Very long chapter!

It's been two days out at sea and everyone's beginning to like and trust Fia more. Right now, they're all gathered at the front of the ship not doing anything really. Luffy and Fia have decided to share the figurehead spot since it's big enough for both of them. Nami's reading a map, Zoro is sleeping while leaning against the rail, and Sanji is standing while smoking next to him, and Usopp is in the bird's nest looking through a telescope.

"Nami? Shouldn't we reach the Grand Line soon?" Luffy asks.

"What do ya think? We just left Logue Town two days ago. It'll take some time before we get there," Nami says. "Just be patient."

"Okay!" Luffy grins with a laugh.

"Ah, feel that sunshine," Sanji says. "With weather like this, it feels almost as if that storm was just a bad dream."

"Hey! I see a flock of birds starboard," Longnose says.

"Are you sure?" Luffy asks.

"Yeah, and they're surrounding something. I can't make it out exactly, but it's big. I wonder what it is?"

"Maybe a fish?" Luffy says.

"Maybe. Or a small boat, a fish? I don't know," he says, adjusting his goggles.

"I've heard it's common to flock about fish and even trail them," Sanji says.

"It is?" Luffy asks excitedly.

"That's right, sounds like lunch to me," Sanji says.

"You said it! Gum gum... grab!" Luffy says, stretching his arm back and flinging it forward.

"Whoa!" Longnose shouts. "That's a stretch!"

"It never gets old," Sanji says.

"I caught it!" Luffy shouts. "Come here. It seems pretty big."

"Nice one, Luffy," Nami says.

"You're reeling in fast," Sanji says. "Dial it down! Uggh!" He quickly falls to the floor to lie flat.

Luffy ends up hitting Zoro, knocking him far off into the water.

"Hahaha!" Fia laughs loudly. "That sucks!"

"Ugh, uh, I'm sorry," Luffy says.

"Dumbass!" Sanji shouts, standing back up.

Fia continues to laugh as she pulls up a paralyzed looking Zoro. "Let's be honest, you kinda deserved that for being so mean the other day."

"Eh, that's no kinda fish I've ever seen," Sanji says.

"It's no fish, it's a girl," Nami says.

"Uh, a fish person? Where's her webs?" Luffy asks.

"Luffy, you dumbass. She's just a little kid," Fia says.

"Why would someone leave a child out in the middle of the ocean like that?" Nami asks. "Makes no sense."

Dragon. Fia sniffs the air and it leads her to the girl. "She has a dragon claw."

"A dragon claw?" Longnose questions.

"That necklace is a claw of a dragon," she says, getting closer to her.

"How do you know that?" Sanji asks.

"Just do," she lies, picking the girl up and taking her to the bench in the kitchen. She sets her down. "Longnose, can you get me a pillow and a blanket?"

"Yeah," he says and rushes off to get just that.

"Aren't dragons extinct?" Luffy asks.

"No, they aren't," Fia growls.

"Okay," Luffy says and goes to sit at the table. "Sanji make me some meat!"

Sanji sighs. "I guess it is time for dinner, isn't it?"

"Yeah," Nami says.

"I got the blanket!" Longnose says, coming in the room.

"I hear we have a newcomer," Emerald says, flying in behind Longnose.

"Yeah,"Fia says. "She has a dragon claw."

"D-dragon? Really?" Emerald asks.

"Yeah," she says, taking the pillow and placing it under the girl's head. Longnose puts the blanket over top of her and sits next to Fia on the floor by the girl.

Zoro comes in and leans against the wall, immediately falling asleep. Sanji begins preparing dinner and once the smell begins drafting through the air the girl quickly sits up. Longnose being over her, she headbutts him really hard.

"That hurt!" she shouts and holds her head in pain.

"Hey, you're awake," Nami says. "That was quicker than I expected. Don't worry, you're alright now."

"Nothing that some grub won't cure. I'm cooking some soup if you're hungry," Sanji says.

She looks around and cheers. "Lucky!"

"I'm guessing you were shipwrecked," Nami says. "You are lucky. What's your name?"

The girl scowls. "Before asking a stranger questions it's polite to give them your name first."

"No need to be rude. I'm Fiammetta, but call me Fia."

"I guess that's true," Nami chuckles. "I'm Nami. The one cooking the good smelling food is Sanji."

"Hi," Sanji greets.

"That's Zoro. Despite his scowl he's actually a good guy," Nami says.

"Shut up," Zoro scoffs.

"You're still just ticked off at getting knocked off the ship," Fia chuckles, earning a dirty look.

"You've already met the one unconscious on the floor. That's Usopp," Nami says.

"You can just call him Longnose. This is my pet. Her name is Emerald."

"Hi!" Emerald says.

The girl smiles at Emerald.

"I'm Luffy, and I am the captain of this pirate ship," he proudly exclaims.

The girl screeches. "W-whaaat?! Pirates?!"

"That's right and we're on our way to the Grand Line," Luffy says.

"What's wrong?" Nami asks.

"She isn't moving," Luffy points out.

"You just told her that we're pirates. You know how scary that is to a little girl?" Fia scolds with an eyeroll. "Children are taught that pirates are bad."

"But we aren't bad," Luffy says.

