A battle ensued between Hakos Baelz and the possessed Ina. The battle was intense to look at, though Baelz has overwhelming power, the Ancient Ones were always prepared to counter act. Ina's body was like a glass cannon, having high amounts of power, but a weak body, though it was fixed due to the Ancient One's weird power that is the black substance. Calli was watching from afar and she was concerned. She didn't know what to do at this point, she can't interfere due to the overwhelming power pressure, including that if she steps in, she has a high chance of just being squashed between instead of breaking the fight. 

Calli: "Damn it."

She then heard footsteps approach from behind and once she turned around, she saw Kronii. She summoned her scythe immediately.

Kronii: "Stand down immortal. I am not here to fight you now."

Calli was suspicious but she calmed down when she saw Amelia being carried by Kronii. Kronii then put her down carefully, Calli was still suspicious.

Calli: "Is she..?"

Kronii: "The detective is still alive. I spared her, for now."

Calli: "What made you change your mind?"

Kronii: "I finally saw what the detective meant. But even I am too late to stop what is coming now."

Calli: "What do you mean?"

Kronii then walked a bit forward, to gain some distance and watch the fight.

Kronii: "Chaos is.... a complicated person. She is pure, but yet not at the same time. Her power rivals even I. Or perhaps even the gods."

Calli: "So you lot are...?"

Kronii: "No, we are not gods. We are avatars, created by the gods to keep the balance. You are here for your friend, but he is currently not here."

Calli: "That means...?"

Kronii: "He is currently with the other members, fixing the issue you tried to help with. He will return to you in due time. For now, even I cannot interfere with this battle."

Calli: "Why can't you!?"

Calli was getting furious at the Warden, but Kronii is not phased by this at all.

Kronii: "Her power is very destructive compared to the rest of us. Each avatar is unique with their given power. If you care to listen, then you better listen well."

Kronii was still watching the fight, while Calli stood there in confusion but she lowered her guard, letting her scythe disappear. 

Kronii: "Each avatar is created for a purpose. In truth, four of us were created by the gods to watch over the balance of the universe, but the fifth was created by the will of humanity. The mortals were powerful enough to at least allow a fifth to be made. The one created by humanity is the Guardian of Civilization, Nanashi Mumei. Her power is simple to understand, the more danger she is in, she improves. She acts like what you mortals would act, improvise, adapt, handle things their own way. She loves humanity too much sometimes that even I cannot understand why they should be around. The Keeper of Nature, Ceres Fauna is kind and gentle. Her power allows her to control the nature around her, making her in tune with the beauty and the wildlife that existed within the nature itself along with the civilizations. Those two are nothing compared to the rest, considering that they are still the very concepts that rely off of each other to improve. The Speaker of Space, Tsukumo Sana is one that is curious about most things since she throws quite a tantrum when she doesn't get to experience something. Her power makes her grow in size, being what the mortals would call, the tank of the group. But her sheer strength is one to not underestimate, that is why she is limited by her limiter. The Warden of Time, which is I, Ouro Kronii, you can get the idea yourself. My power is allowing me to traverse through time and keep it in check. My goal was to stop the detective from causing more distortions, but I seemed to have failed my job. But the Harbinger of Chaos, Hakos Baelz is a different story...."

Calli was trying to take this all in, trying to understand all of it. 

Calli: "What do you mean?"

Kronii: "You see, Chaos was given an overwhelming power that rivals all of us. Originally since she was chosen to be our leader, she needed a power that could rival all of us. Her power is flexible, very chaotic and unstable."

Calli: "I get the chaotic and unstable, but flexible?"

Kronii: "Her power greatly boosts her capabilities, and she is able to mess with the laws of the battlefield if required. Thus also her power can destroy things if necessary. Even though I am considered the strongest since I tend to keep things in line for the group, Chaos has a power that could even surpass me, perhaps very close to a greater potential than most think."

We then cut to Baelz's fight. The Ancient Ones' control over Ina is very much noticeable for Baelz so she has no choice but to not hold back her punches. So while she was charging towards her, multiple tentacles appear, trying to stop her charge. Baelz dodges them with finesse and ease. Eventually reaching her. She leaps in the air and does a downward kick, trying to squish her, but the Ancient Ones' saw this coming. Before the attack made contact, she split in two, dodging the attack. There was now two of them, which ticked Baelz off, spiking her aura in frustration.

Baelz: "You think a trick like that would work!?"

She then clicks her fingers together, releasing a shockwave that disintegrates the surroundings around her, including the two copies. But when she recovers her breathing, there were more copies around her, seemingly endless to her spectacle. Baelz grits her teeth.

Ancient Ones: "Did I touch a nerve Chaos?"

Then most of the copies rose their hands, releasing magical attacks at Baelz, forcing her to dodge most of them. Baelz then blitz's through most of the copies, destroying them in an instant. But the Ancient Ones were prepared for this as well. Before Baelz could go for the last copies, the Ancient Ones combined their attacks into one powerful magic attack that forced Baelz to block. After the explosion dissipates, Baelz was still there, without any scratches on her, a large smirk on her face.

