Hell, no.
My life is boring and empty. I've lost every interest in it.
"Excuse me?" A dressed up woman in a very pink and ugly dress appeared next to me. Her long fake nails clicked as she tipped on the shelf in front of me.
"Helloo? Can you hear me? Aren't you like working here??"
I looked at her for a second. That was the moment I once again realized that I really hated my job.
She blinked at me with her long fake lashes. Her red lips curled to a smile as she saw me finally looking at her.
I nodded. Please, God, make her go away fast.
"Finally. Oh, you look kinda cute." Her expression changed from annoyment to a flirty one.
She shoved her body nearer to mine and I felt like I could vomit every second.
That was the moment I first felt it. There was something. I saw something wabbering in the corner of my eyes. As I turned around it vanished but I was very sure that there has been something- something has been watching me.
But the next second the feeling was gone and I was very annoyed as the woman in front of me suddenly touched my shoulder. Surprisingly her grip was soft even though her nails looked as she could easily kill someone with them. But I hate it when people touch me, and I cannot stand woman touching me. So I flinched back and the woman lifted one of her coloured eyebrows.
"How may I help you?" My voice was cold and distant. Usually I tried to appear friendlier but this woman made me feel angry. At least I tried to sound polite. I needed this job. This was what I told myself every single day. Although I was poorly paid. I couldn't care less.
She smiled again. "Wanna meet later on?" Oh hell, no. What was happening here? I was staring at her in surprise. Never ever has a woman asked me out. Never. I am not handsome. I am not successful. And I am certainly not cute.
"I can't meet with costumers.", I said, my voice however decided to crack in the middle of the sentence. I hawked. "How may I help you?"
The woman in front of me began to giggle. I couldn't see what was so funny. I watched her with caution as she calmed down and smiled at me again, trying to be seductive.
"What'll happen if I don't buy anything from here?" Shit. I didn't want to hurt her feelings but if she wasn't a costumer, I didn't have to worry.
"No, thank you." I turned around and walked away but I could hear her laughing again and my stomache began to feel weird.
"No worries, sweetie, I'll wait!", she shouted and I walked faster. I hate this woman. I never want to see her again. However, I had a feeling that this was not the end. That there was something happening, something evolved, that I couldn't really get a grasp of yet. I suddenly felt like needing a break.
"James, come to cash register one, will ya?" A voice with a strong accent echoed from the speakers through the supermarket. I sighed as I started walking to the registers. It was my turn.
