Lucy's pov: I woke up to Mr. Dice shaking me a bit slowly I got up his chest was warm and I didn't want to move but I had to

"Hey Lucy sleep well?" Mr.Dice asked I nodded still tired he chuckled a bit as he picked me up and wrapped his arms around me keeping me close to his warm chest as I laid my head on his shoulder fighting back sleep he chuckled a bit

"Don't worry get a little more sleep" Mr.Dice said I nodded closing my eyes as warmth covered me

King Dice's POV: as Lucy fell asleep I called for a meeting with everyone and not to scream as who they were going to meet is a little scared of loud sounds everyone was confused but agreed I took the Devil's hand and we walked to the Cafe where everyone was settled Devil cleared his throat causing everyone to look at us then at Lucy eyes wide before a word was spoken Devil put his hand up and spoke

"she is sleeping no loud sounds and her name is Lucy" Devil said Wheezy stepped up trying to find the words to ask why but I told them the story they were all shocked to say the least at the sleeping Lucy in my arms and her story

"Boss with all due respect we can't just keep a human kid here!" Wheezy said I told him that we were and she was staying no matter what Wheezy was shocked to see me like this caring for a child as if Lucy was my own I told Wheezy a room was already being made for her this shocked everyone again

"me and Dice are keeping Lucy she is NOT going to leave she is OUR daughter now" Devil said my heart fluttered when he said Lucy was now our daughter and I smiled softly as Lucy started to move slightly in her sleep thinking Wheezy woke her up Devil shot him a glare when

"Mr.Dice..?" Lucy asked I looked at her asking what was wrong and saw she looked pale

"I...I can't breath very good in here..." Lucy said as I quickly took her out of the room so she could breath better thinking Wheezy's smoke might be causing breathing issues when she looked better after being out of the room for a short while she seemed better I smiled as I tried to slow my heart rate feeling like I just ran a 10k mile run when Devil came by worry in his golden eyes

"Lucy are you alright?" Devil asked Lucy nodded tomorrow I was going to get her medical records to see whats wrong and why she had trouble breathing when Devil gave me a contract on it was a woman's name that said "Samantha Campbell" but when I read the contract and its details I saw that the woman gave up custody of her 8 year old daughter named Lucy?! I looked at Devil shocked

"the mother made a deal to sell her daughters soul to pay her debts but I doubled her debts and made her lose custody" Devil said proudly I smiled and looked at Lucy who was confused when Devil got on her level

"custody means who watches over you Lucy and she gave us custody that means me and Dice are now your parents" Devil said as Lucy's eyes widen as the gears in her head started to turn I chuckled slightly as Devil placed a hand on her head

"your our daughter now Lucy" Devil said a soft caring smile on his face as I saw Lucy start to tear up a smile on her face as she hugged Devil muttering a thank you I smiled softly at this she was going to be safe no matter what then I heard a tiny yawn coming from Lucy I smiled softly and picked her back up

"heh I'll tell everyone the rest you make sure she stays asleep" Devil said I nodded and laid down cradling Lucy softly smiling when one of the hard hat wearing imps came by giving me some plans they have I smiled when they told me the room was almost done and I even saw one Imp getting closer to Lucy the Imp I'm seeing wasn't like the others in fact it was one of Devils special Imps one that help with contracts looking at Lucy's sleeping figure and I'm sure they was fighting the urge to cry I asked them if they could watch Lucy for a moment while I get a drink the Imp nods as I grabbed some coffee to drink I saw one gently patting her head keeping her calm after I made the coffee I sat down next to Lucy and smiled softly as Devil came by to check on me and Lucy who was still asleep

"how are you both?" Devil asked I told him I was scared that Lucy could have breathing issues Devil hugs us close I blushed slightly at the close contact but relaxed a bit and I saw Lucy had woken up

"Mr.Dice...?" Lucy asked I asked her if she was okay worrying she was having trouble breathing again

"can I have some food please...?" Lucy asked I told her she could and that I will help her make some she smiled showing fangs could she be....no she's a human not anything else I brought her to the kitchen and helped her make some soup she seemed to know how to make ready in less than five minutes soup or cup noodles but she wasn't that old and she seemed to know what money is and how to spend it by looking at the machines I chuckled slightly seeing the gears in her head turn slightly reminds me of Minnie...I promise to protect you Lucy you won't be taken from me I saw the devil carrying an imp with a suit similar to mine with a heart sewed professionally on the front pocket where there was a napkin 

"greetings King Dice" The Imp said I greeted them both as Lucy put the cup noodles cup in the microwave and grabbed a plastic spoon and fork as the microwave beeped and she took it out and sat at the table and starts to eat I smile softly then I had an idea I got close to Lucy and asked her if she liked wearing a dress 

"no I dont they don't keep me warm" Lucy said I kept what she said in mind and asked her how she felt about being here I waited for her to finish her food 

"I love it here! you saved me! and you've been taking care of me too! everyone has been so nice to me!" Lucy said I felt my chest tighten more then I smiled to her

"um...is it okay if I call you dad?" Lucy asked I smiled and told her she can and picked her up smiling

"thank you for everything dad" Lucy said hugging me close I hugged her back as Devil came and saw us I saw he had a smile I smiled back to him I'm finally free from my mother but Sister is still with them and could be in danger I told Mr.Dice about my sister and his eyes widen

"you have a sister who's in danger..." he said as he picked up the phone typing something before setting it down I was confused and asked what he did he only smiled to me then a small black circle was next to us and a type of demon comes out he was an imp with a purple suit on with a heart on the pocket where a handkerchief was he was red so the purple kinda stood out to me he bowed to Mr.Dice 

"Hello King Dice how may I help you?" the imp asked they had a male voice as he saw me his eyes widen

"King Dice is that...?" He trailed off as I saw Mr.Dice nodding

"Yes you will be her playmate from now on you'll keep her safe as well" Mr.Dice said I was surprised at Mr.Dice's words did he really mean that? I will have someone keep me safe? just like how big sis did? maybe this could be a new chapter in my life....a chapter where I can be what i want without fear of being hit....I think I'm going to like being with Mr.Dice after all
