Kenji POV

It has been a day since I have been captured and we where nearing their camp. After I have been captured I made it my goal to be the most annoying pain in the ass ever and it seemed to be working for most of the girls.

Me: Wow a branch. So easy to snap, just like your arms. And Batman's back.

Fed. Girl 1: Not this again. Can you please stop talking for just one minute?

Me: Awfully odd for you to ask a prisoner to stop talking, usually you want them to keep talking.

Fed. Girl 2: Why did we capture the annoying one?

Me: Annoying is relative.

Yuuki: Can we ask some questions?

Me: Fire away.

Fed. Girl 1: Oh dear god.

Sometimes the freshman girls would ask me questions regarding boys but I have no idea how to answer them so I decided to say what most good adults say.

Aya: What is a color we should wear on our first date?

Me: It depends on the boy.

Aya: Oh.

Works every time.

Azusa: We should really be paying attention to our job.

Ayumi: One more question?

Fed. Girl 1: Please n-

Me: Sure.

The Federation girls gave me a glare while the freshmen girls squealed with delight. The freshmen thought for a bit before Aya spoke up.

Aya: What do you think of Miho?

If I had water in my mouth I would be spitting it out in force. I could see Miho, who was ignoring my previous comments, turn a crimson red while her crew plus their replacement loader turned around waiting for my answer.

Me: Maybe something els-

Fed. Girl 1: No no, I like this one.

Me (thought): Me and my big mouth.

I quickly tried to think of a plan, then I found it.

Me: Tôi nghĩ cô ấy là một người rất tốt và cô ấy được tôi tôn trọng như một người chỉ huy. (I think she is a very kind person and she has my respects as a commander.)

The girls all looked at me in confusion and I knew I got it. Then Aya brought out a phone and went to me.

Aya: Can you please repeat what you said into here.

Me: What?

Aya: This is a translator. It detects what language you are speaking and translates it to Japanese. "English in this case."

I began to try and think of another plan however to my relief I saw the camp ahead.

Me: Well look, the camp.

The girls looked and sighed with disappointment we soon arrived at the gate and we where greeted by Maho who quickly walked up to Miho who gave her a smile.

Maho: Glad you made it back.

Maho returned the smile however it quickly disappeared when she looked at me.

Me: Hello.

Maho: Are you a prisoner?

Me: Well I'm handcuffed so yes.

Maho was joined by a Erika and both of their crews. Erika was visibly a bit agitated but she didn't say a word.

Me: Well, hello Mrs. Itsumi.

Erika: Hello.

They where soon joined by Katyusha and a huge girl next to her who is almost my height.

Katyusha: So this is a Marine? Laughable.

I jerked towards her and she flinched back. I felt a small smile form on my face and I saw and annoyed look on the tall girl's face. I knew I was going to be tortured so I might as well diss them off when I have the chance.

Me: That's big talk from someone who could barely back up their words.

Katyusha: What do you mean by th-

Me: If only your body was as big as your words, I might actually be able to believe your threats.

Katyusha became livid and she began to scream insults at me but I didn't care. The tall girl came up to me with an annoyed look but I simply shrugged made a cheeky smile to try and piss her off. It didn't work on the right person as Katyusha charged me. I quickly gave her a roundhouse kick that sent her flying to a tent.

Me: If you want, I can kick ass all day.

The taller girl quickly went to Katyusha's aid while Miho gave me a weird look. We stared at each other for a bit before a huge meaty hand clapped me on the shoulder.

???: Is this the one who has been giving us trouble?

??? 2: Murakami, let him go.

The weight of meat left my shoulder and I turned around to see myself looking slightly down at a girl in a white sailor uniform.

Me: Hello.

The girl now identified as Murakami looked at me up and down before crossing her arms.

Murakami: For a prisoner you have a sharp tongue. I can respect that.

Katyusha: Why are you siding with him!

I was about to speak when a girl much shorter came up to her and shook her head sternly. Murakami simply nodded and stepped back and the girl looked up at me and tried to square up.

???: Name is Ogin, and I must say this is my first time seeing a Marine in person you do not disappoint.

Me: Thanks?

Ogin: Anyway, have a good day.

With that she turned around and walked off. Soon the camp went back to its normal business and I was lead to a cell on the edge of the camp. When they took my cuffs off I rubbed my hands gingerly and soon I was alone again.

Me: Well this is just great.

I began to scan the area for a way to escape however I heard light footsteps coming from the opposite side of the wall I was sitting against. I continued to listen until I heard tapping on the wall. I was pleasantly surprised and soon a small slit began to form along the wall's corner. Then I heard a hushed voice.

Bell: Hey Captain, it's Bell.

Me: Bell? Aren't you a scout?

Bell: I was assigned to track you. I must say that your prison guards move extremely slow.

Me: But still.

Bell: I was also dropped from a helicopter from where you where captured.