"But she doesn't know that."

"So, what are we supposed to do with her?" Zoro asks.

"Uh, I'm not sure. I'll have to think it over," Luffy says. "I can deal with this tomorrow."

"Why me..." she whispers.

She skips out on dinner, and everyone eventually goes to bed. Fia has a bottle of wine and is sitting at the table drinking it, watching the little girl huddled in her blanket.

"So," she starts.

"A-are you not gonna go to sleep o-or are you keeping w-watch on me to make sure I don't m-mess with anything?" she asks.

"I don't sleep much," she admits. "I don't really care if you mess with anything."

"Oh..."

"I have to ask," she starts, sipping her wine. "Why do you have a dragon claw? I figure that's why you were by yourself because you were escaping from someone because you know something about a dragon. That someone wanted to know about that and kidnapped you. Am I right?"

"I-I have no idea what you're talking about!" she shouts.

"So, I got it spot on, huh?" She finishes her glass and pours some more. "Who kidnapped you?"

She sighs. "You're really smart."

"I know, but that's not an answer."

"F-fine... T-the marines..." she admits.

"Filthy bastards." The devil finishes the bottle. "Well, you should go to sleep. I'll leave you alone."

Fia leaves the room to go sit on the figurehead. After a little bit, she notices Luffy get up and sneak to the kitchen. She rolls her eyes and walks to the kitchen after all the screams go off and right as the little girl's stomach grumbles.

"What's wrong? You're hungry too?" Sanji asks her.

"Hmph," she huffs and turns her head away.

"You skipped dinner. I know you skipped lunch. What is this, a hunger strike? You think the big bad pirates are gonna poison you? Is that it?" Sanji asks.

She rapidly shakes her head back and forth. Fia walks in and sits next to her.

"Hello, Sanji."

"Hello, beautiful!" he says.

"If you just sit there like that, he's going to eat everything," Fia tells her.

"Huh?"

"That's okay, more for me," Luffy says, reaching for the soup in front of the girl.

Her face turns to a frown. "Get back!" she snatches the soup and gulps it all down. "Ah, yummy!"

"Yeah, I know it. I picked Sanji personally," Luffy says.

"I've never had anything this good!" she exclaims.

"You're finally smiling," Nami says from the door.

They fuss with Luffy for eating so much, and he obviously doesn't remember emptying two pots for lunch.

"Did you really think we were evil?" Nami asks.

"Well..." the girl says and slightly looks at Fia. "I guess."

"Well, you're not alone. That's a common sentiment these days. We're getting used to it," Nami says.

"You're not gonna sell me off?"

"No way!" Longnose exclaims.

"You kinda do have a scary look. I can see her point," Zoro says.

"You're the one with bad looks," Longnose says, pulling Zoro's face. They then get in a fight.

"Ugh, why are they, such morons?" Nami asks.

The girl begins to laugh. The night ends with smiles.

After everyone goes back to sleep, Fia heads back to the figurehead and lay back to look at the stars. Before she knows it, it's morning, and brought out of her thoughts by a loud explosion and the shaking of the ship. If she were anyone else she would've been knocked into the ocean.

"Hey, just what did you do?" Sanji calls out to the girl who just walked out of the kitchen as black smoke pours out around her.

"I was preparing a meal!" she replies.

"Hah?" he replies.

"Everyone! Breakfast is ready!" she shouts.

Fia waits a while not exactly hungry before heading into the kitchen to find everyone rapidly chugging water.

"Are you sure?" Luffy asks. "This is good stuff."

"Sanji didn't cook?"

"Apis did," Nami says and whispers in her ear. "Don't eat it. It's terrible."

Fia looks at the ash on everyone's plates. She grabs Zoro's fork and take a bite. "Mmm. Good..."

"What?" everyone, but Luffy, screams.

"How can you eat that stuff?" Longnose says.

"It's really spicy. I love spicy."

Luffy and Fia end up finishing up all of the food. Once they finish, Sanji begins washing the dishes and Nami asks a question.

"So, what's your story? Were you drift at sea? Stranded? Was someone after you?" Nami asks.

"The marines held her prisoner," Fia says.

"Wait, how do you know?" Zoro asks.

"We talked last night. I guessed everything perfectly."

"It scared me how she read me so easily," Apis says.

"Why there must've been a reason why you were held by the marines," Zoro says.

"Um, I..." Apis says and slightly looks at me.

Fia basically hears her mentally say for me not to tell them. "We're not interested in something like that anyway."

"What're you talking about?" Emerald asks.

"I'll tell you later, Emerald."

The girl looks at Fia with shock and that's when she realizes something. You can hear my thoughts, can't you?

"No!" she shouts.

Fia dangerously smirks as everyone else looks at her confused. "I need to speak with Apis for a second," she says, grabbing her arm and pulling her out the room.

"Let me go! Let me go!" she shouts.

"No, you know a secret about me that no one should know."

"Please don't kill me!" she squeals.

"I'm not going to kill you so be quiet." Fia drags her to the storage room and locks the door behind them. "You will not tell anyone about what I am."

"So you really are a dragon?" she asks.

"You'll be the first to know that's lived. I've killed everyone that's found out I'm actually a dragon. I won't kill you because I'm with a crew now, and you're a child. But, if you dare say a peep of this to anyone, I will find and eat you."

