", she smirked.

"Yeah she is doing on purpose to make him lose his scholarship", Amy commented.

She sighed and again gone quiet.

I smiled at her when she looked at me.

"Don't smile like that. It's really scaring", her comment made me totally shut. I think she rolled her eyes.

God!She is so cute. I started to smile like a fool.

She is really mysterious.Why did she behaved rudely when she is about to help him at last?

I'll find soon I think. Eleanor you are really surprising me.

Nerd boy POV

How would I submit my project tomorrow?

Eleanor clearly said NO. Mrs. Britta clearly wanted me to get on trouble for pointing out her mistake.

That's why she made me team up with Eleanor. That girl never spoke to anyone or cooperated with anyone. Though she is a genius she never wanted to do any projects in team other than Amelia.

Seeing her background many teachers don't bother her. But Mrs. Britta she is really daring. Eleanor will surely get zero rather than working with stranger.
God, What should I do now?

Mrs.Britta is clearly picking on me. If my mom gets to know that I failed scholarship she have to take another job. She already doing about 3 jobs. God, I'm doomed.

I woke up to the phone ringing. I don't know when I slept after crying for a long time.

Time 2am

Who would call me in this hour?

"Hello", I answered the call.

"Hey you nerd, better open the door before I change my mind", a girl replied.

I'm confused."who is this?", I asked.

"Do you want to finish your project or not?", that made me realize.

I hurried to the door and saw Eleanor standing at my door.

She just came and gone to my room like she on her own and after completing project by 4am she is gone.

Not even a single word escaped her mouth.

When I spoke she just nodded.

Thank god she helped me.

I will be forever grateful to you Eleanor.

She is not like people described. That day I came to know for sure that she is a kind girl hidden in a cold exterior.