Baelz: "That all you got!?"

She then blitz's through the remaining copies, leaving one left. The Ancient Ones then use a portal to dodge Baelz's next attack and lands to the ground, but Baelz was not too far behind. The Ancient Ones then create a barrier in an attempt to block the next attack. Baelz saw this barrier but she didn't care and went straight for it. She punched the barrier, though she was struggling to break through it at the beginning, the more force she put into the punch, the more easier it became. The barrier eventually shatters and the force from the punch leaves a hole straight through the centre of the Ancient Ones possessed Ina. Baelz then continued her offensive by doing multiple kicks and punches, preventing the Ancient Ones from countering in anyway possible. Eventually going for a blow to the head, knocking the head clean off with a kick, then finishing it off with a downwards kick that vaporizes the remains of the body. 

Baelz was breathing softly, feeling her power and lust depleting. But eventually the choker around her neck formed again, supressing her power. But by the head, the body of the possessed Ina formed again, as if nothing had happened. Baelz smirked, keeping her fear inside.

Baelz: "You are quite resilient."

Ancient Ones: "Your true power was interesting Chaos, but you had a limit and the gods had noticed. Your power is supressed yet again."

Baelz knew what she was talking about, but she didn't waver this time. 

Baelz: "That may be true, but you don't have your full capabilities compared to before."

Ancient Ones: "Though that is true, even with a mortal's body, making it my own... I am still powerful enough to keep up with one of the strongest avatars around. Doesn't that make a mockery?"

Baelz: "No. It is what the balance has intended, but you trying to destroy it is not what was intended. I cannot interfere with mortal affairs but yet, you are not a mortal eldritch."

Ancient Ones: "These mortals are but parasites. Eradicating them would be doing the gods a favour."

Baelz knew she was getting nowhere at this rate, but when she tried to stand up, she fell to her one knee again. 

Ancient Ones: "What's the matter? You can't move anymore?"

Baelz knew what was going on, the suppression is forcing her to not move anymore. 

Back with Kronii, she knew that this fight was over. 

Kronii: "Wait here immortal, I will deal with this now."

Kronii then just simply vanishes from Calli's point of view. Calli wanted to say something but she knew that if she stepped in, she would not have made a difference. The Ancient Ones tries to walk up but Kronii then appears in front of Baelz. Baelz does a little chuckle.

Baelz: "Now you show up?"

Her smirk was still ever present.

Kronii: "I couldn't interfere with your duel. Besides, I will now take over from here."

Baelz: "Well you are no different right now Kronii... You look like shit as well."

Kronii: "I have the solution."

Ancient Ones: "Warden. Step aside."

Kronii stood her ground, the Ancient Ones saw no issue with this and charges forward. But time was slower for Kronii, so she rose her hand putting it in front of the possessed Ina's face. In the moment, Kronii grabbed her face and behind the possessed Ina appeared a shattered portal. Throwing her inside it and closing it. Baelz saw this as anticlimactic but she takes anything at this point. 

Kronii: "Now to important business. Chaos, we will be taking the mortals in for now."

Baelz was confused, because of the fact that Kronii wanted to deal with them and is now allowing them to stay. Baelz gets up and walks up to her.

Baelz: "Are you crazy!? You wanted to kill them and now you want to keep them here!? What happened to not interfering in mortal affairs!?"

Kronii: "This is something bigger and judging by what has occurred by you being supressed heavily, the gods don't want us to interfere any further. So we must allow them to stay and rest up, they will take care of this menace, or perish by its hands."

Baelz gritted her teeth, grinding them a bit but then sighing.

Baelz: "Fine, but you must at least let them deal with this as soon as possible, or we will have to deal with it. Understood?"

Kronii nodded, confirming that Kronii will do what is needed. 

Baelz: "For now, I need to get in contact with the rest of the Council and get them here as soon as possible."

Baelz starts walking away, but stopping midway.

Baelz: "Oh and Kronii, you will bring them to the tower."

Kronii didn't like that part one bit, but since she suggested this, she is not going to complain.

Back with William, he is still meditating to try and achieve this calm state but every time he does it, the more difficult it gets. It is like as if Asher is preventing him from entering in the first place. When he opened his eyes, breathing heavily and sweating, he stood up.

???: "Again."

William: "I can't right now. I need a break."

The guardian understood and allowed him to do so. But in the moment, Mumei and Fauna entered the chamber, making the guardian bow to them. Mumei waves it off.

Mumei: "You don't need to bow guardian. William, Fauna and I need to go now."

William: "What for?"

Mumei: "It is something urgent that we need to handle."

Fauna: "While we are gone, you can get back to handling this alright?"

Fauna's voice was still soothing but something about it was off to William. He shakes it off and nods his head in understanding.

Mumei: "Guardian, make sure he completes his task alright?"

???: "I will do my best lady Mumei."

Mumei and Fauna then leave the chamber, closing the entrance behind them. 

William: "Something is definitely off..."

???: "Agreed but you cannot worry about that now. You need to succeed in your task before worrying about anything else."

William was unsure if what he is doing is the right thing to do but he thinks this carefully and nods in understanding.