She gulps. "I-I p-p-promise I-I won't tell a s-soul..."

"Good. You must've eaten the Whisper Whisper Devil Fruit."

"Yeah, I did," she admits.

"Don't go in my head again. If you do, I won't hesitate to throw you into the water."

Fia walks back out the room to the kitchen, dragging the child with her.

"What was that all about?" Zoro asks.

"None of your business," Fia snarls and leaves the room up to the bird's nest.

Later on, Longnose comes up and begins looking through his telescope again. Next thing she knows cannon balls are shot at them, making the ship rock.

"I wanna fight em," Zoro says.

A large wind ends up pushing them away from the marine ships.

Fia is quick to notice their new predicament. "Idiots," she huffs and leaps down from the bird's nest. "We're not moving."

"What?" Nami asks.

"That's what I thought," Zoro says. "We aren't moving, you feel that?"

Nami suddenly screams and attracts everyone's attention.

"Nami, what's wrong?" Luffy asks.

"Are you hurt?" Sanji asks.

"We're screwed!" Nami shouts.

She goes on to explain where they are, and the others don't seem to understand.

"The monsters are coming," Fia simply says and heads to higher deck onto the figurehead.

They're suddenly lifted into the air by a giant sea creature. Everyone becomes really still.

"Any idea how we get outta this?" Sanji asks.

"Yes," Zoro says. "Everybody don't move a muscle. We don't wanna give them any reason to stick around or eat us. Once they're gone, we'll paddle back, got it?"

"You call that a plan?!" Longnose shouts.

"Shut up!" Nami hushes him by covering his mouth with her hands.

This attracts a giant frog's attention while the girl to goes flying straight toward it as the ship tilts. Fia grabs her and flings her back to Luffy's outstretched arm as she punches the frog in the face, causing him to perish back in the water. Fia easily lands back onto the figurehead, examining everyone's gaped faces. Luffy stretches Apis up toward the bird's nest.

"Your arm it's stretching!" Apis shouts. "Luffy, did you get your ability by eating a Devil Fruit?!"

"Yeah, that's right," Luffy answers.

She ends up telling Luffy to take her to the beast's nose, and she pulls out a nose hair, causing the monster to sneeze and them to go flying.

"And our destination is?" Nami asks.

"Where else? Warship Island!" Luffy exclaims.

They eventually make it to the island, and the villagers greet them with weapons. I sense another presence of a dragon.

"I'm home! Hi everyone!" Apis shouts with a wave.

The situation is quickly resolved as everyone becomes convinced that they're good pirates. They end up going to Apis' grandfather's house. He ends up making pork buns, but it takes a long time, and he ends up telling them the really long story about a legend about dragons on the island.

Apis sneaks out, and Fia decides to head out into the woods, following the scent of the other dragon on this island. This is an actual dragon. Fia is a demon dragon. He's just a plain old dragon. A different species though. Fia decides to transform in her more wanted form and fly up the mountain to the cave. She returns to her normal self at the entrance and wait for little Apis to head up the mountain. After a while, she eventually shows up with a bag full of the pork buns her grandfather made.

"I knew you'd show up eventually."

She screams. "Fiammetta?!" she shouts. "You scared me."

"I should scare you," Fia admits. "I was waiting for you to introduce me to this dragon."

They walk in, and Apis greets him. "Hello! I brought you some pork buns."

"Damn, you are one ugly old geezer!" Fia blurts out and laughs.

"Hey!" Apis shouts at her.

"Sorry. So you're really a dragon, huh? You look more like a giant bird."

Apis begins talking to him calling him Grandpa Ryu and telling him all about her travels and why she's been gone so long. Fia eventually senses Luffy and Nami coming into the cave and Nami hides while whispering to Luffy.

"Hey, Apis, where did ya put all the pork buns?" Luffy calls out.

"Luffy, you're an idiot!" Nami fusses.

Luffy walks up further and Apis blocks off Ryu. "Stop! Don't come near!"

Luffy's eyes go wide. "Huh?! Uh... uh..."

"Luffy, what the hell are you gawking at?" Nami asks and walks forward. Her facial expression becomes one of fright as her eyes pop out of their sockets. "Aah!"

"And this is why nobody should know about dragons..."

"Amazing!" Luffy squeals and begins jumping all over to look at Ryu.

"H-huh?" Fia says, looking at Luffy with surprise.

"What are you doing?!" Apis shouts. "Stop!"

"You do exist! I knew it!" Luffy says. "That's awesome."

"Get off of him! Leave him alone!" Apis shouts.

"Incredible. Where in the world did you come from?" Luffy asks. Ryu opens his eyes, and Fia hears what he says to Luffy. "Sure. I think I understand. You wanna go home. Is that it?"

"Huh?" Apis says amazed. "Okay. Luffy, Grandpa Ryu says it's fine with him if you wanna be his friend. He says he can tell you're a good person." She looks at Luffy amazed. "Hey, I've been able to read Grandpa Ryu's mind, but how did you do it?"

"I don't know. I just did," Luffy says.

"But how?"

Luffy has the Voice of All Things... More and more like Roger everyday...

