Kenji POV

I look at my watch and silently say a prayer to whatever god was above me and look through my binoculars. Ever since the meeting I had authorized all special and secret weapons to be deployed however our time was short. The attack was supposed to launch in ten minutes however we are being delayed with troop movements slowed down. Everything must be perfect.

Me: Hey, Reo.

Reo popped his head out of his tank and gave me an affirmative hum.

Me: You think this will work?

Reo: Well it has to work, if it doesn't we don't have time to rethink.

Me: Right.

Reo: Hey no pressure.

Me: That makes everything better.

Reo chuckled a bit however his voice was cutoff by a loud scream. I quickly jumped out of my tank and ran to the source. I soon spotted a private who had wide eyes that show shock.

Me: What's wrong private?

Private: I-It moved!

Me: What moved?

The private pointed at a box that was about the size of a very large ammo crate and I made my way towards it. It had a cover over it and I carefully removed it.

Me: Cyberlife?

I looked back at the private with a confused face on.

Me: Hey, does anyone know what Cyberlife is?

Reo: Nope, but that package came from the states about three days after we landed you. We haven't touched it sense however it came with a letter saying it's experimental technology.

Me: *sigh* Alright, Reo come help me open this thing.

Reo nodded and we took opposite sides of the box and slowly lifted it up. Suddenly a person like thing jumped out and I quickly drew my pistol.

Me: Holy shit!

Reo: What in the actual world?!

The human like thing turned around and nodded towards me as if acknowledging me.

Kenobi: Hello there, my name is Kenobi. I am the android sent by cyber life to help assist you in combat.

Me: A-Android?

Kenobi: I am an artificial intelligence that is capable in working with humans to help eliminate threats. I was assigned by cyber life to work with the USMCMALAT and assist a man by the name of Kenji Itsumi, rank Captain.

Me: Well you got the right man, but why me?

Kenobi: Your commanding officers are all too old and will be graduating soon to the USMC in the next two years however you have a bit more time so it was decided that I assist you and help form bonds with the lower ranks of your Company.

Me: Uhm, ok. Well welcome aboard Kenobi.

Kenobi: It's a pleasure meeting you Captain.

Me: So I guess you ride with me in the tank?

Kenobi: Correct.

Me: Alright. Just don't touch anything. I don't care who programmed you but you're green-

Kenobi: I believe my skin color is set to the normal hue of a Caucasian male.

Me: No, you're inexperienced.

Kenobi: I believe your mistaken as I can fight like a fully operational Marine recruit-

Me: No, you're inexperienced with field knowledge. What's the most important thing?

Kenobi: Completing the mission.

Me: Wrong. Your comrades are what's most important. If a mission failed so what, you get your balls busted by some higherup. If you comrades die on you though that is an unforgivable crime, that's one more family that has to go thorough the pain and we all pay that price.

Kenobi: I.....understand. Shall I keep that memorized?

Me: Yes, add a shortcut to it as well.

Kenobi: Understood.

Me: Ok, now lets get moving. Our attack will begin in a few minutes.

Kenobi: Very well.

I nodded towards Reo and the private who has slightly recovered from his shock and we quickly mounted up. As I got Kenobi situated and started to answer my crews questions a roar of a jet is heard and I looked up to see a huge shadow flying overhead.

Gunner: What the h*ll is that?!

Kenobi: That is a Raven VTOL stealth heavy bomber, it was in the packages sent to you by the government which included me.

I grabbed my radio and clicked it on.

Me: Alright everyone, this is it. Remember the plan and we all should be fine. Alright?

All: OORAH!

I looked up and the bomber was gone, however a huge series of explosions is heard and I quickly flipped my radio back on.

Me: All tanks, advance!