Me: Ok, that makes more sense.

Bell: Yeah.

Me: So what's the plan for escape?

Bell: Well I got a few grenades so I think I can make a distraction. Is there a vehicle we can use?

I looked around and soon found my eyes on an armored car on the opposite side of a small row of boxes.

Me: We got an LAV in the middle of the camp.

Bell: Well let's just hope to Hestia-

Me: I know now is not the time but dude cut the mythology stuff.

Bell: Right, sorry Captain.

Me: Kenji is just fine.

Bell: Right Kenji. I'll be setting of the distraction soon.

Me: Alright. 

With that I began to test the bars. One of them broke almost instantly and I shook my head.

Me: Shoddy craftwork.

I then heard a huge explosion and soon girls began to flood out towards where the explosion was heard. I took a deep breath and with all my might I rammed the bars. The cell collapsed and I got up and made a run for the car. As I approached the car however I felt a tackle and soon I was on the ground for a short while. I whipped my head around only to see Miho hugging my waist in a weird attempt to stop me.

Me: Well this is awkward.

Miho: It's not what it looks like!

Bell: I'm here Kenj-......I see you are busy, apologies.

Me: It's not like that!

I quickly got Miho off me and jumped onto the car which Bell had began the engine. Soon we where off however the sound of engines behind us got louder and soon shots began to zip past us. Bell quickly grabbed his rifle and began to return fire as I took a quick look through the rearview mirror. I saw a few cars with girls in them from the combined schools. One of them had Miho's crew and Miho was in a car behind them.

Me: Bell stop shooting.

Bell: But what about the people trying to shoot us?

Me: You don't have to worry about that soon.

Bell looked at me confused however the sound of aircraft engines quickly cut him off.

Me: And that's the reason why.

Soon a harrier came out of the clouds and began to give us cover fire. Most of the cars swerved away however Miho's crew, two Federation cars, and Miho continued their pursuit.

Bell: How do you know?

Me: Scouts roundabout here, now you might want to start shooting.

Bell quickly took aim and the sound of a car engine dying gave me a signal that we might be fine.

Me: Do you know if there are any other prisoners?

Bell: John was captured however we couldn't get ahold of his information on where he is being held.

Me: Well that's a pickle.

Bell: Yes. However we should be able to rendezvoused with the Raiders. The main force should reach the Raider's outpost by tomorrow.

Suddenly a loud screech is heard and I looked in the mirror to see a truck from what seem to be Bonpole was also in pursuit of us.

Me: Seriously, more?! What is this a James Bond movie?!

Bell: Can you please focus on driving?!

I nodded and the sound of cars began to grow closer. I then noticed a siren sound and I looked up to see....

Me: STUKAS!

I quickly banked left and bullets quickly pinged off the side of the car.

Bell: That was close!

Me: We're losing speed.

Bell: What?

Me: Sharp turn decreases speed. So can you please just shoot them already!

Bell: On it!

Bell quickly began to try and take out the tires and he succeeded with the trucks and the two federation vehicles. Soon it was only Miho's crew and Miho along with a few Federation girls.

A bullet hit Bell and he grunted in pain however he quickly drawled his pistol and resumed firing.

Bell: Who is shooting that thing?

Me: Impressed?

Bell: Kind of!

Suddenly a Stuka is sounded again and soon an explosion is heard behind us.  I heard Bell gasp and I quickly looked in the review mirror to my regret.

Me: That doesn't look to good.

Bell: Yeah....

Me: Hope they are alright.

Bell:........we should help.

Me: What?

Bell: We should help.

I thought for a moment before sighing and slamming the brakes and performing a 198 drift and started to head back. We soon got to their location and hopped out of the car. Miho's car was alright, its passengers unconscious from the bomb however the other car faired much worst. It's hood was ripped off and all the girls suffred minor injuries. One of them who has black hair with a strand of it sticking out was still conscious and Bell quickly ran to her. As he began to treat her I could see he was acting a bit strange. It's probbably nothing. I got Miho and the Fed. girls out of the car and began to check for injuries. Once I cleared them I gave Bell a hand with the orange haired one and the sleepy one.

Me: Any major injuries?

Bell: Not that I can see.

Me: Alright, lets go.

Bell: Right.

After one last check to make sure they're ok I placed Miho's handkerchief back into her hand and quickly ran towards the car. We soon booked it as the sound engines got louder. We soon got away and as we drove back towards friendly lines Bell gave me a questioning look.

Bell: So what is your relationship with that Miho girl?

Me: Nothing.

Bell: I saw what you did.

I began to feel my face flush a small bit of red however I quickly shook it off.

Me: You speak of nothing or else I'll spill the beans about your little crush on the girl in Miho's crew. Understood?

Bell quickly flushed red and he began to fidget his fingers a bit.

Bell: Roger that.