"I don't know. It just happened. How did you know?" Luffy asks.

"Uh... I... Um..."

Fia decides to speak up. "She has a Devil Fruit power."

"Fia? When did you get here?" Nami asks.

"I've been here the whole time. I was here a little before Apis was."

"Yeah, I ate the Whisper Whisper Fruit," she says. "Since then I've been able to read the mind of any animal."

They go on to talk about how Ryu was the first time he reached out to her.

"Wait, I thought Lost Island sunk a long time ago?" Nami asks.

"Lost Island will surface again, eventually," Apis says. "Grandpa Ryu is absolutely sure about that. Grandpa believes the island will reappear any day now. He doesn't remember where it used to be."

Fia sighs. "I know where Lost Island used to be. I can take us there. What an old man."

"R-really?" Apis asks.

Fia slightly glares at her. "Yes, I just said I would."

"I've decided," Luffy exclaims. "I'll take Ryu to Lost Island!"

"You really mean it?!" Apis squeals.

"Yeah," Luffy says.

"Sunken island," Nami sighs. "I'm in!"

"Yeah!" Luffy cheers.

"We'll go get the others," Nami says, grabbing Luffy. "You two stay here." They leave the cave.

"Why are you helping?" Apis asks me.

"He may be an old geezer, but he's still a fellow dragon. I will always help a fellow dragon. It's in my nature."

"So, what kinda dragon are you?" Apis asks. "You're obviously not Grandpa's kind. You clearly not a full dragon either, so what are you?"

"I'm part dragon part demon."

"D-demon?!" she screeches.

"The Devil is my father. You got one of my dad's fruit's power."

"W-wh-what?!" she shouts.

"You can't tell anyone," Fia grunts. "Remember my warning."

She gulps and becomes really quiet. After a while, the others show up and all become completely shocked at the sight of a dragon. Longnose eventually gets his head in Ryu's mouth then runs away behind a boulder.

"Anyway, this dragon is the reason that the marines have been chasing after Apis," Nami says. "We can't let the marines get their hands on him. We brought you here because we need you to help Apis take him back to his home on Lost Island."

"Are you nuts?" Longnose shouts. "In case you haven't forgotten the marines are after us too with that blockade we're gonna have enough trouble escaping ourselves let alone with a ginormous lizard!"

Longnose begins to fuss more, and Fia scoffs. "Shut up, Longnose. We're taking the dragon whether you like it or not."

"I agree, but first things first. How are we supposed to bring our big friend here down the mountain and onto the Going Merry?" Sanji asks.

"It's easy. We're gonna build a cart," Nami says. "One big enough for Grandpa Ryu to ride. Let's move."

"Thank you!" Apis shouts.

Sanji, Zoro, Luffy, and Fia end up cutting a bunch of trees down, and all pitch in to make a cart. Longnose and Zoro end up having to go fetch the ship to bring it around to a cape that looks a lot like Longnose's long nose.

"Bring it around to that cape," Nami says. "The one that looks like your nose."

Luffy and Fia laugh. "Oh, that's funny. It really does look like his nose."

They leave and the rest of the crew help Ryu get onto the cart. Ryu gets on the cart, and they wait somewhat patiently for Zoro and Usopp to bring the ship around.

"The marines are coming," Fia warns. "I feel a lot of people surrounding the area."

"How do you know?" Luffy asks.

"I can feel them."

"How can you feel them?" Nami asks.

"I was trained that way. I'll teach you too, but later and not now."

"Trained?" Sanji questions.

"What are we gonna do?!" Apis yells. "They're getting close!"

"Don't worry," Nami says. "Remember we got these three with us."

"They've spotted us," Fia says. "Get ready for battle."

"I'm ready!" Luffy shouts.

"No stop!" Apis yells, catching sight of some hidden marines. "Please don't shoot Grandpa Ryu!"

"Apis!" Nami shouts.

Ryu protects Apis with his wing, and she turns to look at him in shock. "No! Please!"

They shoot off their weapons, and Luffy jumps in front shielding everyone with his body. The bullets deflect from him.

"Way to go, Luffy!" Fia nods.

"I see you have Devil Fruit powers," the purple haired man says.

"Uh huh, I'm a rubber man," Luffy says.

They come to attack, and Luffy and Sanji knock em all out. A marine stands up and clumsily walks over while purple hair begins to walk up. Purple hair slices him across the chest with his hand.

"No, watch out!" Fia shouts and walks out in front of Sanji and Luffy. "He has Devil Fruit powers too."

"That's right. I ate the Sickle Sickle Fruit which gives me–"

"Incredible wind power," Fia interrupts.

"That's right. I'm Eric here on Commodore Nelson's orders. I have no business with you. I want the dragon. Move or suffer my wind," Eric says.

"Hey, Nami?" Luffy asks. "Can we go yet?"

"Not yet," she responds. "Just a little longer."

"I wish they'd hurry up," Luffy mutters.

Eric gets annoyed that we're ignoring him. "Hey! Straw hats! Are you listening? Did you hear anything I just said?"

"Yeah, you're a Devil Fruit user, so what?" Luffy says and chuckles.

"Let's see how much you laugh after you get a taste of this," Eric says, bringing his left hand over his right shoulder, fingers straight. "Sickle sickle whirlwind!"

The piercing wind comes straight for us, but Fia deflects it with her own powers, causing the wind to swerve to the left, cutting down some trees.

"Taste of what?" Luffy asks, looking at the trees. "You missing?"

"W-what? That shouldn't have happened..." He tries again, and Fia pushes the wind aside. "How are you doing that?!"

"You can't touch someone like me," Fia says, deflecting the next attack.

"That's impossible!" he shouts. "Move or I'll make you! I'm here for the millennial dragon."

"No!" Luffy shouts.

"Alright, your funeral," Eric says.

"Luffy! It's time to go!" Nami shouts.

They rush up to the cart and cart down the hill at a fast speed. Eric jumps in front, and Fia blows him aside into some bushes. Luffy breaks a giant boulder in the way, and they fly off the cape into the water. The cart is tightened to the back of the ship, and now they're on our way to Lost Island.

"So which way to Lost Island, Fia?" Luffy asks.

"We're already here."

"What?" Nami says.

"Lost Island is underneath Warship Island."

"If that was true then wouldn't we know about that?" Apis shouts.

Fia turns to glare at her. "You dare doubt me? You do remember what I told you, right?"

"Y-yes..." she mumbles and rushes off somewhere.

"Told her what?" Nami asks.

"None of your business. That's only for me and Apis to know."

"There's no way that Lost Island is at Warship Island," Usopp says. "Don't you think the villagers would know about that?"

"Fine, you guys can believe what you want. When the time comes, I'll say I told you so," Fia huffs. "Don't expect me to give any of you help on this trip because you all think I'm lying."

"They would believe you if they knew," Emerald says, flying up to land on my shoulder.

"They wouldn't believe me if I told them. I'll be in my room."

~~~Zoro's POV~~~

Fia stomps off to her room, leaving us to question the dragon which way we should go.

"Sorry for the wait everybody," Apis' voice rings off. "I hope you're hungry!"

"Oh, no... Don't tell me she cooked again..." Zoro says, eyebrow twitching.

"No one was waiting for her food," Usopp says.

"Heh heh..." Nami chuckles nervously.

Sanji walks up behind the giggling girl.

"Sanji! What a relief!" Usopp says. "For a minute there I thought you weren't the one who made the meal." Apis steps on his foot. "Ah! Ah ah!"

Apis walks up to the edge to look at the dragon. "Lunch time!" she says, lifting the pot up to the rail. "Now eat up, Grandpa Ryu!"

I see Fia come back on deck muttering something as she jumps down to the dragon next to Luffy.

"Food! All right! Yummy!" Luffy cheers, stretching his arms out and grabbing the pot. "Uhh! Hoooot!"

"Noooo!" Sanji shouts, watching the food tip over.

Fia quickly takes action and scopes all the food back into the pot and takes the pot to the dragon. "Here you go, you old geezer."

"H-h-how does that not burn you!?" Luffy shouts.

"I don't have feeling in my hands," she says.

She just lied.

"That sucks," Luffy says, buying the lie.

Apis goes down the rope to the dragon, and he looks at her. Zoro zones out till he heard the girl say that Lost Island is to the east of Warship Island. Fia scoffs.

"You may be an old geezer, but you should at least remember where your home is," Fia says. "Who knew you could be so scatterbrained for a dragon?" She leaps back up onto the deck like it was nothing and heads back to her room.

Zoro begins to follow her once he sees the storage room door shut.

"Hey, Zoro, where you going?" Sanji asks.

"I'm gonna go check on Fia."

"I'll come with!"

"No, I don't need some blond bimbo following me with love sickness in his eyes," he scoffs, shoving him away. He walks to the storage room and was about to knock until he hears Fia's voice through the hatch.

"I don't know, Emerald. If they knew they wouldn't accept me. They'd probably kick me out," Fia says. Emerald tweets a response.

"Kick her out? If we knew what?" he whispers to himself.

"If only it were that simple." It's silent for a moment. "Ugh, I know you're there, Zoro."

"Eh?!"

"Just get in here and stop eavesdropping!"

He opens the hatch and comes into the room. "S-sorry. I didn't mean to."

"What do you want?" she scoffs.

"You were lying."

"Lying?"

"When you said you have no feeling in your hands. That was a lie."

"I don't," she says. "Actually, you're right. I was lying. I don't have feeling all over my body."

"What?"

"Watch," she says, grabbing her small knife from its holder. She holds her hand out and drags the knife across her palm.

"What are you doing?!" he shouts, stopping her. He watches amazed as the wound begins to heal as if the cut never happened. "How?!"

"I'm uh..." she mutters and looks away.

"Are you a Devil Fruit user?"

"Uh, yeah, I ate... the Mend Mend Fruit," she says.

"Why would you think that we wouldn't accept you if you have a Devil Fruit power? Luffy has a Devil Fruit power."

"Yeah, I guess..." she mumbles.

"So what else does your power do?"

"I-I can't be harmed by bullets, my speed and reflexes are enhanced, and Devil Fruit powers can't touch me. They just don't work on me. I can also heal people with my blood."

"That's pretty cool." Suddenly screams are heard from outside. "What is all the screaming about?"

"I guess you should go find out," Fia says. "Because I'm still not helping any of you."

He sighs. "For what it's worth, I believed you," he says before making his way out to the others.

"Ah!"

He rushes to where he hears Apis' scream to see her trying to hold the rope that's holding the dragon from leaving the ship and grab it from behind her. He moves over to grab the other rope, and Luffy comes and wraps his arms around a wheel. They get out of the storm and set sail for the island in the middle of the surrounding storm. They port, and everyone gets off.

"I'm gonna go see if Fia is gonna come or not," Zoro says, walking to her room. He knocks on the hatch. "Fia? We've reached an island. Are you gonna come?"

"No," her voice comes through the hatch clearly. "This is just the island that'll prove that I was right all along. Just go away."

"Alright, whatever," he scoffs and make his way back to the others.

"Is she coming?" Sanji asks.

"No, you guys all said you didn't believe her so she's mad at everyone. She said that this is just the island that will tell us that she was right."

"Oh, well," Nami says. "Just let her stay here. She can watch the ship."

"Hopefully, she won't steal it, like a certain someone," Usopp says.

"What was that?!" Nami shouts, punching the back of his head.

"Oww! Sorry!"

They end up having to pull the dragon all the way up the mountain but not without some arguing along the way. The group arrives at the top just to end up falling into a giant hole.

"Hey, up there, look," Luffy says, looking up at a large painting on the ceiling.

"What is that?" Apis says.

"Oh, man! That painting's so huge!" Luffy says. "Wonder what it's of?"

"It looks kinda like a map to me," Usopp says.

"Maybe, but it's so worn out it doesn't make much sense," Sanji says. "What is this place anyway? Wasn't this supposed to be the dragon's nest?"

"I don't know," Luffy says. "Apis, do you know?"

"I don't. Grandpa Ryu says he doesn't know what it is either," she responds.

"Oh, man," Usopp says. "Are all millennial dragons as useless as he is?"

"Take that back!" Apis shouts.

"I'm only telling the truth."

"OH yeah? And how exactly are you being useful?" she shouts.

"Me?"

"Hey, guys, a piece of the ceiling fell here," Luffy says.

"Yikes," Usopp says.

"It's huge!" Apis exclaims.

"This whole thing is falling apart!" Usopp says. "Um, speaking of which, isn't it dangerous to be walking around this place? I don't know about you, but I don't wanna get flattened like a pancake. Come on, let's get outta here!"

"No, we can't, this might be the dragon's nest," Apis claims.

"I don't see any dragons hanging around here, do you?" Usopp asks.

"Hold on a second," Nami shouts.

"What is it, Nami dear?" Sanji asks.

"Fiammetta was right. This isn't the island with the dragon's nest," Nami says.

"So what makes you think this isn't Lost Island?" Luffy asks.

"Look up," Nami says.

"What? The painting?" Luffy asks.

"Look closely. Usopp was right. It is a map and it marks the location of Lost Island," Nami says. "Do you see that island with the dome-shaped building on it? Well, that's this island and that dome is the building that we're inside of now."

"They do look the same," Sanji says.

"And those figures, they must represent people. I'll bet anything that they're the ones that used to inhabit this island a long time ago and if that's the case they're probably Apis' ancestors," Nami says.

"Ancestors?" Apis whispers.

Zoro begins to zone out and wonder how Fia knew that this was the island where we would learn that she was right. She didn't even look at the island, so how did she know?

"Then where would the real dragon's nest be?" Apis asks.

"Wouldn't it be on the island with the dragon drawn on it?" Zoro asks.

"You're right!" Nami exclaims. "Where those people are praying just ahead of them is another island and there's a dragon image! That's the real Lost Island! The dragon's nest must be there but..."

"Wait a minute! That can't be!" Apis shouts. "That island's shape!"

"Yeah, it looks like Fiammetta was right, and we owe her an apology," Nami says. "I wonder how she knew that?"

"Wait a minute, if the dragon's nest is on Warship Island wouldn't it of been found already?" Usopp asks.

They go on and Apis gets all sad and mopey saying she's sorry for all the trouble. They encourage her to never give up and then Zoro feels someone's presence. He pushes my blade out with his thumb.

Nami takes notice. "Zoro? What's wrong?"

"Someone's here. Up there."

Up above us stands Eric, and he chuckles. "Thank you for deciphering the intricacies of that map. Well done. Now I can find the Dragonite and the nest as well."

"It's the sicko!" Luffy shouts.

"Because there's no point if it's at the bottom of the ocean, it looks like the only option is to steal your millennial dragon."

"No way!" Apis shouts. "We don't know if the nest really sinks so stay away from him, you jerk!"

"You better let us handle him, he got Sickle Sickle Fruit powers," Sanji says. "This is one nasty guy we've got here."

"Sickle Sickle? Him? He's got Devil Fruit powers too?" Usopp asks. "Hey."

"Luffy, you guys go ahead and get Grandpa Ryu to the ship," Zoro says turning to grin at him. "I'll catch up with you later."

~~~Fiammetta's POV~~~

"You should've gone to help them," Emerald says.

"They don't need me. They've gotten this far without me." She feels a giant bang happen above deck. "Sounds like they're back." The ship jerks forward and sets sail. "Here we go again." She moves to the top deck, and everyone turns toward her.

"We're so sorry we didn't believe you!" they all shout on their knees at her feet. "The dragon's nest is on Warship Island!"

Fia smirks. "I told you so."

"I knew you'd say it," Zoro says with a chuckle.

"UH, guys, you might want to see this..." Usopp says.

They look beyond him to see a whole fleet of marines surrounding them.

"You've gotta be kidding me!" Sanji shouts.

"What, did the marines send the whole damn fleet after us?" Zoro fusses.

The ships surround them in a large circle and connect to each other by chains. Four of them.

"Well, I'll be hiding in my room," Fia says and returns to her room.

"Chicken!" Usopp shouts.

She returns to smack him in the face before going back to her room. Emerald looks at Fia confused at her sudden arrival. "Emerald, I want you to lock the hatch and stay inside and don't come out till you hear me again."

"What, why?" she asks.

"I'm turning into my dragon."

"You're gonna show them?!"

"No, never. I'm gonna jump in the ocean and transform underwater then come from the water and save all of us. I want you to stay in the room so they think I'm in there."

"Alright, I'll do it... Just... kick their ass for me."

Fia grins. "Of course I will. I always do." The ship begins to rock as cannonballs are shot at it. "Stay safe, Emerald." Fia leaves the room and makes sure no one sees her before diving off the back of the ship to Ryu. He looks at me. "Don't worry. I'm gonna kick some ass, old geezer." She swims as far down as possible before transforming into her full on dragon self. She watches from the water as Zoro cuts down the chains. The ship begins to set sail straight toward the final chain and a strong gust of wind causes the ship to go off course. That sickle bastard.

He boards the cart with the old geezer and takes Apis hostage. He takes them away, and he handles Apis badly, causing Ryu to find enough strength to stand and roar. The water and air ripples around his loud roar, and everyone covers their ears because it hurts.

That's my cue. Fia bursts up out of the water and roars along with him. She flies over and towers over Ryu and Apis. A notable different type of dragon compared to Ryu. Ryu is about the size of the tips of her claws.

"Where'd that behemoth come from?!" Luffy shouts. "She's huge!"

"How do you know it's a she?" Zoro asks with slight disgust.

"Because she's pink!" Luffy says.

"You idiot!" Sanji shouts, punching him in the back of the head.

"Jeez! It's going to kill us all!" Longnose shouts and frantically runs around. "The mother ship of all dragons!"

Everyone around looks at her in horror.

Apis gets up and sees Ryu before she sees Fia. Once she sees the giant pink dragon she falls to the floor. "F-F-Fi–"

Fia roars to cut her off. I told you not to read my mind, little girl. Next time you do it, I will blow your brain up through it.

She gulps. Ryu gets enough strength to fly next to Fia as they fly towards the main ship to destroy it. They continuously shoot cannonballs at them. and that eventually causes Ryu to be severely injured and fall into the water. Fia roars with all her might, causing several ships to perish.

"Grandpa Ryu!" Apis shouts.

Luffy shoots himself over to land on top of Ryu. "Ryu!" he shouts. "Hang in there. I'll help you." They communicate. "Hey, what are you trying to get at? Don't you talk about dying! Believe me, I know where you're coming from. I won't let anything happen to Apis and I'll make sure you'll get back to the dragon's nest. Now, promise me you'll stay alive."

"Grandpa!!!" Apis shouts.

"Hang in there!" Luffy shouts, lifting Ryu's head out of the water. "Look, I've never been to the dragon's nest but I don't think it's down there!"

But it is. She looksat Luffy when he looks at her.

"It is?" Luffy asks.

The marines shoot a harpoon at Ryu, and Luffy catches it and slings it back, skimming right past the stupid leader. Luffy receives a dying wish from Ryu as the ground begins to rumble.

Here comes the dragon's nest.

"Is that what's happening?" Luffy asks, looking at me.

Get on my back, boy.

Luffy does as told, and she pick ls up Ryu with one of her talons so he doesn't drown. The land begins to rise to the surface. She shields them from the cannons. Ryu lets out one last roar before he goes limp in her claw. Then the whole flock of dragons come barreling over them. All the dragons roar, signaling the death of one of their family. Luffy stretches his leg really high and brings it down on the main ship, splitting it right in half. Fia surprise doesn't show, but Luffy... how much power does this boy have? The other ships get freaked out and all begin to run away. Fia gets Luffy back onto her back and takes him back to the ship. The island finally rises up and surrounds them.

"Is that what I think it is?" Apis asks, looking at a large egg ahead.

"Yeah, now I can see why Grandpa Ryu was so anxious to get back to this place," Luffy says.

"It's here," Apis says.

Fia places Ryu in a large flat opening, and Apis comes running toward him. She backs away but stays near. I'm sorry I couldn't save you, you old geezer, but I'll have you be reborn into that egg.

"Hey, Apis!" Zoro shouts.

"Come back!" Longnose yells. "And she's off but where to?"

"Grandpa Ryu," Luffy says. "He's finally home."

"Grandpa Ryu!" Apis shouts and rushes up to hug his head. "Grandpa! Please get up! Grandpa Ryu..." She cries and sniffles.

"Listen to me," Luffy says. "Grandpa Ryu was lonely."

"Luffy?" Nami says.

"He didn't have a friend until you came along then everything changed for the better. And he wanted you to know that that out of all the centuries he's been alive this past year with you was the happiest time he's ever known."

"You're a liar," Apis says to Ryu. "If this is the place you always talked about then it should heal you and make you strong again like you promised me! Talk to me! You have to get better!" She bursts out crying and wipes her tears repeatedly with her sleeve.

"Ryu was telling you the truth, Apis," Luffy says. "I'm serious. He told me that millennial dragons return to the nest every 1,000 years and are reborn again."

"Grandpa Ryu said all that?" Apis says.

"Look over there," Luffy says and points.

They watch as the egg hatches and out pops out a reborn Ryu. Fia roars and begins digging a hole large enough to put Ryu's old body in. This gains the attention of the crew, and they all look at her funny.

"What is she doing?" Zoro asks.

"Digging a grave for Grandpa Ryu," Luffy says.

"What, really?" Apis asks.

"Can't you hear her?" Luffy asks.

"She told me not to listen to her mind or she'd eat me," Apis mutters.

Fia glares at her and growls.

"I guess she doesn't like you being inside her head," Zoro says. "I wouldn't want anyone in my head either."

Fia finishes digging the deep hole and gently set Ryu inside. Each member of the crew grabs a handful of dirt and drops it onto his body. After they finish saying their goodbyes, Fia dumps the rest of the dug up dirt onto him.

"Goodbye, Grandpa Ryu..." Apis whispers, wiping away a few stray tears. "Thank you all for all the help even though I put you through a lot of trouble."

"Alright, let's get Apis back home! It's time to celebrate!" Luffy cheers.

Apis takes one last look at the burial of Ryu before catching up with the others.

As they walk away Eric resurfaces from wherever, and Luffy defeats him but not without lots of x cuts.

"Fia can heal you," Zoro says. He gasps. "Fia!"

"Oh yeah!" Luffy shouts. "Where is she at?"

"Wait, why could she heal him?" Sanji asks. "Is she a doctor? That's so hot!"

Fia snorts, causing them to all look at the pink dragon funny.

"Did that dragon just snort in laughter?" Nami asks.

"Why is that dragon still hanging around us?" Usopp says. "I bet she's planning on eating us!!"

Fia roars and flies off back into the water to transform back into her wanted form and secretly fly onto the ship back to her room.

"Fia! Why do you look like that?! Do they know now?" Emerald asks.

"No," my deeper voice comes out as she transforms back into her normal pink haired self.

"Fia!" Luffy's voice rings out from the deck of the ship.

She walks up to the deck. "What?"

"I was told you can heal me!" Luffy says.

She glares at Zoro. "All I said was that you could heal him. I never told him about your Devil Fruit powers. Oh, shit."

"You dumbass!"

"You have Devil Fruit powers?" Nami asks.

She grunts. "I ate the Mend Mend Fruit. I'm bullet proof, my speed and reflexes are enhanced, and Devil Fruit powers can't touch me. I can also heal people with my blood."

"Is that why the hot pot didn't burn you?" Luffy asks.

"Yeah." She notices all the cuts on him. "Those are a lot worse than I thought..." She walks toward the kitchen. "Come on, Luffy, and let me heal your cuts."

Everyone walks into the kitchen as Fia grabs out her dagger.

"What're you gonna do?" Longnose asks.

"Heal him," she says. "Luffy, hold out your arms." He does as told, and she cuts deeply into her hand.

"What are you doing?!" Sanji shouts. "You're blemishing your beautiful skin!"

"No she's not," Zoro says. "Watch."

Fia shows them the palm of her hand to see that it's fully healed.

"That's incredible!" Luffy shouts.

"Yeah, now hold still," she says and reslices her hand. She quickly runs it all across his arms, legs, and torso, having to recut every other second.

"Doesn't that hurt?" Apis shouts.

"You know it doesn't."

"Man, I wish I was the one that got injured so I could have Fia rubbing her hands all over me!" Sanji swoons.

Fia brings her leg around to kick him in the face. "Pervert."

"Fia, you missed the big dragon! She was huge! One of her claws was bigger than Grandpa Ryu!" Luffy says. His face saddens. "Grandpa Ryu died, but he was reborn so everything's okay!"

"I know."

"What, how?" Sanji asks.

"I do have a window in my room."

"I forgot about that," Nami says.

"Theresl She finishes healing Luffy. "Sanji, give me a washcloth."

"Anything for you, dear Fia!" he says and hands me a wet washcloth.

Fia wipes off all her blood from Luffy's body and all the cuts have disappeared.

"Whoa!" everyone shouts. "That's awesome!"

"You're amazing!" Luffy shouts.

"You can take the position of doctor on the ship," Nami says.

"Oh, no. I'm no doctor. I only know a few basic things. If someone gets the flu or stomach pains or vomiting."

"That's good enough for me!" Luffy exclaims.

She sighs as we drop off Apis and say our goodbyes before we enter the Grand Line. After all that craziness to get there, they end up encountering a giant whale at the end!
